After doing much research on dining in Savannah we finally chose Sapphire Grill. The food, Wine and service were all great. This was the best meal we ate while in Savannah. more

We reserved a table for our 25th wedding anniversary. We wanted a special evening and were not disappointed. The food was delicious. Our favorites were the pan seared grouper and crab cake appetizer. The atmosphere was just right.. Our table was intimate, but the restaurant was not stuffy or quiet. Our waitress was professional and knowledgeable. Our only complaint is... more

Perfect portions and great variety. The lobster meat was all tail and claws which was my favorite and the perfect amount. I was too full for desert but it looked delicious as well. more

Restaurant provided many different dinner selections - chef's choice, ala carte options, first, second course options, etc. Lots of local cuisine options. Our meal was excellent and our service was great as well. Restaurant has two levels of dining, but is quaint and perfect for a romantic dinner. more

My husband is a chef and we live in Miami. We were in Savannah for our 5th anniversary and a colleague recommended this restaurant. It's a lovely setting -- not too big or too small and not over-crowded so the tables aren't completely packed in. We both had the four-course chef's menu with wine pairings...the food was divine, with well-paired... more

Various folks recommended this restaurant, so we went for dinner. My wife had a four-course chef's selection, consisting of poached lobster (two small slices, one slightly chewy, with goat cheese), Caeser salad (wonderful dressing, with bruschetta points and an anchovy confit, delicious), 7 oz tenderloin with pomme frites, OK, fries, both fantastic, and a mini-chocolate gateau with an equally small... more

We had the 4 course tasting menu. The first course we each got something different- scallop and lobster- the lobster was a little chewy, but good. Second course, my husband had root vegetables and I had the ceasar salad- the salad was better. Third course we each had the beef tenderloin- his was undercooked and mine was overcooked. The dessert... more

Great looking restaurant in the heart of the Historic district. For the price, they need to really step up their game. The food is competently prepared but not particularly memorable. I sent the sweetbreads back because they were tasteless. Friendly, informative staff. I don't think you get your money's worth. My advice to them: lower the price or up the... more

We dined at Sapphire Grill for our 23rd wedding anniversary. All in all we were disappointed with the meal. The menu selection was pretty limited and the chef's choice menu was not something that we were interested in. We accepted that as not everyone's tastes are the same and do not hold fault to the restaurant for the chef's menu... more

Located on Congress St immediately next door to Lady and Sons, Sapphire Grill is in a completely different league. Cool, hip atmosphere (I could have lived without the music being quite so loud but we were seated immediately after the doors opened so it's probably fine a little later in the evening), nice appointments, excellent service and impeccable food -... more
