We had lunch here on my last day in Savannah. It was just around the corner from The Green Palm Inn. Not the best outlook, but wow! what great food and so reasonable. I think we paid $40 for three of us including drinks and a tip. All food is freshly prepared, organic and what a taste. Go to Savannah... more

Before our trip we'd read that a number of restaurants in Savannah were emphasizing local ingredients, often grown organically, and were doing wonderful things with them. We selected Cha Bella precisely because its web site showed that it was very much a part of this movement. We were not at all disappointed. Something as ordinary-seeming as a house salad proved... more

My husband and I went to Sav for our anniversary and made reservations at Cha Bella. First, we sat outside because we usually don't like the stuffiness of upscale restaurants. It was a good choice...pretty chandeliers, not too close to other tables. Our waitress was very nice and helpful. I had the goat cheese and eggplant salad and it was... more

second time there and all dishes ordered between me and my wife were well below standards of local downtown establishments. Of the four plates ordered, all being different, non were exciting. The average plate at cha bella is 30 and from the four plates i have sampled, none of them were worth more than at most 13..... cha bella is... more

We had dinner here the first night of our trip to Savannah. The three couples in our group all enjoyed the evening. The food is very fresh and organic, and the menu was very appealing and had some unique dishes, Our server was pleasant. We tried 4 different appetizers amd 5 different entrees (some duplicates at the table). The appetizers... more

Organic. Local. Thoughtful menu and wine list. Delicious food. All of these accurately describe Cha Bella located on the far east side of Savannah's historic downtown district. Shadowy, grey, dim, dreary. Unfortunately, all these also describe Cha Bella. My date and I entered the restaurant at 7:30 one Saturday evening through a weather beaten, faded door. Inside the restaurant was... more

It's been less 3 months since I left Savannah and I still have the taste of Cha Bella's in my mouth! I loved it! After a long day of touring and my last night in Savannah, my innkeeper recommended Cha Bella's . If you want classy, romantic, quiet, refreshing and mouthwatering fresh food, then Cha Bella's is the place for... more

I tried Cha Bella, and while it looked promising the endless excuses for delayed food became annoying... and it wasnt even close to being full on a Thursday night. 65 minutes for a damn chicken!? This place is run by amateurs. Food was average. Management get a grip on your service and food. more

Went to this well-rated restaurant on our first visit to Svannah and wasn't dissapointed. Suggest you make a meal of the appetizers which defines this restaurant. Start with the flatbread/pizza, then go with a seafood combo: the outrageous divers scallops (maybe 2 orders @ $10 each) plus the shrimp/crab grits. Then end European style with a special salad. With a... more

Ate at Cha Bella last Thursday night when we first got to town. The food was fantastic! I do not normally like fruity drinks, but their's was made with fresh squeezed fruit juice, so I gave it a try. Watermelon, Peach and Vodka. WOW! The salads came a little quick, then there was a long wait for dinner. Took a... more
