Wide choice of food on the menu but it all turned out to be rather average. We had steak and ale pie which was casseroled beef in a dish with a piece of pastry plonked on top- not really a pie and it was heavily overly salted. Crab cake was ok but didn't hold together well, rather soft and almost... More

My husband & I walked right in for a late (9pm) dinner on a Friday night and didn't have to wait for a table. The atmosphere is awesome, very British! There were many beers and ales on tap, including some interesting combinations you wouldn't expect -- I'll leave those for others to describe as I'm no alcohol connoisseur. My hubby... More

Stopped here for a quick bite to eat. I had a small plate of ribs and they were excellent. Rarely do I eat ribs with a fork but the meat just fell right off the bone. There is a good selection of beers with a fair price.

We turned up a bit late as we got delayed on the way but our waitress was very pleasant and got us seated and our order taken in quick time. Our fear was we would get a less than satisfactory meal because of the late hour but instead got very tasty hot food that far exceeded what we expected. The... More

On the 15th September after a lovely meal on the riverfront me my brother mom and dad decided to go for a drink at this British pub as we come from England ourselves. After getting greeted and seen to a table the whole family wanted and an alcoholic beverage, at this point me and my brother were asked for our... More

Cod smelled and tasted TOO FISHY! Asked manager to please replace cod with just half of a sandwich I could enjoy. He promptly said no, he could ADD A WHOLE SANDWICH to our ticket if I'd like something else. What a jerk. So I left hungry :( Waiter was nice, said he was sorry over the food issue.

Thought we would visit here as it was pouring with rain and this was local to our hotel. On entering it was just like walking into an old traditional English pub, unfortunately when we were shown to our table it was extremely noisy(one certain party) and very busy. We ordered our food but wished we hadn't as the noise level... More

Friendly attentive staff, superb food. Great craft beer selection. One of the best burgers around. Beef and Yorkshire Pudding is worthy of Henry VIII. You've lost your head if you go anywhere else.

As a local, I'm surprised it took me this long to make it here. Being a pub on Bay street, I had low expectations, and really was expecting the same old Savannah tourist trap. I was happily proven wrong. The interior is gorgeous, and the rooftop is an amazing little secret. I got to try their french onion soup, which... More
