New York City prices -- but a wonderful meal with great service and convenient location to where we were staying at the Galloway House. Worth going to for a very fine, well-prepared and interesting meal.

For our 4 year anniversary, my GF and I attended Elizabeth. I kinda knew it would be expensive, but was a little shocked when I got the bill (yes, the prices are listed. I was just so hungry I didn't notice.) Cocktail, 2 appetizers, 2 entrées, 1 dessert was over $130. Now, the food was excellent and there is quite...

This food was excellent. The pace is slow, but they act like you are the only ones there. Enjoyed the staff. Excellent muscles, corn soufflé, flounder, and salad. The drinks were a little steep in price, but I felt like the price of the food was spot on. Their desserts are excellent. I recommend the savannah cake....yummy!
The restaurant really lived up to its reputation. My husband and I enjoyed our first mint juleps - very, very good! My husband loved the filet mignon - he said it was in the top 5 of all filets he has ever had (and he has had many from the finest places!). I had the Shrimp and Red Rice -...

Beautiful environment and tremendous service. Impeccable timing and offerings. A must stop if you go to Savannah.
After reading many good reviews, and a few negative ones that we should have heeded, we were disappointed with our experience at the highly touted Elizabeth on 37th. The reception was rather frosty, the room we were in was packed with tables and we were uncomfortably close to other diners. A fish entree I had was inedibly overcooked, and my...

It's very unassuming, in an old house. But boy did we enjoy our meal there. The parmasean cheese basket that held shrimp was amazing, even the chicken Everything seemed very thoughtful and attention to detail was evident. A little fancy, so dress up a little and enjoy yourself!!
Elizabeth on 37 is in an old southern mansion in Savannah. It's not exactly near anything specific (like the Savannah River) so you have to make a point to go - and it's beyond worth it! My husband is from Savannah, but has never been to Elizabeth's, so we knew we needed to make it a priority because of all...

From the amuse bouche smoked mussle and the seared sea scallop appetizer to the asiago-potato crusted snapper with amazing Brussels sprouts, this meal was delectible! Angel food and sherry laced custard cake was the final touch. Each dish was perfectly seasoned and professionally served. An amazing meal!
Having visited serveral times previously, taken note of the recent reviews and given such due regard, my wife and I strolled up the walk of Eizabeth’s on 37th. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly and happily, my reservation table request was accommodated. After presentation of the menu, owner Gary Butch arrived and provided the specials of the day and suggestions....
