This place was not too busy when we got there for lunch but it looked like it would be more by evening. Great food and really neat location. We sat outside on the deck in back. Being Paula Deen fans, we were anticipating the food and it was just as we thought..... really, really good! more

We ate outside on a beautiful October day about 2:30 p.m.. They were not really busy, our service was good, food was cooked to perfection--fried fish, seafood gumbo, portions were adequate. Uncle Bubba's was the highlight of our trip to Savannah for me. The Char grilled oysters were the best! I wish I could get those around home. The entire experience was great. The other seafood was fresh and prepare perfectly. We will be going back next year for more food! more

This restaurant is somewhat "off the beaten path" but worth the drive. We found out about it because we had a coupon from Lady & Sons (Paula Deen's restaurant). Bubba is evidently Paula Deen's brother. We sat outside and the view was awesome. The service was not the best but okay. The food was wonderful. more
