Let me qualify this review by saying that I was there for lunch and not for dinner. The service was excellent and the food was very good but I thought it was a bit on the pricey side for lunch. When I asked about a "lunch menu", I was told that it was the same menu for lunch and dinner.... More

Ate here for lunch and the Greek salad was perfect. Calamari with a side of potatoes and rice & peas with lemon cream sauce was fabulous. Gyro sandwich was nothing to write home about but was good. Would eat here again.

Pros: Convenient in River Street area. Cons: We visited on two occasions. The first was when it was really hot and we stopped in for a piña colada slushie. We were debating adding rum but decided against it. Gentleman behind counter kind of made us feel foolish, and we felt a little pressured to. So we did, and I swear... More

Nothing to look at from the outside, just a corner restaurant on River Street. But step inside to atmosphere, friendliness, great food and wonderful view. NIce menu with reasonable prices. Worth a visit

This is a gem that might not catch your eye. Do not let the unassuming decor and the many riverfront dives nearby fool you. This place serves delicious food cooked with true Greek tradition. Go for the appetizers, go for the fish, say you will get desert but you may not have room. Add the small Greek salad to your... More

My wife and I decided to eat dinner on River Street. We are local residents and I am a tour guide here in Savannah. We chose the Olympia Cafe and we were not disappointed. We had the snapper and could not have made a better choice. Our waiter, Harrison , did a great job in getting our food to our... More

I came here for dinner while in town for medical conference. I ordered a Gyro appetizer which I split with my colleague. He was very good the meet was very tender. The tomatoes refresh and I enjoyed it. I then ordered the sofa lucky dinner and replaced fries with the rice and peas. This was very good. The meat was... More

Went to Olympia on recommendation of hotel clerk. Great choice. We love Greek food and this was better and more authentic than most. Being light eaters we went with a variety of appetizers and finished with a great Greek salad. Tried the calamari, roasted red pepper on feta and the flambéed cheese and more Greek salad. We returned for lunch... More

I have been to this restaurant many times and find this restaurant works for meat eaters and vegetarians alike. I can vouch for the awesome Greek Salad, the small one is quite big enough for me and the over generous gyro dinner and fabulous bread, this is a fraction of what they have to offer. It is great for couples,... More

Came for a quick lunch while in town for a conference. I did the express side and got the veggie gyro. Came out hot and the sauces was delicious with the vegetables. Nice staff and was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Nice little place to go!
