If you want to eat ordinary Italian food surrounded by tourists at astonishing prices, Il Pasticcio is for you. We paid $73.56 (!!) for two (not very good) pasta dishes, a salad ($14), a glass of wine and a diet cola. Service was rushed (we weren't in a hurry but the staff was) and not very thoughtful. We had made our way to Savannah from Hilton Head after going to the golf tournament..There were many restaurants we wanted to try but after meeting a waiter where we had lunch, he highly recommended IL Pasticcio. We thought this looked like a nice place to have a great meal. My wife and I both had pasta dishes that were nothing better than what we could have bought at a grocery store. I've eaten at Il Pasticcio 4 times since January '07. Every time I visit Savannah my fiance and I make it a point to enjoy the wonderful cuisine. We love it so much that we've decided to hold our wedding reception at the restaurant. I highly recommend Il Pasticcio to everyone! Also, the wine selection is AMAZING! more

Went here on a recommendation from our realtor. $22.00 for overcooked angle hair pasta from a box with a little olive oil and basil? Gnocchi that had been microwaved so long it was dried out rubbery balls? Save your money. This place is terrible more

Fancy place. Pricey for sure. Food was good, but I wasn't blown away with my meal. There are better places to go eat in Savannah. more
