Beverages! Full disclosure: I typically get my beverages at McDonough's: Mr. Billy Lee's karaoke-strewn gigglepit beneath the crooning glamour of his namesake restaurant and bar. Billy's Place always struck me as the place he prided himself most on--the bowtie-wearing vestigial twin of McDonough's that couldn't survive without its sibling's cruder exterior. I avoided it in the past due to its... More

Our hotel recommended Billy's after we couldn't get into the Pink House for dinner. We thought the food, service, and live music were excellent.

We stopped in here for a couple of pints on a Sunday afternoon. The football games were on and had most people's attention, but it wasn't too rowdy. A lot of people seemed to know each other and we even met Billy! The beer selection wasn't bad, but they were out of one of the ones we wanted and had... More

My mother and I enjoyed a lovely dinner here ( though it does seem more of a place for romance.). We had the crab cake dinner..yum! The piano player was great too. The place is full of atmosphere and not any more expensive than other full service restaurants. Our entre was $22 and a class of wine was $ 7-12.... More

We ended up at Billy's Place despite my telling our concierge we wanted to have a light supper before going to the show at the Savannah Theater (which was great by the way). This was pretty much a bad experience all around with one exception--the live music was wonderful! The menu was all expensive, full meals and what we ordered... More

We are certainly sorry that you did not enjoy your dining experience with us. I can assure you that your concierge does not receive "kick backs" and that the reason you were referred to us is because Billy's Place is known for being an exceptional dining experience with our food, service and entertainment. I wish you had notified our server... More

We were looking for a place to dine b4 going to the theater....and what a delightful experience. Great food and entertainment. I would now pick this over the Pink House!

The food was amazing but my favorite was atmosphere. The piano player was great and I loved that the owner Billy Lee is there and ready to welcome and say hello to everyone!

We were going to the "Jukebox" review and the Savannah theatre and were looking for a restaurant in the general area so we could walk to the theatre after eating. Billy's was recommended. It is on the second floor and has an elevator. The hostess was personable but informed us that because of an oven issue we could only have... More

We are so very sorry for your experience at Billy's Place. Unfortunately the oven situation was something that we did rectify, but the day after you were there. We do also apologize for the level of service you received and assure you that it's not the "norm" at Billy's Place. Your input and comments are greatly appreciated and I hope... More

Stopped in for a late dinner and was satisfied with the food. The burger was very good and the beer was nice and cold. Seems like a good place to watch sports.

We wanted to clarify that you were indeed at Billy's Place or if you were at our sister restaurant and lounge at McDonough's. Billy's Place is located on the 2nd floor and McDonough's is a much more casual atmosphere than Billy's Place and is located on the 1st floor with a multitude of televisions. Each restaurant has a different menu... More

We've eaten at Billy's Place several times and the cuisine just keeps getting better (how do you get better with perfection?). What I am most impressed with is their new wine selection. They got some beautiful and reasonably priced wines to pair with any gorgeous dish they serve. The crab cakes are to DIE FOR!
