Had to stop at this place because it use to be a pharmacy and being a nerd had to check it out. The atmosphere is beautiful with remittances of the previous history of a former pharmacy. Unfortunately it was interrupted by the waitress that forgot our order and then forgot us completely. Would have been a better experience with a... More

this building is amazing... do not overlook this small wonder. The stonework at the top is colorful and is worthy of many pictures. Have a good camera available

Gryphon Tea Room was the very first place we set foot in upon arrival in Savannah. While driving in from the airport, we learned that our vacation rental wouldn't be ready for a couple of hours, and just happened to turn onto Bull Street and saw an empty parking spot. As luck would have it, the spot was right in... More

The location is stunning, the grand piano playing and the ambiance are not to be missed. The actual tea lunch was average, but the server and the desserts made up for the lack of creativity in the menu.

We had a wonderful lunch at this charming location! The waitress was a very nice student at SCAD who shared much history with us. We hope to visit again on our next visit to savannah!

The atmosphere in this place would make anything taste good. The stained glass skylight, beautiful bookcases and storage drawers, comfy seating and private gathering spots are unique. We had a great salad and panini, good service, and it was reasonably priced. I would love to have a place like this near my home!

Best Sandwich ever! I tried the grilled pimento cheese sandwich and it was amazing! Love the decor and the fact the SCAD owns and operates it and allows SCAD students to work there only.

Excellent atmosphere and lovely lunch place. Food was good and service very nice. We were all ladies and it seemed a perfect spot for a ladies luncheon.

We stopped by the Gryphon for a late lunch and were surprised to find that this former apothecary (now tea room) is staffed by students from the Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD). The students were knowledgable, attentive, and gave us great recommendations on the menu. I had a filet and brie sandwich on a baguette that was so... More
