Had lunch here. Found the menu innovative (fancy) with most items exotic combinations of ingredients. Food was good as was the service but lunch for 2 at $45 was a little steep.

WOW, this place is amazing! While searching for a bite to eat for lunch, we just happened to walk by not knowing anything about this place except for the delicious smell coming out onto the street. We walked into one of the most unique, charming and delicious places I've ever come across! It really was like stepping back in time!... More

We happened upon the Gryphon Tea Room when looking for a place to get a cold drink. What a find. It is set in an old pharmacy and you can spend hours just looking at the original woodwork and lighting. In addition, the afternoon tea was very good and the SCAD students make it a fun place to visit. Highly... More

We are sorry we have not posted this review until now but due to a close family bereavement some reviews were overlooked. This restaurant is set in an old chemists shop of some considerable and elegant proportions. It is a great atmosphere truly worthy of Savannah and not to be missed. We had two lemonades (there is no alcohol) and... More

Stopped for lunch after touring Cathedral. It is beautifully decorated and the food was delicious. I recommend the salmon. My daughter had the peanut butter, granola and banana sandwich and it was wonderful. My mom had the pork tenderloin which was delicious. A very enjoyable experience.

The food was very tasty and its nice talking with the SCAD students. I was disappointed one time when they didn't have service other than snacks due to the fact they under estimated the crowds of returning students and parents.

I have always wanted to have afternoon tea in a tea room. The Gryphon did not let me down. I made reservations at 4pm and it was the most wonderful thing ever! The atmosphere is truly something to be experienced; it’s not your typical ‘grandma’ style tea room. It’s vintage yet stylish! They have these lovely old books that surround... More

The atmosphere is awesome. Books & antiques everywhere. I started off with a pot of earl grey tea. It was rainy outside that day so the tea really hit the spot. It was served in an old fashioned tea pot, with the strainer and everything! I had the goat cheese salad with maple vinaigrette and added some chicken. Chicken was... More

Had lunch there with my mom for a mother-daughter outing. Ambience, service, and food was great. It was my third time there and I plan on visiting again sometime in the future.
