I am only sorry we waited until the last night to try out Leopold's, but then again, my waistline was probably spared as a result. This was some of the best ice cream my husband and I had in a very long time if not ever. Try the Huckleberry Cheesecake, my mouth waters everytime I think of it. more
Great service and delicious dessert. My husand had a malt which he said was perfect not too much not too little malt. I had an old fashioned banana split, everything a banana split should be. more
Great place to visit for ice cream and to learn the history of Leopold. It wasn't the best ice cream I've ever had but I enjoyed it nonetheless. more
Lots of character, a great selection of ice cream desserts and sodas. People were really friendly and the ice cream was creamy, fresh and didn't have ice crystals from not being kept at a constant temp. Really enjoyed it. more
The peanut butter chippy is delicious so is the coffee chip and mocha chip. more
Got ice cream from here twice, four of us trying different things each time. The caramel swirl was great, butter pecan declared delicious, coconut excellent, cinnamon good, and the tutti fruity yummy. Got the kiddie cone the 2nd time because the small cone is actually pretty large. Very friendly service, and an attractive, old fashioned feel. Very cute. more
I had seen a special on television about "must dos" on the Georgia coast. Leopold's was listed. We were definitely not disappointed. We went for dessert our first night in Savannah and grabbed lunch and dessert (the ice cream is AMAZING) again on the way out of town. Wonderful time! more
