What great ice cream!!! The only downside was the long line, but I can hardly fault the restaurant for its popularity! The cream was the best I have had and the soda-shop atmosphere was nice. Pick a Flavor and enjoy! I dated several double scoop combinations but have been going steady with Chocolate and Coconut for sometime now. Lines can be long during touristy seasons but it's worth the wait.

Leopold's is close to much of what you want to see in Savannah. They have sandwiches and great ice cream. The service is fast and very friendly. They have seasonal flavors that are worth sampling at least. My wife had their huckleberry. It was very good. I had the chocolate chocolate chip shake. Very good. Their labels weren't all correct... Nostalgic. Service is fast and efficient. You have so many choices for the ice cream and milk shakes. Lots of toppings available for your ice cream. You may want to visit more than one time to try different flavors.

Leopold's ice cream is awesome. The line can extend down the street, but well worth the wait. It was over 100 degrees the day we were there and thankfully the line was not that long. The lines move quickly and the people that work there are super friendly. It's definitely a stop while visiting Savannah.

Leopold's is wonderful place to beat the hot Savannah summer for a minute. The wait staff were very friendly and did not mind to share the history of this iconic ice cream parlor. Leopold's utilizes the same recipes since the 1900's when the two brothers strted it.

The line was long, but the ice cream and service was worth the wait. They messed up our order, so gave us the mistake, and the correction for just the price of one.

Service was friendly but while my ice cream was good enough my boyfriend's one seemed to be coffee instead of chocolate and mint, as he had ordered. Probably a little overpriced but sizes were really large. Room to improve.

The place evokes of an ice cream business of the past with the old-fashioned soda, all glass dishes, and movie posters all over the place. Lines can be long, but they move fast. Plus that way it gives you time to look at the speciality menu to pick out the unique flavour that they're offering that month. I've been meaning... More
