Best gyro in Savannah! All varieties are excellent, chicken, chicken curry, and lamb. Small place that you can drive right by if you're not careful. Ate one for lunch and had to back and get another for dinner.

When looking to eat in Savannah, GA, middle eastern food is not typically the first thing that comes to mind. But if you are looking for great kabob, falafel, or lamb gyro this is the place to come. The place is authentic in the true sense, there is no pretense here. The "deli" is as much a "take out" joint... More

Four of us went for late takeout after a long day of renovation work. Evidently a local, well known gem. A small place with about 10 chairs and tables around a very small space. Ten would be crowded. Most clients seemed to be there for the takeout. Everything is prepared with care and fixed as you wait. The solo owner... More

Driving into the city late on a Weds. night, we saw the reviews for this place and squeezed in at around 8:30. Very sheepishly we asked if the owner would be okay serving us, since we were the only ones around. He told us it was fine for us to sit down and enjoy our meals, and enjoy we did.... More

You might describe this as a hole in the wall -- and that wouldn't be bad. The seating area is tiny, and a couple of guys were watching a World Cup game when I entered. The deli seems to be family owned, and a woman took pity on me and my red-faced children, giving me a bottle of water .... More

The owner will come out and talk to you while you eat sometimes, and the food is excellent. I love the falafel plate. There are old copies of National Geographic magazine on the walls that you can look at while you eat. Small seating area, but usually there is room. The takeout business seems to be the major part of... More

They have some of the best quality meats!! Nothing compares to the lamb on the gyros, nor the steak on the Philly cheesesteaks. A great place to grab lunch. I advise calling in if you don't like waiting you never know how busy they will be. Just can't brag enough :) great great place

Even though the deli is just a small shop run by a husband and wife, the food is delicious. It is also very reasonably priced. We were a company of five people who went there and all agreed that the food was worth the money. The ambience isn't that much as it isn't a proper restaurant but the food is... More

So disappointed. Hole in the wall is one thing, but this is way too iffy. Messy. The food took forever and wasn't fresh. Not worth the wait. Student hangout, fine. Not for us. Such a shame. Really can't figure out why people go back.
