I have been a vegetarian since I was 5 ... most meals at fine restaurants are really designed around meat, fish or poultry. Usually when we dine out and they make a vegetarian plate for me it never is something extraordinary. But, I wanted to take my husband somewhere special (he is not a vegetarian) ... we both had the... more

Had a wonderful dinner here on May 23. The restaurant was very crowded and even though we had reservations, we had a wait for the table. The wait was worth it. I started with Crab Two Ways-a crab salad and a crab cake-both were the best I have ever had, and being from Louisiana, I have eaten my share of... more

Set in an old home which is quite nice and more formal then Alligator Soul. I enjoy food and tasting menus are my favorite, so I was disappointed when it was not offered because it was just too busy. With that said I ordered the fresh mozzarella and tomato salad with was good though not outstanding. For entrees I had... more

Without reservations we were seated last Friday a week ago not long before last call at a small rear table overlooking a courtyard; excellent view but freezing air from a vent was blowing up from the floor. We inquired about moving and our server quickly brought a heavy magnet mat that helped block the chilly gale. Still busy as diners... more

My wife and I had dinner here last evening. This was our 3rd visit to Elizabeth's had we were not disappointed. We started with a crab appetizer that was very good, then moved on to the sea bass and shrimp....it was wonderful. Next we had the strawberry dessert. We both enjoyed it as well. Service has always been top notch... more

On May 7-11, 2009, my wife and I visited Savannah, Georgia, for the first time; it will not be our last. We dined at a number of great restaurants, and Elizabeth on Thirty Seventh was one of them. The food, service, and atmosphere were excellent. Persons looking for a fine dining experience in Savannah, would be well advised to go... more

My husband and I were looking forward to eating here after reading the reviews on tripadvisor. The atmosphere of the restaurant was good. However, we were disappointed with the food, as well as the prices. The menu did not have much to choose from. The first course was the best- my husband had the lemongrass chicken soup and I had... more

My girlfriend and i visited savannah in april 2009 during a weekday and were blown away by this wonderful restaurant. The food was prepared perfectly. Many times chefs cover their food in too much sauce and overseason their dishes. Not Elizabeth's. The meals were balanced and layered with flavor without overdoing it. The ingredients were so fresh and all the... more

This restaurant has a great atmosphere and fantastic food! It's in a nice historic-type home and is very quiet and romantic. I had the scallops and they were amazing! The portions were pretty good for this type of restaurant as well. I'm sure you won't be disappointed! more
