Visited this local Japanese stop on a whim walking around downtown Savannah. Sushi is a family favorite and we were hoping for some satisfying rolls. A bit skeptical walking in (not much to the atmosphere), we were offered some unique sushi choices. All five of us placed our own orders, me taking some advice from the waitress. The food came... I really enjoyed the sushi. I was happy to see some interesting combinations that weren't familiar from other sushi restaurants I've been to. We tried four rolls- Blue Hawaiian, Savannah Sunrise, Savannah Beach, and a fresh vegetable roll. The Savannah Beach roll was my favorite. We were here for a late lunch, and the restaurant wasn't very crowded, and the... More

Upon the return of my new order, I was served the exact same fish, only to be recooked. When ask is this the same fish,... More

It was our first visit and we thoroughly enjoyed reading the creatively named rolls (e.g. Sex On The Beach Roll, Kissing Cousins Roll). The server was efficient and offered suggestions as to popularity of rolls. We were very pleased with the edamame appetizer … it was fresh and delicious, as was the broccoli tempura. Among the 4 of us, our... More

The quality of the sushi ranks near the top of other restaurants in Savannah (I highly recommend the Blue Hawaii roll). The only downside would be that you pay a little bit more for the location of the establishment (with this Wasabi's being located downtown).

Bento boxes, miso soup, sushi - all were delicious and fresh. Recommend the special sushi rolls and the sets that include salad.

I have been going to Wasabi's for years. The fish is always the freshest, highest quality around. It is a little more expensive than other sushi restaurants — but you get what you pay for. When it comes to raw fish, I find this very important. They also have a great sake selection and interesting specials that change often. My... More
