You can feel spoiled and comfortable here, all at the same time!

This place has it all Wonderful wait staff (SCAD students who are so warm and friendly!); delicious food and great atmosphere! I had the goat cheese, prosciutto, arugula and fig spread sandwich; my daughter had the honey, peanut butter, banana and granola sandwich - she loved it! The place is so... read more

We stopped here for lunch during our trolley tour of Savannah and were bowled over by the beautiful surroundings. This place is a gem with servers from Savannah College of Art and a magical piano tinkling away while you dine amongst floor to ceiling book shelves and artwork. Lunch was delicious and very different too - we had a mix... More

We had a wonderful lunch that consisted of sandwiches and soups and salads with a medley of different teas. The food is delicious and the teas were outstanding! This is a great place for lunch and an interesting atmosphere

My husband and I did not have the full tea experience due to time constraints, but we did enjoy delicious beverages at the bar and chatted with the most friendly bartenders. The whole room is decorated in such a way that it was like being transported back in time. I hope to go back and do the full tea room... More

This is one of my favorite places to have lunch in Savannah. I have been eating here regularly for over 10 years. Today I had the Moroccan Salmon. The salmon was perfectly cooked with couscous, olives and oranges. It is a wonderful light entree. All the salad choices are delicious. A popular choice is the goat cheese salad. The hot... More

Lovely little meal in a lovely, cozy atmosphere. The interior is beautiful and Edwardian - a step back in time to turn of the century Savannah.

Lovely place. Gorgeous inside. A stop not too miss during your Savannah visit. The manager on duty at 1:00 on August 4,2015 was not a good representative of this lovely establishment. When he seated us and our two children right next to some business people having lunch, he seem to be annoyed when I asked to be seated elsewhere so... More

The café is owned by the School of Art and Design (SCAD). It is housed in the downstairs portion of the old Shriner's building in what once was an apothecary with a soda bar. The old decorative tiffany glass and formulary drawers have been retained, as well as the fabulous wood. It is cozy and quite compelling. We were directed... More

I do not rate all of the fine restaurants we have dined at, but every once in a while, you come across an exceptional dining experience, that is as unique as it is delicious. The Gryphon Tea Room is the exception that compels you to draw attention to the world. Our experience was the Sunday brunch. At the cornerstone of... More
