Some reviewers gave poor reviews because they weren't macaroons - they aren't supposed to be, macarons are different and much more delicious. We stopped here for "treats" after lunch at the Olde Pink House - we just bought a dozen because we couldn't make a decision on flavors. We ate them over a few days, all the fillings were complex... If you like french style macaroons, this is the place for you. They had about 15 different flavors of macaroons out. We bought 3 and I wish we had bought a dozen. The meyer lemon was lovely - a lovely mixture of tart and salty, with the crisp fresh meringue of the macaroon. My sister had the Mexican chocolate -... More

If only everyone knew how time-consuming and complicated these cookies are to make, they would rate them excellent all the time! It takes hours to make sure the ingredients are just right. Then, there's the combining of the ingredients in just the right order, and letting them set so that the little edges are dried just right. Then, there's the... More

I guess I just didn't understand what a macaron would be like. We stopped to get just a couple for dessert and tried the salted caramel and the raspberry. They are about $2 for a pretty small item. When I ate it I had a very mixed response. It did taste good, but it just had a very new texture... More

I love macaroons, so I thought this would be a great place! Sadly, they are not macaroons. We wanted ahead and got a bag of 6 so we could try several. They were OK. The strawberry flavor was awful! The banana and the key lime were our favorites. If you like sweets, you would probably like these, but if you... More

My husband and I visited in October and bought a box of 12, they were fantastic. They are sweet and yes they are a bit pricey but worth every penny! He loved them so much that I just bought a box of 24 and had them shipped to Buffalo to surprise him for his bday! They look perfect and are... More

No these are not macaroons made of coconut. Instead they are colourful meringue sandwiches with rich and delicious fillings. A special treat at $2.50 each. Near Lucas theatre.

We tried a big selection of these delectable french treats and I would be hard pressed to tell you which was my favorite. OMG soooo good! I will definitely go back and may check into the possibility of delivery. I have ordered Macarons from the supposed best place in New Orleans but Maison De Macarons wins hands down.

My first time eating Macarons. We bought a dozen of varied flavors. The lemon was good, all others tasted a bit too sweet for me. I probably won't go out of my way to buy Macarons because I think they are overpriced, but for those that love them, don't let my review stop you from going to this shop. The... More
