A great place to start the day or to have an nice break from walking the historical area. The "shot in the dark" is a smart coffee idea and delicious. This is a much nicer place than the other coffee houses in the area. more

We stopped in one morning for coffee based off of recommendations listed here and in general would agree. The only complaints is that the place does smell like moth balls, if you can get past that the atmosphere is cool eclectic coffee shop. The place has a local feel and the coffee is very good. I am not sure about... more

I visited Savannah and stopped by Cafe Ambrosia following the suggestion of a trusted friend, and the food was so absolutely delicious; I can't wait to return to Savannah and revisit Cafe Ambrosia. The service was down-to-earth and cordial. The atmosphere was welcoming. I had a Smoked Salmon BLT and I could not believe how the flavors tingled on my... more

I had a red pepper and goat cheese quiche. It was pretty good. They sell coffee, desserts and paninis. The man who works there is very friendly and passionate about his job. more

Ambrosia is such a gem! I love the atmosphere, it is so nice, but relaxing. the only food i have had there is tomato soup (which was extremely fresh and delicious), but it is my favorite place to go for my coffee of choice, americanos. It is sooo much better than starbucks or any of the independent places. I know... more

The boars head on the water front is the best food and people in Savanah. We sat out side and watched the ships come in while drinking fine wine and eating the best staek in town. We are going to drive all the way back just to see the fine folks at Boars Head. more

I am a former employee (probably the transplanted New Englander mentioned by someone else). I worked there for many years and now that I have moved from Savannah, I have not found it's equal in coffee, lunch, or pasteries. The paninis are amazing and I dream about the pear tarts. It's a great spot for an afternoon caffeine fix and... more

I love Cafe Ambrosia. I have been there several times. The food is great and the coffee and lattes even better. The service is excellent, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is most charming. The prices are reasonable and there is a large selection. Highly recommended! more

We went to Ambrosia several times during our vacation in Savannah! What a great little cafe. The first time we went was for a mid-day glass of wine (yes, they serve wine!) and we sat in the cushy chairs to relax. They do have outdoor seating as well. Went back the next day for lunch (Grilled cheese paninis & fresh... more
