We had a wonderful evening here, good fine dining atmosphere and waiters who showed a good knowledge of the food and a passion for what they were serving. We went for the taster menu and we just couldn't eat it all but the quality was good and the staff were excellent. We will return, although expensive for Savannah you get... more

Once you pull up to the restaurant, you know this is going to be special. The house and front gardens are lovely and the dinner will match your expectations. The food is wonderful and the service is knowledgeable and attentive, although a warning should be given about the spiciness of the Savannah red rice dish. We counted this as our... more

We just returned from Savannah and many wonderful meals, but Elizabeth on 37th outshone all of them. As you enter this gracious southern home you are stepping back in time. The service and ambience balance the tastes that follow! From the appetizer....oysters that were presented in three unique styles with a complementary pairing of white wine... to the rack of... more

This restaurant is phenomenal. You walk in to what seems like an old Savannah home to a warm reception by the hostest. The food was just great. The attention is amazing. I had the local blue crab cake with creamed corn and tomato-chive butter. So delicious. Had the Mustard-Garlic Glazed Salmon as an entree. Fish was cooked to perfection. Really... more

This restaurant is definitely "over-hyped". It is in a nice building and the service was good but "over pretentious". The food, however, is not what you expect for the very high price! There are better restaurants in Savannah (and in a better neighborhood)! My wife and I were very disappointed given that we had "done the research" because we were... more

Having been a resident of Bluffton for 8 years, I thought it was time to sample Elizabeth's after Jim Williams' high recommendations in "Midnight. " Now I know why he had his meals catered to his jail cell from Elizabeth's, it totally lived up to my expectations. The service was exceptional: professional yet filled with Southern hospitality. We started off... more

It started with the young girl, dressed in an old parker, making us wait for 10 minutes while she looked for a table-even though we had booked and the restaurant was not full. The menu choices were very limited. We had to ask for water and for a clean knife and fork for the main course. The restaurant is highly... more

Really, in my opinion, Elizabeth on 37th rivals both Magnolia Grill in Durham and Slightly North of Broad in Charleston. EXCELLENT all around. The restaurant is in an old house, probably historic. Very beautiful to walk up to at night with all of the lights blazing. We had made an RSVP for 7:30 but got there around 6:45. No problem,... more

There is no reason to pay $10 more for an entree (and $3 or $4 more for a glass of wine) then in other "savannah experience" restaurants, like Old Pink House, etc. Other places typically offer a tasty side with the entree. Not here. Also, the salad is just a mouthful. I guess they think it is so exquisite that... more

My husband and I spent a week in Savannah in early Oct. Elizabeth's was the only restaurant where I booked a reservation before we left. I was delighted to discover that they had a tasting menu and so ordered that at $90. It was worth every expensive penny! The food was wonderful and my tasting "samples" were almost as big... more
