We went two days in a row, and found that we were not alone in making repeat visits. The menu listed flavors of ice cream for September, so presumably it changes month by month. Tastings are available for those of us that have trouble making up our minds. The woman in line behind me recommended the pistachio. It did have... More

We went and stood in line to try this ice cream that everyone had been telling us about while in town. Yummy!!! And worth the wait! Lines move pretty fast so don't let that scare you away. We had the coconut and mocha chocolate chip. Delish! Definitely a new favorite place!

Wife had the coconut ice cream. She says it was the best ice cream she has ever had! I don't eat ice cream but the atmosphere was cool and I enjoyed seeing her enjoy the ice cream :)

This is by far the most historically known eatery in Savannah. It was mentioned to us at least 3 times on our stay. THE place to get ice cream. And if you time it just right, you will not have to wait in line. But more than likely you will but for good reason. Flavors of classic as well as... More

My son and I stopped in for lunch and ice cream. The chicken salad sandwich was great. The ice cream even better. I highly recommend the pistachio ice cream.

Excellent homemade sandwiches--chicken salad; pimento cheese; egg salad; and BLT sandwiches for our group. And of course "melt in your mouth" delicious ice cream!

You have got to get ice cream at Leopold's when visiting Savannah. I had a scoop of chocolate and banana ice cream - a great combination. The wife had lavender - she says it was unusual but very good.

We have a couple of creameries where we live where we can get home-made ice cream direct from the dairy. We thought they were good but when we were totally blown away when went to Leopold's. This was seriously good ice cream and the pistachio was the best we have EVER had. I would call this a can't miss, must-do... More
