Where to start? The food was fresh and healthy, but not your every day choices. Our server was delightful...a student from Savannah College of Art & Design. And the decorating of the tea room was beautiful and unique. A wonderful experience from start to finish!

The tea room is a very nice corner building with plenty of character. If this is your first afternoon tea you will not be diss appointed. Although they fall short of authenticity, they have fine attentive staff, who work hard to make the occasion pleasing.. The food is very nice, and good value.

Beautifully appointed, attentive servers, great food. You can get high tea, tea with sweets, or meals. We had the spicy noodle salad, the chicken salad, various other lunches, and it was just delicious. What a wonderful place for a shower or a romantic date!

My husband and I had lunch at the Gryphon during our visit to Savannah. It is owned by SCAD, and I believe all the staff are SCAD students. The food was excellent, presentation was impeccable, the portions were large, and the staff was friendly. What more can I say! We would definitely go back.

This restaurant is part of the training school for SCAN students. When you walk in you will be taken back by the beautiful tiffany lighting fixture and all the books. the history of the location is quite interesting. We were seated and our waiter was a student from France who came all the way to Savannah to experience working at... More

We had a delightful Sunday brunch here. The food is excellent and the atmosphere just can't be beat. The place is a cross between a university library and an old apothecary shop. There are numerous sofas and coffee tables where you can enjoy tea as well as regular tables. Well located in the midst of tourist attractions. Somehow this place... More

My husband surprised me with a trip to Grryphon Tea Room, I had high Tea, he had an absolutely delicious Salmon club sandwich. High Tea was very nice with traditional and tasty sandwiches, scone and several small desserts. The tea was excellent. It is very hard to be a tea drinker when dining out, most restaurants use the water from... More

We decided to eat at Gryphon after stopping inside during an architectural tour. I was traveling with family on a girl’s weekend and we got their tea, which was delicious. The atmosphere inside Gryphon is very unique. We were told it used to be an apothecary, and still has the shelving units and stained glass windows from its former days.... More

Was excited to have afternoon tea with my mom. After reading the reviews, couldn't wait! I don't know if we were on a down day or because it was near closing, but I was sorely disappointed. We had chai tea and scones with jam and cream. The tea was great, presented in tea pot, and nice tea cups, nice tea... More

We were driving through Savannah on our way to Miami and choose this place without knowing anything about it. It is in a converted pharmacy store and decorated in a comfortable, quirky style (check out the wall to wall leopard carpeting). The wait staff is mostly composed of art students from the art school across the street. I started with... More
