Billy's Place welcomed our new chef and new menu in August of 2013. We are open Tuesday - Saturday at 4:30PM. Billy's has live piano music every Wednesday through Saturday from 6 - 9PM. On Friday and Saturday nights our house jazz band perfoms from 9 - 12. We are on the 2nd floor, however we have elevator access. Join us at Billy's Place for a great all around dining experience.

White table cloths with snot green service.

Wife and I stopped in here at the request of Savannah Dan. We asked to sit at the bar where we received snooty look #1 from the hostess. The bartender tonight, don't know his name but he was the male bartender, proceeded to take our drink orders. My wife was looking over the drink list when he... read more

I had dinner with a group of friends. Service was wonderful, food great. Try the Fish & Chips. Billy's is considerably more "upscale" then McDonough's (downstairs) but both are good

My boyfriend and I have eaten at Billy's many times and have always had a wonderful time. Janice always greets us with a warm smile and a hug. Stephen serves our drinks exactly as we like them (vodka and soda with lime in a wine glass---not difficult but surprisingly hard for many bartenders to do!). Nancy plays the piano and... More

Savannah is a wonderful food town, but Billy's is the worst , most overpriced restaurant i have ever eaten in. We came in for Valentines dinner and all they offered was a 55.00 dollar per person 4 course meal. The meat was the lowest grade toughest cuts ( I ordered prime rib which was so bad that they replaced it... More

Went to dinner during Resturant Week and was very disappointed.we could only order from special menu. When asked for bread and butter was told "not during restaraurant week". Appetizer portions were ridiculously small. Two shrimp or three tiny stuffed mushrooms. Lobster ravioli was swimming in sauce. Ribeye steak was so thin it could have been anything but a steak. What... More

The food was poorly cooked, maybe because of the overly crowded space. The service was spacey at best, again due to the tables to staff ratio. They just try to do too much and end up doing it all poorly.

We decided to kick off restaurant week here last evening. It is close to our home, it was raining and we wanted to try a local place that we walked by many times without realizing it. I think we have found our `regular' dining choice. Billy's Place is charmingly satisfying with delicious food and a with a great lady at... More

Ate here last Saturday night and enjoyed a wonderful evening! We went there on Savannah Dan's recommendation as it was across the street from the Savannah Theater where we had tickets later that evening. Food was delicious, piano player was great, and our server, Darlene, was very attentive. But the best part of the night was when an elderly couple... More

I will admit it. I'm English and I like Pubs. However, some US bars that have Pub in their name should remove it. They have not discovered the essence of a good pub. McDonoughs is what a Brit would call the Public bar in a Public House. It is at street level and full of mainly local folk who are... More

Billy's place is a date night destination. Lovely ambience. Piano Bar adds to the dining pleasure. She crab soup, the best ever. Cowboy cut rib eye melted in our mouth. Three layer chocolate cake a treat. Complements to the Chef. A wonderful night out in "Ole Savannah Town".
