We first visited the biergarten and the bartenders were great and the biergarten had plenty of tables and a projection TV onto the side of the building that must have been 50+ feet. It was family friendly and still a good biergarten feel. We also ate/drank inside two days later because we enjoyed it so much the first time. The... More

The camembert and leek appetizer was one of the best things we ate on our recent trip. I liked the Slow-vannah IPA a lot, too.

A great place to stop in on our weekend trip to Savannah. Got to taste some of their delicious beer and eat some good ol' pulled pork n' coleslaw, delish! An added benefit, the ghost stories that come out of that place! So much fun :) Our server was very friendly and very knowledgable about all the different types of... More

We went to Moon River predominately because my daughter is really into local craft beers. We had the Yoga Pants and the Wheat Ale (can't remember this ones name). Both were very tasty! We had a beautiful day so we ate in the Biergarten. This is right on the corner facing the riverfront so the people watching opportunities are great.... More

We stopped in Savannah on our way to Florida and found this brewery. It had a nice garden/outdoor eating area, good beer and good food. We stopped with our family, and if was a great choice. The food was well priced, cooked well, and the service was great. I don't like giving 5/5 on places, because I feel like it... More

This place is pretty big. There's an outdoor beer garden, that I wandered out to for a few minutes. A football game was being projected onto the exterior wall. There's a basement, that I saw a ghost tour go into for a very long time. As for the main floor it has multiple areas surrounding the bar. The flights of... More

Great place for a beer and a casual meal. We ordered two appetizers and one entrée for the meal and it was too much food. The fried camembert with leak and shrimp with sausage ravioli (I know, who would have thought of that) both were outstanding. We also had the Creole over rice - chicken and sausage - also very... We only went in for the drinks and to play pool. There was live music playing which set a pretty cool ambiance. None of the people, nor myself, are huge beer drinkers. But we tried all different types of beers with weird names. It was pretty fun. We tasted a wide range of beers from dark to light and from... More

We dined here twice on a recent visit to Savannah. The first evening we opted for fried green tomatoes with crab salad and cusabi sauce. Just one word, "wow." The fried green tomatoes were topped with huge scoops of crab meat, the breading wasn't overdone, over-the-top or greasy, and the cusabi sauce was fantastic. We would definitely recommend this over... More

We visited Moon River mainly because they were featured on Ghost Hunters. Yet we have returned for the 3rd time today after being in town for only 9 days. Ambiance was comfortable and spirited. Service was good. We had the green tomatoes with lump crab salad on top of each tomato. The green tomatoes were nice and crunchy but the... More
