No longer serves any food. No scones or clotted cream. Sigh... Tea was fair. Need to update website. People were friendly.
A friend and I were looking for a spot where we could linger over some lighter fare while catching up. We chose The Tea Room and were not disappointed. We ordered the house recommended tea, Emperor's Bride. The tea was served at the perfect temperature and was fruity light and delicious. We each had a dessert with our tea; a... More
In a country that craves coffee, it was such a pleasure to find a genuine tearoom during our travels. The tea was first-rate - and made just the way we requested - and the accompanying sandwiches and scones with real cream were a delight. It was such an enjoyable indulgence in the three days we spent in gorgeous Savannah. Thank... More
So sad to hear that the Savannah Tea Room's lovely restaurant will close next week. Some of my best dining experiences with dear friends and family have taken place here and we'll remember the dishes of Chef Andre fondly. It's some consolation that the shop will remain open, but we will dearly miss the scones and clotted cream and this... More
I was so excited when my husband agreed to lunch here before our week in Savannah was over! We had a full service lunch tea and we both loved it. The soup was amazing. The ladies up front were very knowledgeable and recommended some wonderful choices for us to bring home. Try out a cup of "The Holy Grail".

After a slight hesitation regarding the timing, we were seated and were able to enjoy a nice pot of tea and a serving of scones with clotted cream and jam. The tea was very good (well, we are boring and chose English Breakfast) and the scones... More
We are staying down the road from this lovely tea shop. We came across it and only wished we had known about it before and had room for one of their delectable afternoon teas with finger sandwiches, cream tea with scones and cake.....the works! We had the Earl Grey white tip tea, which was brewed to perfection.
This is a wonderful place for a "girls lunch". Tables are well spaced to allow for conversation. The chefs special is a superb way get to taste both the soup and the sweets as well. Great place, and so pretty with the antique tea services too!
My experience at the Tea Room was ok at best. I waited a while to be seated and was finally seated by a young guy in a t-shirt. I ordered tea and scones, while the tea was good, the scones were odd, only after I was served and ate one did the waiter mention they were white chocolate, cinnamon and... More
