My husband and I love going to downtown Savannah for a day out. We live in Richmond Hill, about 30 minutes away. And while we have been to Moon River before I don't think I have ever rated it. While we always try to go to a different restaurant when we are down there Moon River is a never fail.... More

Came in here on a Friday for lunch and was sadly disappointed with the overall experience. We ordered the fried green tomatoes and the nachos and were underwhelmed. The nachos were burned and the tomatoes had a very thick, tough outer coating. The most enjoyable part was definitely the beer. I would come back here solely for the bar and... More

Went in and had a flight. The beer was sub-par, as I expected much more after reading reviews of it. Beer seemed warmer than it should have been. The price was good for the flight but as the beer was unimpressive, it didn't matter. We went back that night for the New Belgium "meet the brewer" event in their beer... More

We had the eight beer sampler first to see which was our favorite. After determining our favorite we each ordered a cold glass of brew and enjoyed the tortilla chip appetizer which was awesome. We then took our second beer(s) to go and walked down on River Street and watched the ships go up and down the river. I highly... More

Great beer and the amazing story of the building, and totally haunted! Have the hostess or waitress tell you the history of the building from the 1800s. You can go into the basement and look around and ask the hostess to show you the 2nd floor. So creepy!

We got to Savannah around noon after driving all morning and the first thing we did was stop at "the most haunted" building in the city. No ghost sightings, but the open-face crab sandwich and scalloped potatoes were phenomenal. Awesome food is definitely a good way to start a trip.

we used this as the reception for my daughters wedding. She had a destination wedding in Savannah and this place was kind enough to accommodate us. We had a special area in the basement very nice. The bar keep and waitress were awesome. They told our 12 year olds ghost stories about the old restaurant. Cool . They loved it.... More

I travel 30-40 days a year for business and personal. I see the best in service and the worst. The service here was poor. It was at shift change, between 4-5. We were ignored but then when new staff came in, things got better. The nachos were huge and the beer was very good.

The outdoor beer garden is the bomb here. We really liked that the "tv" was projected on the brick wall. Given Savannah's persnickety rain proclivity you might think that an actual patio cover would serve better than just the pergola but I suppose the pergola lets the steamy heat escape. Service was mediocre.

Went on a Thursday night. Service was terribly slow. All the food didn't come out at once. Was very disappointed.
