Food was good, but pricey - Staff was average

The food presentation was nice and fairly tasty. It was the most expensive meal we ate all week and while it was good, I can't say it was the best meal ever. All the staff seemed to be preoccupied and not overly friendly. They seemed putout that people kept asking to be moved indoors once the gnats... read more

We sat on the patio and watched the barges and the river. Brilliant location but all felt rushed. Our waiter reeled off the specials so fast that we had difficulty understanding them and when we opted for a main course only seemed to lo interest. Food good, not great.

We went here for dinner. Sat on the patio and had a wonderful view of the river, bridge and passing barges. I got the king crab legs and they were delicious! Would definitely go back! Our server, Samantha, was great! Drinks from the bar were good, as well.

I have to write here about our experience at the Chart House. I see all these rave reviews and I am surprised because our experience at this restaurant was very lack luster. I am very easy to please, takes a lot for me to complain...a lot. We were in Savannah for the first time on our honeymoon. We decided to... More

This is in old building on the river and it was fantastic. The inside decor is very modern but mixes so well with the historical architecture. Called ahead to make a reservation and they asked if it we were celebrating anything, which we were for my mom's birthday. When they seated us and handed our menu's on the top of all... More

While this is always one of our favorite restaurants in Savannah, the food and service were excellent. We had hoped for a window table. The table was on a wall between two windows, which has me believe that they had bunched the tables on that wall a little closer together. We will return.

For great dining, this is the place to be. Having a wonderful meal while gazing out at the Savannah River is a real treat. I had the best prime rib that I've ever eaten - it just melted in my mouth. The double berry Moscow mule is a fun way to start the evening.

It was a beautiful day so selected to eat outside, that part was enjoyable. The hostess who sat us was less than friendly, just going through the motions, as we saw her do with every subsequent table, and we were there for almost two hours. She's the first impression at least smile. Our second impression was a server who thank... More
