good pub dinner....

We felt like good stick to the ribs dinner and this place hit the spot. We both dined on the Shepherds Pie covered in mashed potatoes and then covered in cheese...yummy! This is served very hot and just the way we like it. Enjoyed the ambiance and and this was a good change from the other... read more

The Pub has a diverse menu that appeals to all tastes. The British pub atmosphere is relaxing and interesting.

Went here for dinner after walking past it earlier in the day. It has the menu posted outside, which made us decide to try it out for dinner. Cute pub atmosphere, clean, not packed. Had the baked brie appetizer which was very good and a modified BLT for dinner. Service was excellent and food was moderately priced. Would visit this... More

Stopped in for a quick bite at the bar. Fun atmosphere with great food and drinks. Bartenders were very patient helping us choose from the large selection of beers. A little disappointed they did not have fish and chips, but they don't have any fried foods. I guess that is a good thing!

This is usually our first stop when visiting Savannah. The food is excellent and the staff is friendly and attentive. If you don't have time for a meal stop for a drink. The bar is charming.

Enjoyed the Welsh Rarebit very much. A starter that was enough for a light dinner for me. Tomatoes on the plate unfortunately we're tasteless. My friend had the pork loin which had three large slices of excellent pork, great mashed potatoes and veggies (I sampled, of course) The waitstaff is very friendly and efficient. Food came out piping hot. Have... More

We visited Six Pence Pub a couple of times on our recent trip to Savannah. We were staying off Chippewa Square at the Foley House Inn with our two Boston Terriers. Both The Foley House and Savannah Dan had recommended the pub for a dog friendly place to eat. We came here with our pups one day for lunch. We... More

If you like British food then this is the restaurant for you. We had been touring Savannah when we decided to eat lunch at Six Pence. I had eaten at their Blowing Rock location and wanted to try the Savannah location. Our table had a combination of Bangers and Mash potato and Shepherds Pie. Both which were great. We had... More

The Six Pence is a dark, cozy pub. It had a serious fire a few years ago, but they've managed to replicate the original atmosphere, and it still looks old, like before. I had the Bangers and Mash, which is a very hearty meal, and the Cumberland sausages are delicious. My companion had the Shepherd's Pie, which she loved. It... More
