Not that any of the other Savannah pizza joints are very different. Vinnie's does have great atmosphere, but the pizza dough is not as good as it used to be and the entire pizza is just kind of plain. Savannah needs a real pizza place with large wide flat thin pizzas....ANyone? more

It's a tiny little restaurant, but there's plenty of seating outside in the warm weather. It's worth a small wait to get pizza whole or by the slice with pretty much any topping you can imagine on top. There's beer on tap, and big jugs of sweet tea - both highly recommended. more

My husband and I made a point to visit Vinnie's based on the reviews and were sorely disappointed - the pizza was tasteless. The waitress service was friendly and quick, the servings abundant, but we were both amazed by the tastelessness of the pizza. more

Look, if you want the ambience of low lighting, cloth napkins, dark wood, and a staff that looks down their nose while using too many adjectives to describe the wine list - then do not go to Vinnies. If you are looking for a great time, a full table of delcious food and cold beer, then this is your place.... more

The pizza was very good. Thin crust with good toppings. You can order by the slice and the slices are large. We also had a calzone which was more cheese and dough than anything else, but it was alright. more

This restaurant is located in Cirty Market. My husband and I were looking for a place to get a good cold pitcher of beer at a reasonable price, so we decided to try this place for dinner. We were really happy with the pizza and the beer was great. The service was good. We visited in the fall, so the... more

Wife and I stopped by for a white pie (pizza) last Friday night (October 9th). Nothing fancy about the place but very good food (ambiance is way overrated). Helpful staff, good cold beer on tap. What more could you ask for? Would definately return next time in Savannah. more

I now know why it's named Vinnie Van "Go-Go's"! Aside from giving us the "go-go's," this pizza is average, at best. They say that they open at 12, but really they begin to set the tables up at 12. So, you have to wait in the hot sun for all of the tables and chairs to be arranged and then... more

On a busy Sunday night, we decided to take our pizza back to our Bed & Breakfast rather than wait 45 minutes to an hour to sit out in the hot street. The crust is great & I liked the choices for toppings. I had garlic, artichokes & sundried tomatoes- great combination! I was very pleased with the pizza. Can't... more

I traveled to Savannah from Ohio in the spring of 2009 with a friend to visit her son who was a freshman at SCAD. Vinnie's had been recommended to me by a friend who is a SCAD alumni. After a long drive, our party was ready for a light, relaxing meal and a beer. What we found in Vinnie's was... more
