Great Southern food.

I loved the chocolate chip pecan pie. My companions enjoyed the banana pudding immensely. The shrimp and grits were very tasty. The server was lovely.

We searched Trip Advisor for a decent place to eat not too far from our hotel and came across this place. Turned out the other good reviews were absolutely true. They had delicious southern fare and a friendly atmosphere. My jerk pork was a tad dry, but the sweet potato mash, black-eyed pea relish and sauce made up for it.... More

we were wowed by this little place, not knowing quite what to make of soul food, as it's character seems to vary from atlanta north and south. perfect shrimp and grits, brussell sprouts, chilled asparagus and that head turning manner pudding. these biscuits were made for apple butter and while i didn't see any i am quite sure some has... I loved this place. The server was very helpful. My husband and I ordered the meatloaf and grilled pork chops. Our sides were Stewed okra, sweet potato fries, zucchini and black Eyed peas. Everything was really good. And definitely get the banana pudding, it was sooo yummy.

We stopped by Sweet Potatoes on a road trip to NYC from FL. The place doesnt look like much on the outside but give it a try. The food was amazing, very southern. Services was excellent as well. Would totally go there again.

Our first trip to Savannah. We brought my parents to celebrate my mother's 80th Birthday. We found this restaurant on trip The food was homecooked and delicious. Our waitress was friendly and attentive.

A place for locals. That is how we found it. Great pulled turkey salad with pecans and cranberries. Also great side dishes such as lemon collards and garlic mashed potatoes. Several sweet potato dishes, including sweet potato pie. There can be a wait unless you go early. Very interesting place at very fair prices

While visiting Savannah on a Saturday we visited Sweat Potatoes based upon reviews we had read. We were not disappointed. Our meals were very good. The service was friendly and speedy. We will return when in the area.

Went with wife and grandson. Wife has raved abt SPs for months. Ok, killer good. As in "you need no teeth to eat our beef." Order the pot roast and close your eyes. "Grandma, how did your tender pot roast end up in Savannah?" Oh yeah, that good. With a biscuit and sweet potato. Sweet Tea and collard greens. Man,... More
