We were staying at Planters Inn next door and went into The Olde Pink House to make reservations. While we were there four buses full of tourists came into the restaurant. It seemed like endless people coming in. It made us suspect of the food quality so we canceled our reservations. more

My husband and I ate at The Olde Pink House on July 10th. We had a quiet table for 2 in the upstairs ballroom. The atmosphere was excellent, service very attentive and food was delicious. We were greeted promptly by our server and another staff member brought over great corn muffins. We appreciated the well paced service that allowed us... more

This is the best restaurant in Savannah as far as I am concerned. I had the flounder in an apricot and shallot sauce along with grits and collards. The key lime pie was also excellent. The waiter, D. was very good. He gave us a history of the house with all the ghost details. We ate in the tavern, but... more

Admittedly I did not have a chance to try too many high-end restaurants on my stay, but the food at the Old Pink House was consistently superb. I was staying just around the corner, so I was lucky to get a place in the bar area when I dropped by on a Saturday night. The service was extremely solicitous, knowledgeable,... more

Make reservations or take your chances down stairs in the bar. Either way you will not be disappointed. I had never heard of fried lobster tail before my visit to Savannah, but now I don't think I can eat it any other way. Souther cooking with flare. more

Me and my wife just got back from Savannah. Of all the meals we had in Savanna, this was by far the best. The house itself is very charming. I tried the flounder based on the reviews, and it did not disappoint. My wife had the pecan chicken and loved it. We also had the salad with all of the... more

We visit from Boston and have noticed a slow deterioration in the food quality over the years. Service is still top notch, but the real reason we visit, the meal was, well, horrible. Wife's steak sent back three times; too rare, too well done, third un-chewable. My fish dry and tasteless. The entrees probably cost 70-75 dollars. $68 to $73... more

I've had the opportunity to dine here twice now. Once for dinner, once for lunch. Once 10 years ago, once this month. My memory of the wonderful time we had the first time we visited served me well, because the food and the atmosphere were wonderful again. The service was impeccable -- we came in looking like drowned rats because... more

My husband and I made reservations for our anniversary. The table was ready for us when we arrived and the server was attentive and friendly. For the appetizer we had the lump crab hush puppies, I had the Pan Seared Yellowfin tuna and my husband had the fried lobster tails. The meal was absolutely delicious. For desert we shared a... more
