Excellent chicken dishes and sweet potatoes in Savannah

The food was wonderful!!! I had the pot roast, which was cooked to perfection. This a great place and doesn't break the bank. Definitely will be back!

Although it doesn't look like much from the outside the food and the service were great. Would go back in a heartbeat. The banana pudding is the best ever. Don't miss it.

Hubby and I stopped in here for lunch on our first day in Savannah. Very laid back causal atmosphere, super friendly wait staff. We decided on the Buffalo Shrimp Po'boy, Corn Casserole, beans and rice and Banana Pudding.... from the first bite to the last I was in heaven! Homemade without a question! Loved it!

First, make sure you leave room for the banana pudding. OMG! I have never liked lima beans since I was a kid until now. Made with dill they were great. And the sweet potato salad was amazing. I had the Pecan Crusted chicken breast. Another winner. My wife had the veggie plate. The beets were excellent as was the cole... More

Recommended as one of the top ten cheat eats in Savannah, we made the drive from downtown tonight to check it out. The ambiance was bright and cheery, and it was busy. Instead of eating at the bar we opted to wait for a table. The hostess was very kind and accommodating, and we were seated within 15 minutes. We... More

The wife and I are in Savannah for a week vacation. This place is great we wanted a good southern dinner for a fair price. This is the place away from all the snotty overpriced area! Want great food and great price! Hit this place up worth the drive and the staff is also awesome!

Delicious! Not a fancy place like the Olde Pink House or Elizabeth on 37th, but what matters is that they have delectable southern and Caribbean food, reasonable prices and friendly service. I had the Jerk Pork and absolutely loved it! You have probably already read the reviews of the Banana Pudding; It's all true! It is delicious and the best... More

The drive was a little longer from Hilton Head than we thought it would be, but definitely worth it. From the warm welcome to the careful packing of the leftovers, the staff was cheerful and very helpful. Our server was friendly and smiling, and gave a menu overview before we ordered. Her suggestions were helpful, but not intrusive. Food was... More

Came all the way from Vancouver Canada for some southern comfort food and was not disappointed. Food was amazing and so was the staff. Definite must visit and you can't beat the price! 10/10!!!
