Visited there over the July 4th holiday. Nice funky atmosphere with no 2 tables the same. Great menu and service! I recommend the Catfish BLT! Yes...bacon makes everything better!

Great fried chicken, great everything! 5 people, 5 different meals and every body's was delicious. Great service, nice people and clean. The prices were affordable, so we had out of this world desert. Worth every calorie.

My sister and I visited Savannah and we ate at Sweet Potatoes! Seriously,, it was one of the best meals that I had ever eaten! I've eaten at some great restaurants but his was probably the top 5 best meals! I had the fried fish, sweet potato fries, and red beans and rice with a biscuit. If you like southern... More

My daughter found this place online. The food was absolutely amazing and the prices were very reasonable. We ate there 2 days in a row it was so good! The fish dishes (salmon and tilapia) were cooked to perfection and the Banana pudding was incredible!

Everything was wonderful … service was great, menu was interesting (in a good way), price was right … it couldn't have been better ! We had the jerk chicken and jerk pork with black eye pea relish and sweet potato mash. Came with the freshest biscuit I've ever had. Best jerk I've had since I lived in Jamaica. I will... More

Dined here with three other family members and the service and food was excellent. Definitely have a sweet potato on the side, and also have the banana pudding dessert. I had the pork chops which were a bit overcooked but still tasty.

This is about the third time I have eaten here from being out of town, in town on business. It was not as good tonight as in past. The food was just luke warm and I had the fried shrimp and just not a good light batter. Plus, it was a little hot inside. The service was good. Just so... More

We chose to go to this location based on the ratings we saw on Trip Advisor. It was ranked in the top five in Savannah based on reviews. It was a casual atmosphere, which we appreciated since we have a little one, but we found the food very average. The sweet potatoes were excellent (probably the best I've ever had),... More

Went on Tuesday for the fried chicken. Everything was delicious - tea wasn't too sweet, sweet potato had just enough butter, and the chicken - the best! It was moist, spiced just right, and more than I could finish. We also had the okra with tomatoes and my husband had sweet potato fries - so good. We were both too... More

My husbands cousins( who live in Savannah) took us to this restaurant, walking into what seemed to be a very cheerful combination of. brightly colored painted walls and a very happy atmosphere... seemed like the waitresses and the cooks were singing along to the background music playing.....Billy Holliday, Etta James were some of the music choices.. Very nostalgic.....I want that... More
