Delightful Brunch Location

We had a large bachelorette group for brunch on a Saturday, and the experience could not have been better! They were clearly busy (lots of large groups), but we were seated within 5 minutes of our reservation time at a great table. The service was fantastic (and very quick!), and the food was... read more

I was told that the pancakes here were good, my source could have said they are fantastic. I ate breakfast here twice just to have the pancakes both days. With really crisp bacon - tell no one because I shouldn't be eating bacon! I ordered the pc's with nuts and, boy, were they good. Light, airy, with that irregular surface... More

We were a little late for lunch but too early for dinner. The dining room inside was empty, but we wanted to eat outside. They have a couple of nice tables on the sidewalk. The traffic was a little noisy, but the food was really great. And the service was super.

I like the decor as was an old pub and still has a large bar area so at night I'm sure it's popping. I had the veggie scramble with a side of bacon (don't judge). The veggie scramble had spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes and goat cheese (I'm on vacation so forget I'm lactose intolerant), served over fried potatoes. Homemade biscuit and... More

Savannah has so many great restaurants that it gets hard to choose where to go. We made it for lunch and had high hopes. The fried green tomato & pimento cheese sandwich, the big b burger, and the shrimp and grits were average, the black-eyed pea cake sandwich was way to dense, and the parma proscuitto was too salty to... I ate brunch at B Matthews as was recommended by a local foodie. I had the eggs benedict and grits. Both were excellent. The service, as expected at most Savannah restaurants, was also exceptional. The ambiance is a bit loud but energetic with a younger crowd. It's located at a perfect location close to the river. Would visit again when... More

We ate at B. Matthews during Restaurant week and enjoyed a wonderful meal and cocktails. Service by Patrick was extremely attentive. A great restaurant in a great location. We'll eat there again.

We had breakfast and lunch there! Delicious and very convenient to walk to from The Bryce Hotel. A great local spot for casual dining.

Went here for breakfast based on Trip Advisor ratings/reviews. Perhaps we just caught them on a bad day but it took over an hour to get our two scrambled egg selections. Food finally came and it was lukewarm (probably sat by chef waiting to be delivered to our table) and that's a show stopper when it comes to breakfast/eggs. As... More

Thank you so much for your review, I am very sorry to hear that your visit was disappointing. It does sound like our kitchen may have gotten unusually behind, and I know that this week was extremely busy for us, but it is still no excuse to be left with luke warm food and no coffee. I hope that you... More
