Dined here with three other family members and the service and food was excellent. Definitely have a sweet potato on the side, and also have the banana pudding dessert. I had the pork chops which were a bit overcooked but still tasty.

This is about the third time I have eaten here from being out of town, in town on business. It was not as good tonight as in past. The food was just luke warm and I had the fried shrimp and just not a good light batter. Plus, it was a little hot inside. The service was good. Just so... More

We chose to go to this location based on the ratings we saw on Trip Advisor. It was ranked in the top five in Savannah based on reviews. It was a casual atmosphere, which we appreciated since we have a little one, but we found the food very average. The sweet potatoes were excellent (probably the best I've ever had),... More

Went on Tuesday for the fried chicken. Everything was delicious - tea wasn't too sweet, sweet potato had just enough butter, and the chicken - the best! It was moist, spiced just right, and more than I could finish. We also had the okra with tomatoes and my husband had sweet potato fries - so good. We were both too... More

My husbands cousins( who live in Savannah) took us to this restaurant, walking into what seemed to be a very cheerful combination of. brightly colored painted walls and a very happy atmosphere... seemed like the waitresses and the cooks were singing along to the background music playing.....Billy Holliday, Etta James were some of the music choices.. Very nostalgic.....I want that... More

After reading the reviews on a Trip Advisor, we decided to try this place. Food was great. I had pot roast with garlic mashed potatoes and green beans. It was all wonderful! My husband had catfish with red beans and rice and okra. He said it was all good. The banana pudding was great but it would've been better if... More

Insanely good food. Went there two days in a row for their catfish blt and banana pudding - yeah it was that good. Suler friendly staff! Will definitely go again whenever in Savannah. The food was so good it even made me think about moving to Savannah for a moment

We visited Sweet Potatoes on our one evening in Savannah. We stayed at Skidaway Island State Park and it was an easy drive to the restaurant. Our server, Ashley, was very friendly and knowledgable about the menu. The prices were very reasonable, especially for the quality of food. I had the peach chicken that was amazing! My husband had the... More

This is a great eatery away from the tourist district where locals and in the know visitors eat. Excellent food at a fair price. Great from families to business people check out their interesting menu. It is as tasty as it sounds from salads thru desserts
