We went to Vinnie Van Go-Go's based on the reviews. There were comments about it being the best pizza ever had and how delicious it was. Well, it was good. It was fresh. Quick stop in Savannah...had heard about Vinnie's from a local. WOW, never had a slice of pizza the size of a pizza pan before, but we did here! Great value... everything was fresh and yummy! Too bad they don't have a larger place... it was very crowded and hot, but worth it!!! more

Excellent restaurant, great quaint atmosphere. The pizza was good, but the calzone was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You must eat here while in Savannah. It is easy on the pocketbook for families while in Savannah compared to other options. I didn't plan on coming to Savannah for pizza, but was definitely worth it! more

My husband was reluctant to try a "pizza joint" for lunch in Savannah, but we were both glad we did! We split a pizza, and it was probably the best pizza I've ever had. The crust was perfect, the sauce delicious, ingredients were fresh, and it was not greasy at all. It's a very, very casual atmosphere (we ate outside)... more

asked for thin crust, extra cheese, well done. Came out, lots of sauce, minimal chees, and not well done but gooey. Sent it back, came back the second time perfect. more

My favorite pizza in Savannah. Great for grabbing a beer, some spinach salad and a slice or two of absolutely wonderful crispy pizza. Bring cash as they don't take other forms of payment. Situated right on the edge of City Market it's a great place to stop when your out in the historic district. more

We like the pizza here...the only thing that isn't so great is the seating arrangements. I'm not too crazy about sitting at plastic patio furniture at my own home, so it sucks sitting at it AND you have to pay for the meal. I LOVE THE PIZZA THOUGH! Please don't get me wrong.. more

I LOVE Vinnie's! This is a place popular with locals even though it is in a touristy section of town. Service is really great-lots of artsy SCAD students. They hand toss the crusts which are SOOO yummy and the prices are super reasonable. Be warned though they only take CASH. Most of the time there is a long line but... more
