Good Indian food

We eat here once a month. The restaurant is family friendly and very clean. We have never had a bad meal or any service issues. A very easy location and plenty of parking.

I had an intense craving for Indian food while we were in town, so we chose this restaurant based on previous reviews. Upon entering the restaurant, we were pleased by the decor- beautiful black and gold Indian style tables and chairs, the decadent wall hangings and soft lighting. Strangely though, when we were seated, my husband broke into a coughing... More

Glad we found this colorful restaurant that has great Indian food. Extensive menu and they are good at explaining. Even the appetizers were very good and the fellow explained the three basic sauces. Unlike many Indian restaurants, they have a good wine menu. The rice pudding seemed thrown together (like rice in almond milk with Kirsch) but in general, the meal... More

The menu is a bit large, but that means it included food that made my family member from Mumbai very happy. The tandoori chicken was also very moist and flavorful. The masala chair had a great ginger undertone.

Two families drove out of our way to have Indian cuisine while staying in Savannah. However, like most Indian restaurants they are 'Hit & Miss', this was no exception. The decor was nice, service was decent, however, it did not make up for the mediocre food. More than several food items must've been sitting there without change, and an awful... More

My wife and I like to go here on special occasions because it is always quiet and romantic. The food is wonderful, though the service may sometimes be slow. Regardless, this is one of my favorite spots to eat in town. The food is very authentic, and the music on the radio is always very relaxing. It is a great... More

the place looks very Indian when you walk in. The chairs are a bit uncomfortable but you adjust. The Na'an bread was amazing!! The garlic and cream cheese na'an are highly recommended! the food was authentic and the spice level was adjusted for each person by the kitchen. Overall a good Indian dining experience and would definitely go again!

Nice decor - good service and pretty good food. Compared to UK Indian Restaurants this would be a 3 star review but in the USA this one excels - especially the Byriani and Tandoori dishes. Would recommend if in Savannah and for some reason you didn't want traditional Southern Food.

We like Indian food. We had been here a number of years ago and tried it again since there are no other Indian places in Savannah as far as I know. The food tasted like it came out of a package. The flavors were not bursting like they should be.

I would like to think I have a fair knowledge of foods from other countries. From either travel or just being a foodie. My husband and I stopped here for a late lunch and they had a buffet. Let me start with the service plates. The table where you pick up a clean plate, has several small piles of cooked... More
