I have seen these treats in magazines, and have been wanting to try one for a while. I was telling my friends about the Macarons while strolling in Savannah, and turned a corner and there it was Maison de Macarons. I had to wait a few days to get my treat, because the store was closed. But it was definitely... More

Ok, let me put the record straight. I am a foodie and have traveled the world in search of great food from fine dining to true local and ethnic cuisine. I am had macaroons in France and NYC.And I would say these are better than any I've had. Better then Lauderee in NY or Paris or Miami. Yes the macaroons... More

A friend told me about this place so I stopped in to purchase some macarons for my family to try. There are a couple of tables in the place but the only thing they sell are the macarons. When I was there 2 teenagers were sitting at one of the tables eating the macarons. They asked the young woman behind... More

Several varieties to chose from. Personal favorite is the chocolate ganache or key lime. A definite stop each time we go to Savannah.

I've had the macarons from Laduree in Paris and they are delicious, but I enjoyed these just as much. I tried several flavors, including Salted Caramel, Lemon, Pistachio, and Key Lime. The only one I didn't care for was the Green Tea, which I bought on the recommendation of the woman working. It has a chunk of candied ginger among... More

This small bakery should not be missed! Their selection of macarons changes periodically but every flavor I tried is divine. I arrived just before they opened on a Saturday morning and I was not the first person waiting for them to open. Once inside, a long line formed behind me, but they are well worth the wait. I ordered two... More

These macarons are fantastic. My favorite is the caramel. They have seasonal flavors too, depending on what fresh fruit is in season, or what season it is (try the buttered popcorn or pumpkin!). I often send a box of these to friends or clients and they give back rave reviews. Plus, this business is owned by two local ladies who... More

We picked this place for desserts based on trip advisor reviews. We had a dozen of macaroons for about 20 dollars. They're good size macaroons much larger than the classic French ones. We tried the raspberry, chocolate, salted caramel, vanilla, turtles. I was very disappointed.. If you tried macaroons from Pierre Herme or Laduree then don't even bother trying these... More

I had macarons while in Paris and they weren't nearly as good as the ones here. They are absolutely delicious and the employees are super friendly and helpful. Visiting Maison de Macarons (the Abercorn St. location) was a highlight of our trip. It's a tiny place but very very cute. Hopefully I will be able to visit Savannah again and... More

Noticed these spectacularly yummy treats walking by the store on Abercorn Street and they looked too good not to give them a try. I grudgingly gave my husband the two he picked up, by the other 4 were mine! I had the Bourbon Pecan and a chocolate one that I still reminisce how good they were. Don't pass these little... More
