Toucan Cafe is the inspiration and hard work of Steve Magulias and his wife Nancy. Their dedication to the creation of incredible dishes and a unique environment began in a tiny restaurant on Eisenhower.

Our extensive menu includes blackened tilapia tacos, tomato dill soup, black and bleu ribeye steak, Moroccan salmon and a variety of vegetarian dishes. We also feature a private room for entertaining guests perfect for private events of any kind.

Unique, hidden away gem, kept secret by the locals!

The people at a conference we were attending recommenced this place. It is rather small and hidden away. Top notch gourmet cuisine. I had the Moroccan Salmon with is one of there most popular dishes. It was very good. We had a party of 12. It was a Thursday night and many locals were disturbed to... read more

This is a rare find! If I was a local to the area, I would not want others to know about this restaurant. But being a person that likes to explore out of the way, non corporate, restaurants, you MUST dinner here. It doesn’t look like much from the outside but don’t let that fool you. The inside is wonderful... More

Our latest visit to Toucan Cafe was new years eve for a very early dinner that included a four year old. With two vegetarians in the family it is not always easy to find a restaurant that pleases everyones tastebuds, but we always have delightful meals and excellent service here. The four year old was even happy. The chef is... More

We appreciated the convenience of the Toucan Cafe because it was a mere 8 minute drive from our Airbnb house. It is an interesting entrance because you think it is the first building but you have to follow the sign to the back of the lot where the restaurant is. Once you are inside, you'll be treated to a nice... More

It's not very often all 7 of us nod at each other and all agree 'Wow, that was good!' Simple as that. 7 cleared plates and all satisfied. Thank you guys.

Restaurant situated away from the tourist traps. Short ride away from the river downtown. Fabulous choices and the chef prepares everything with his own twist. Interesting combination(s) of ingredients. Everyone in our party of four enjoyed their meal.

We stayed in the midtown area and did not want to drive to the River St area for a nice dinner, so we consulted with our handy dandy Trip Advisor app which showed Toucan Cafe nearby. We were excited to see the parking lot filled with autos belonging to locals! We were seated quickly for a Fri evening and both... More

So happy we left river street! The Toucan Cafe has really easy decor and ambiance. Very affordable prices for food of this caliber. I had the pork tenderloin. SO GOOD. Portabello vegetarian plate, great. Seafood risotto woth shrimp & scallops. Wow. Cappuccino pie desert, heaven. Worth the trip.

Apparently, a place to be in Savannah. Lot of fancy people, hipsters... Food was good indeed but more choice on the menu would be better. Service was excellent.
