Four of us dined here recently and had an enjoyable time. The wait staff was friendly, delivery of our meals was fast and was delicious. Very reasonably priced and there was something for everyone on the menu. We saw the show at the Savannah Theatre across the street following our meal. I'm highly recommending this restaurant for a good meal... More

After a hot August day walking around historical downtown Savannah, we stumbled across the Six Pence Pub (on Bull Street near Chippewa Square, with a red British phone booth on the corner) for a cold one. Coincidentally, it had been recommended to us by some folks with whom we had breakfast. We had a beer and continued on our way.... More

My husband and I stopped here for lunch today and we were very pleased. The Welsh Rarebit is a must try. The BLT and Pastrami were both delicious. The atmosphere was great and nicely decorated. Great music and staff. Cute phone booth outside on the corner. Good prices too. No complaints here.

Showed up with a party of 8 for dinner. Tried repeatedly to make a reservation but hey would not except one. No problem though when we got there they were able to accommodate us with out any wait. The food is just what you would expect from the name of the restaurant. The servers were friendly helpful and very attentive.... More

We had two meals here in a 4 day stay... being close to our hotel (Hilton) was a factor, but after the first visit we were glad to go back and took some friends with us. Very good British pub food and beer selection.

We had come into Savannah from Hilton Head on our home to Virginia (Wrong way, I know. We just can't stay away from Savannah.) We were planning on going to a restaurant on River Street, but when we could not find parking we went to a place we had taken pictures in front of last year. We were so glad... More

Food was excellent. Make sure to try the potato salad and bread pudding. Burgers and salads are very good too!

We enjoyed our lunch at the Six Pence Pub. The food was typical English fare with a Southern slant. I would definitely recommend it.

The salmon BLT is probably the best piece of salmon I have ever eaten. My sister got the nachos, it was a huge portion and very tasty. The waitress was very friendly and the restaurant was very cozy. Had two teens with us and it was very family friendly. I highly recommend it.

The menu wasn't very large, at least during lunch. Got the salad and sandwich deal. There really wasn't much special about it, just a ham sandwich. Fiancé got an artichoke soup which she said was pretty good. Service was fine, but not above and beyond. Overall, just average
