Six Pence has become a tradition!

This place was recommended by our hotel concierge. Specialties included French onion soup and Reuben sandwiches. Many wine by the glass options. Colorful selection of large, authentic Toby mugs behind the bar. Located on one of the city's most beautiful squares.

Good place for lunch, I tried the tender pot beef roast and it was really good. They have a very good variety of draught beers. Service is fast and attentive.

There were four of us. We each ordered something different. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Although the restaurant was crowded we did not find it overly noisy. The waitress was pleasant and efficient. We had a great dinner.

Great Food, Atmosphere and Experience. This little restaurant gets a big 10 score. It may be full when you go there but it is worth the wait. They are very efficient at getting you food out in a timely manner. Every one in our group loved the food and it was good sized portions. Try their Bread Pudding it's really... More

The other reviews are correct, the food is good and reasonable, the ambiance is very `pubish' but I have two views no one has mentioned yet. The service was wonderful from the hostess to the server. The staff is very friendly and interested in your experience at the restaurant. The other thing we found very nice is the beautiful collection... More

We had a pleasant and tasty lunch here. The potato salad was as good as homemade, and the seafood gumbo was also very good. The Reuben sandwich was okay, but not nearly as good as our favorite place at home. Service was great.

This small pub is right on Bull Street and can get very busy. The ambience is good and the food and beer selection at reasonable prices is nice. Both of our chicken pot pie and shepherds pie came with a salad and we topped it off with a Scottish beer and a local craft. Although not a large place we... More

the plowman' lunch was perfect; French bread, cup of homemade soup (chicken broccoli), wedge of cheddar cheese and a salad. We also had the chocolate eclair..the thing was HuGE! Shareable for sure maybe for even four people. Service was excellent and loved the homey decor.

We try to go to Six Pence whenever we visit Savannah. The food is good; the price is reasonable, and the décor is fabulous. This trip my husband had a salad and pot pie; I had the slow-roasted beef, mashed potatoes, and succotash. Everything was delicious. This pub is less than a block from the Savannah Theater, so it is... More
