This review is for the Waters Avenue location. Sat in the bar area, service was good, but the best thing about the meal was the exceptional crab chowder. A must! The broiled crab cakes were a little salty. The fried oysters were perfect. Get your fries extra crispy. Oh and the Texas toast was the best. All in all a... More

We shared a bowl of Tybee crab chowder and a low country boil platter of sausage, shrimp, potatoes & corn and a fried shrimp basket with french fries & coleslaw $55 Food was just OK - no need to try this restaurant.

Went to the St. Patty's celebration. Looked for a place to eat lunch and found the exchange. Their pricing was not set up to gouge those already being gouged by the events outside. Food was very good and the service was excellent. Had a draft beer for 3.25; they were charging $5 outside......very silly. We had the fish and chips... More

Our server, Kenya was fun, entertaining, and knowledgable of the food choices. The beer was cold and the food was good. For the busy River Street location, they were better than average. It was St. Patricks Day and raining so the crowd was not out of control and we were seated right away. A nice surprise. We'll go back.

The food was very good and tasty, though small in portion size. The waitress was weird but friendly. Overall experience was good.

Located near the Savannah river in the Historic part of town. We stopped in and sat at the bar and had wonderful service and a great meal. The crab chowder with a touch of Cheri and the fresh fried calamari where both a hit. Will return next time we are in Savannah.

The atmosphere is pleasant and laid back and service is so-so. We have been there a few times, but the first was only for drinks. The bartender was great! For a late lunch, my husband had the fish & chips and he thought they tasted like Mrs. Paul's frozen fish sticks. The chips were neither crunchy nor soft, but an... More

Ate here recently with my wife. They sat us upstairs next to a large party that was pretty noisy, which I didn't really understand, but the service and food was good. I wouldn't say it's a must go-to place when in Savannah, but it's conveniently located and decent enough food.

Restaurants along River Street are generally expensive and busy. This one seems reasonable by comparison. It was 6:30 Saturday night and they told us it would be a 20 minute wait. They seated us in 5. The tavern side is noisy, but the restaurant side is quieter. You can have a casual meal and a nice conversation. I had steamed... More
