We had seen this place on the travel channel. As we were in Savannah for the day we wanted to try it. The ice cream was good but not something that deserved the hype it was given. The cream was so soft it was melting as soon as they put it in the glass container.

There was a line when we got there but worth the wait. Homemade ice cream taste. The chocolate raspberry was super yummy. Their tutti frutti is a must try. Definitely recommending this if you are in the area!

in more ways than one! The ice cream was amazing! Smooth and creamy and flavorful...I could eat it everyday if I lived here...also the sandwiches were very tasty too..big and hearty. Super fast line and staff too...definitely a must stop in Savannah especially in the warm months.

We had a late dinner there with pimento cheese sandwiches and ice cream for dessert. The sandwiches are delicious with a very old fashioned home made taste. There are many flavors of ice cream that are unusual. It is all made in house and very good.

Maybe you have to be an ice cream connoisseur to really appreciate great ice cream. I was tempted to have dessert first but chose the soup and 1/2 sandwich first. The sandwich was made with great wholesome, whole grain bread and had an overly generous serving of filling. I was glad that I had opted for the half sandwich as... More

Everyone asked if we had been to Leopolds yet,so we had try it. There was a short line, but the wait was worth it. The ice cream has a real homemade taste. The favors are wonderful and they give free samples to taste. It reminds me of the ice cream parlors of old. The pistachio is perfect and so is... More

We didn't have to wait long... they have lots of choices of ice cream. The staff was super and helpful. But... the ice cream was not exceptional. Don't get me wrong, it was good and we enjoyed it. But not good enough to go out of our way and stand in line. Good prices too.

Was in town and gave it another try. A honest try. Place still is nothing to rave about. Ice cream is average at best. Service is nothing special. I've done it twice will not do it again. Isn't worth the wait, the taste or the cost.

Delicious ice cream, perhaps the best I have ever had. Friendly staff, pleasant decor, Leopolds has it all. I would say that if you are going to make a single stop in Savannah, this is it!

What can I say? All flavors were wonderful! A nice little treat whenever I had a break! The butter pecan was particularly good!
