Nice Lunch outside

Always busy, we had to dine outside. Service was prompt and efficient. Our sandwich meals were well prepared and well priced. Students from SCAD often wait these tables and are a font of information about the city.

Beautiful room! Food was good and tea was tasty. Service was also good, all scad students. We had gone a few days earlier and realized reservations were needed. There is only one table for walk ins so you can either wait of plan ahead.

A very nice room with carved mahogany bookcases surrounding you, It is run by SCAD, and some of the waitresses are SCAD students. The portions are not large, however, the food is well prepared, and well presented. The service is very friendly, and the room is elegant, with a real piano playing itself electronically. Great location, this is definitely part... More

We stopped here one afternoon and enjoyed the experience of having tea and associated snacks. It was not cheap to have the three-tier tower of food. Also, it was not a large amount of food. However, we were not extremely hungry and we were looking more for an interesting experience than for a meal.

Live about 15 minutes away and wanted a place I could relax. It's been years since I've been here and the decor seems different but very nice. I had the afternoon tea, perfection, except as I was leaving I saw another table of 3 with their afternoon tea and they had received more of a variety of items such as... More

My wife and I went recently and had a great time. The decor alone is worth the visit. It was incredibly unique It felt old-fashioned, but in a funky sort of way. On top of that, the food we had was excellent. I had never been to a "tea room" before and was wondering if this place would feel stuffy,... More

We’d been here a couple of times in the last few years on trips to Savannah and were impressed by the cheerful airy and light atmosphere and the very good healthy food. So our expectations were high upon our third visit. We were surprised by the different look – the entire restaurant seemed darker with heavier wood furnishings, formal dinner... More

This restaurant would usually deserve the highest rating, but there were some logistical problems, and I couldn't stretch it. My companion and I are two 6-footers and the seating hostess took us to a tiny table for two - my chest was wider than the table. The restaurant was almost empty, and when it began to fill up, we saw... More

We were there the weekend after Christmas. We had the hot cinnamon tea, scones and a turkey sandwich. Every thing was very good. Best tea and scones we've ever had. Would definitely go back.

I went here with my husband and baby for afternoon tea. Baby slept the whole time in his stroller and we shared a large communal table with others. The room is gorgeous. We stopped here on a walking tour to see the original apothecary woodwork and Tiffany stained glass, and we had to come back to try the food. There's... More
