Six Pence is touted as the most authentic English Pub in Savanah, BUT ALAS they DO NOT have fish and chips on their menu. What’s up with that? (I was told later that I’d have go to Churchill’s Pub to get fish and chips.) Otherwise it was a very nice pub to have an English brew and some other pub... More

Very comfortable and cozy. A great place to stop into for a drink during a busy, cold day of shopping. The ambiance and decorations feel straight out of a small English village, where only the locals go to enjoy a good pint. Food was excellent too!

Located in downtown Savannah, this restaurant had some of the best french onion soup I have ever had ( and only $5.95). The corn beef sandwich was also outstanding. Combine this with reasonable prices, cold draft beer and great service and you have a winning combination. Do not pass this "local" spot while staying in Savannah.

When on the recommendation of a friend and had a wonderful meal, especially their pecan pie (it has chocolate chips) and it is wonderful. It's always busy and the service is very good.

This is the best pub in Savannah. I have stopped by on several evenings when traveling thru the area and never have I had a bad experience. The food is outstanding and the service is topnotch but the atmosphere is the reason I continue to return. I cannot pass this place by and if I am within 100 miles of... More

The food was excellent and the atmosphere was wonderful. The wait staff were attentive. I had the pork chops which were excellent and my wife had the fish and chips. We were very pleased, and will definitely return.

My wife and I both were displeased with our meals, and the waitress appeared genuinely concerned. They substituted without a problem.

Julie was astounding; She gave us the best attention and smiles and made great conversation. I loved the hospitality. The Christmas decorations were amazing and ended our weekend feeling satisfied!

I loved the loaded bangers. I could have eaten this as a meal. But I also had blackened pork chop sandwich and collards. Can you say awesome?

I would recommend the bangers and mash. The gravy was really good. Best pub I have been to in Savannah!!!
