Thoroughly Enjoyed our Dinner

The setting was lovely, service excellent and food delicious! We had a great meal at Elizabeth's on a cold rainy night. Returned to Elizabeth's after being away for over year. The service was impeccable as usual and the setting although aging still looked charming. Our soup was just ok but not delicious and our main dishes while good, they were just above average. All in all, the meal was very good but not up to the usual Elizabeth's standards. With all... This was our first visit to Savannah and all the travel books had recommended Elizabeth's. The setting was very beautiful ,in an old Mansion as advertised. For an elegant setting, the staff was disappointing. The sommelier was dressed in jeans and looked unkempt. Our assistant waitress was nice but unskilled. The waiter saved the day. He was outstanding and deserved... More

Had a fabulous dinner choosing the special for the evening a seed encrusted grouper. Salad, soup, oysters all wonderful. Great wine list. My husband told our waiter he felt like standing up and cheering his fish was so wonderful. The waiter seemed amused and then told us he was one of the owners. Great personable service by all the wait... More

For the price, this was very disappointing. We were seated in a chilly patio though numerous better tables remained open - it was a Sunday night. The service was terrible. We ordered wine that was delivered half way through out main course. The food was average. For the money, there are far better options in Savannah.

All the elements are there. Creative menu, lovely house and decor, attentive and professional staff. The food was good, but not quite terrific. The price point was not outrageous based on what they are going for. However, the food needed to be terrific, and it just wasn't. It was good, but $7-10 an entree less would have changed my perception... More

We were fortunate to get reservations on Valentine's Day at Elizabeth On Thirty Seventh and were we ever happy we did. Our reservations were in the early evening which allowed us to walk to and from the restaurant (about a half mile each way) which was very much needed after such a wonderful meal. I had the Spicy Savannah Red... More

Elizabeth on 37th left me disappointed, especially for all the positive reviews. The price was not as much as concern as usually when you pay more you can expect better. That was not the case with this experience. Let’s start with the surroundings. We entered and nice old Victorian in a grand entry. Rooms converted into dining spaces as expected.... More

The service was impeccable, delivered by a team of servers. Excellent menu. The chef has a little treat for everyone. This night it was a mussel with a tomato sauce, delicious. We both had fish-flounder with a wonderful crust of pumpkin and sesame seeds and probably another. Well prepared and also delicious.Beautiful house. Parking is on the street.

Well executed meal, and very attentive wait staff. Atmosphere makes you feel comfortable and happy. Something missing that doesn't allow me to give 5 out of 5.
