Wow - This was a Gem of a find. Last minute dinner reservations for a table of 8 business associates. We had a really fantastic meal and great service. The attention to detail and the combinations of flavors were delicious. I will be back!

I was visiting Savannah for a weekend conference and had a free night to have dinner out on the town. A friend suggested Toucan Cafe but hadn't been there since they had changed locations, so we went to eat there together along with some other friends. It is kinda tucked away but worth the drive to get there! The staff... More

The surf/turf was very good. My wife got the shrimp/grits and it had some kick. Very good. I liked the place a lot. NOT touristy so it was refreshing....

I work in this area and Toucans is always a go-to restaurant for me. It's not downtown, but i would encourage visitors to make the short drive to midtown savannah. Excellent Moroccan salmon dish. Highly recommend. Very busy at lunch, but worth the short wait.

This was the best meal we've had in a long time - and the price was more than reasonable! The service and ambience were also fabulous! We wish we lived closer to this restaurant as it would be our new favorite eatery! The place was quite busy on a week night so making a reservation is a good idea.

According to the manager, the Toucan Cafe's business is 95% local, 5% tourist. Breads, cakes, etc made on premise. I ordered the pan-seared tilapia. Exceeded what I had expected. Seats about 150 and is difficult to find but absolutely worth it! Its at Abercorn and Stephenson but turn left if going west. My GPS had me turn towards Hunter AAF... More

Had lunch here the other day. It's quite busy during lunch- so be prepared to wait. The waitress was super friendly and helpful! I went with 2 girlfriends and we each ordered something different and got to sample each other's dish. Everything was good! Would definitely go back

I have been going to Toucan for over 5 years now, and the last few times it has seemed dirty--chairs, floor, walls, etc. The food is still good, but I really don't want to go and spend money where their is lack of attention to the facilities.

So it's off the tourist trail (but near our airbnb) and the prices are excellent. The place has a certain naff-ness about it - the decor is bright like a toucan and feels more like a Mexican restaurant (says "greek fusion"). The 4* rating is a reflection of quality per price. My jerk tilapia was excellent - moist, flavorful. Service... More
