My husband and I thought this place was very charming. The decor and atmosphere is great. The food is just ok (it's a pub after all)...and the low prices reflect that... If you are looking for a gourmet meal, this is obviously not where you want to go... However, if you're looking for great ambiance ...this is a great place...We... more

Savannah is one of my favorite places to go for a girls getaway weekend. We were there on May 14, 2009. We stumbled upon Six Pence on our walk around tour of the district and we were glad we did. The beer selection was great. Try the Scotch eggs! They are excellent. We loved it so much we went back... more

My husband and I stopped in here for dinner before going on a haunted walking tour of Savannah. The atmosphere is quite nice, cozy and welcoming. The food was good; I had shepherd's pie and my husband had meatloaf, which he said was a bit dry. I tried some and agree that it was dry. The shepherd's pie was very... more

We are retired Brits. This was our first trip to Savannah. We went for an walk in the afternoon and stumbled across this lovely looking pub and went inside for a pint . There was hardly anyone else in the place. We sat and waited quietly for several minutes while two female staff did some chores and complelely ignored us... more

My husband and I chose to eat here because it was near our hotel and I am so glad we did. The Tilapia was great, price was good, atmosphere nice. We will go back when we visit Savannah again. more

Overall, the food was pretty good. I had bangers and mash and my wife had the shepherds pie. The hostess acted like it was a bother to seat us. Our waitress was very accomodating and attentive. more

This is the second time I have eaten at the Six Pence Pub. Both experience were fairly average. This place is great for soups and sandwiches. However, I had the Beef Guiness and it was cold and overly salty. However, the atmosphere is quaint and its a fun place to people watch. It was very crowded when we came at... more

We arrived early for the haunted pub crawl and none of the staff was happy to see us....EXCEPT for Sandra, the manager of the place. She was awesome, thank you Sandra for your attitude and I hope it will spread to the rest of your staff! more

Everyone liked the food, staff was very good. Liked the laid back atmosphere and the part of town it was in. One of the better meals that we had. Kids enjoyed it too. more

We love to go to the Six Pence and have been to the one in Blowing Rock, NC, too. Both are great, but the one in Savannah is better because of the eclair dessert. It is made locally and it was larger than a man's hand. The taste was to die for! We recommend the pub to all of our... more
