My family ate there on June 7 with high expectations after having eaten at a great restaurant in Savannah the night before. The ambience is nice and cozy, the employees were friendly and the wine list was fair. We ordered the Fried Green Tomato appetizer which was very good and we really got excited about the entrees. My wife ordered... more

We fell upon this gem as we were walking through one of the squares(City Market) at the end of a very long day of walking over 4 hours. Looking in the window, it looked like such a quaint place to eat and a quiet place to rest. I ordered the Chicken Penne(artichokes, roasted tomatoes and Parmesan cheese) which was served... more

We are locals and decided to do the town last weekend and had an outstanding meal. This restaurant is small and intimate, without being stuffy. We received excellent service from our waiter. Try the seared scallops, outstanding! We will be returning. more

Bistro Savannah is committed to supporting local and/or organic suppliers, and offers a menu focused on local specialties such as Shrimp and Grits. Don't miss this choice - the grits alone are worth the eating! Calamari for a starter came with three, count them, three dipping sauces. Our only quibble was the wine list, which had some very nice choices... more

Innovative, stylish, comfortable and wonderful food. Ate there twice during our one week stay in Savannah. Sent friends and they all raved. Ate at Sapphire Grill, Olde Pink House, Isaacs at 9 Drayton, and Hueys. This rated #1 for dinner. Spring Roll appetizers and Bouliabase were superb. Soft shell crab done perfectly. more

The reviews on this restaurant talked about Local Low Country fusion with Thai. This was not so on the menu which seemed to be a mish mash or styles and tastes. There is one fish dish that has some Asian influence but we noticed mostly Italian dished on the menu. The food was fresh and well presented. Nice wine list... more

Sapphire Grill's menu was a little bit more inventive, and while we were eating the appetizers (the calamari and foie gras appetizers were amazing), I was wondering if our terrific meal at Bistro Savannah was going to be topped. But the main courses and desserts, while good, weren't as good as at Bistro Savannah. So it wins our prize for... more

I spent a week in Savannah and found this little gem. What a great place to eat. This is a fine dining restaurant, warm and cozy. The food was perfect from start to finish. I ordered the fried green tomatoes and discovered that Bistro Savannah makes the best! I ordered the Wild Mushroom Gnocchi, it was perfectly prepared and flavorful.... more

We went to Bistro Savannah with high expectations. We had heard from many sources that this was some of the best food in Georgia, but that was not our experience! The best part of the meal was the homemade bread and the friendly service. My appetizer, the crab spring rolls and fried oysters, contained little crab meat and was unremarkable.... more
