Our go-to spot

Savannah is a destination and part of trips to North GA to drive fun roads. And when we stop Churchills's is one of our go-to spots. This time I had the steak and ale pie and it did NOT disappoint. Tender meat, perfect crust, and just moist with gracy not swimming in it.

Churchills is a great place to meet. Easy to find, pub area has a great bar and some tables, pub menu is great. Restaurant is a little more formal but very relaxed. Service is terrific and the fish and chips are awesome! Prices are excellent.

This place serves food late on Sunday's; which is awesome if you were too busy and didn't eat before the other places closed. The food is okay, pub food, but it's better than nothing at all. They don't serve shellfish so if you have a shellfish allergen, this is the place to eat. It's close to River Street and the... More

Got off my flight, starving, and went to churchill's for a bite. The kitchen is open relatively late, and the food is very good. I had a roast beef sandwich and hubby had fish and chips. We both said we'd eat only half when we ordered because it was late and pub food can be heavy - but of course,... More

I love traditional British-style pubs, and this one did not disappoint! We were here for dinner, and it wasn't too terribly crowded. The steak and ale pie was terrific and meaty! The only thing that would have made the pie better is if the meat had been braised with Guinness as opposed to Bass. :) Thoroughly enjoyed our meal here.

My husband and I stop here for drinks. They have the best beer selection! I'm not big on desserts, but they have an Irish Cream Cheesecake that is TO DIE FOR! Also....if you like coffee, you MUST try to Gaelic Storm! Jameson, Bailey's, Amaretto, Creme de Cocoa, sugar and whipped cream coffee. So cozy, warm and perfect to end your... More

We decided to try this restaurant/pub because we had eaten a lot of seafood and wanted a change. It was within walking distance of our hotel(Cotton Sail) and we were very pleased. The decor is dark wood and plaid wallpaper, giving the feel of a British Gentleman's Club. Many beers on tap were available and the menu was varied, would please anyone. We had Curry and... My husband and I were walking along the river and had seen Churchill's Pub. We were getting hungry so we stopped in for some drinks and sandwiches! Very good service and the sandwiches were very good. I liked the atmosphere and would go back!

We stopped in here for dinner after walking the city on a hot afternoon. We were hungry but didn't want a big heavy meal. We were glad to see that they offered small plates with lesser portions. We each ordered a salad and a small plate, and had the perfect amount of food. My husband enjoyed his wedge salad, and... More
