Great Beer - awful service - average food

We did a flight of beer and really enjoyed them. My husband's favorite was Apparition Pale Ale, which is an unusual choice for him. I loved both the Captain's Porter and The Bomb, a dry Irish stout. The hummus was very good. Our sandwiches were average. The service was horrible. Several tables had... read more

Visited on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at around 8:30. Understandably it was a packed house on the outside patio. Crowd was lively and it looked very inviting. We chose to sit inside to avoid a wait. It was HOT inside- warmer than outside. No breeze and apparently no AC. Waiter was excellent. Very knowledgeable about menu and beer selection! Food... More

I visit moon river brewery on January 2015. The weather was cold, but not stop us for a beer testing ñ. I recommend the beer garden for a stop and go. The restaurant is a most to visit. Highly recommended.

Three out of the 5 of us were not happy at all with food. I realize this is a brewing company and it was 10 PM when we walked in. My son and daughter-in-law ordered crab cakes. Both pushed dish away after a couple of bites and complained of funny taste. My husband's burger was cooked to leather consistency. The... More

I'm not sure if I was just really hungry or what, but the food here was amazing. The food was better than the beer, I thought. Ate the Stuffed Mushrooms, Bayou Shrimp, Bacon & Swiss Chicken Sandwich w/ buffalo sauce, and Gouda escalloped potatoes. Every bite was delicious.

The highlight of this brewery (assuming the weather cooperates) is definitely the outdoor beer garden. It's large and dog-friendly, and the brewery has a diverse selection of their own beers, plus other regional beer options. On the downside, the outdoor area is on a busy street, so noise from cars, buses, etc. can be a distraction.

Had a nice experience, helpful recommendations from the waiter, Paul. He also warned of the Creole dishes being very spicy, but they weren't all that hot. Onion rings seem to come with all the meals. The selection of small brews was just right - not too many to confuse, not to few to feel confined. The layout of the rooms... More

Apparently this is one of the most haunted places in Savannah. I had the pecan storm while my husband sampled their beer. We shared the garlic fries....so GOOD but you better like garlic! Friendly bar staff, clean restrooms.
