I've frequented the Toucan for 15 years or more, since it started in a strip mall near a movie theater. I've always been impressed by the wide variety of offerings and the (relatively) reasonable prices. Our last visit however wasn't so great. The food was bland and portions small, and not up to the standards I'd expected. The wines are... More

Found this place on trip advisor and since it was close to our hotel we decided to try it. The food was wonderful. Didn't look like much from the outside in fact after seeing it we almost left. It is in the rear of some funky buildings so you need to go around back. My wife had the seafood fettuccini... More

We just had the Moroccan Salmon and it was simply to die for-- one of the best I have had in a while. I always forget about toucan because it's tucked away-- a destination restaurant and not one you happen upon. I recommend that you happen upon this one! As always the meal was impeccable. Great salads, appetizers, even the... More

Our hotel manager suggested we try here (La Quinta) and we were not disappointed Fortunately he also told us it was hidden away, otherwise we would never have ventured there. We both had steak, a rib-eye and a fillet mignon. Absolutely delicious. Servings are huge so we unfortunately couldn't fit in a desert. Our waiter, Aaron, was excellent and we... More

This restaurant sits back off the road just a little but what a treasure. It was 1/2 mile from our hotel just off Abercorn. The service was impeccable. The bottle of wine was the least expensive on the wine list but it was delicious. We all had different chicken dishes and they were excellent. Jerk Chicken, the Black and Blue... More

Directed her by hotel. On st. PADDY'S weekend. Eclectic menu but I had the best Salmon I can remember. It was cooked lightly and was on a bed of greens and grain. FANTASTIC!

We decided to check Tripadvisor for a special restaurant while visiting Savannah. This was not one of the top rated but sounded interesting and appeared to be less expensive than some of the others. We hit the jackpot. The service was fabulous as was our dinner and at fair prices. My husband and I each had salmon but each of... More

My mother came to town and we gave this eatery a try. The service was great...the menu was full of unique options, but the food was not so remark...at least not for me. Maybe I didn't have enough wine. LOL. The wind list was great though :) I definitely loved the decor.

Try the cheese plate and the seafood risotto. The honey truffle oil is to die for-- and the wine list is decent.
