Great little place on Jefferson street

This was a new place for my associate and I to visit and it was a really nice surprise. The staff was fantastic, and a great little restaurant and bar. Food was overall very good. I would definitely return.

First I must say that the restaurant is beyond charming! So romantic and cozy, we could have stayed all night!! We had a wonderful waiter, very accommodating and available at all the right moments. I wish I could remember his name, all I know, is that it was his first night! We'll..... He is a keeper for sure! The best... More

Maxwell's was our last choice for a three day restaurant during the 2015 Savannah Tour of Homes and Gardens ,but turned out to be the best of all. Started with great public parking at the city garage behind the courthouse AND steps away from Maxwells. Great little place with nice design and ambiance . Best of all was the food... More

I researched this place through trip advisor and I was blown away! the service was extremely knowledgeable about everything on the menu, especially the wine selection. I do have to say it was a little pricey but it was worth it. My girlfriend and I had a perfect seat with candle light and roses on the table. It was not... More

We had a great time having Dinner at Maxwell's. The food was really very good and so was the wine. My date and I were both quite full when we left. Our server graciously helped us secure transportation back to our hotel and the service overall was excellent. Specifically the food - as some have already said, there was a... More

Food was subpar and cold....The soup choked us and then they didn't have the correct dessert we wanted...Then the bill was 195.00 for cold food and subpar...Terrible experience

Went there for Valentines day dinner and found it very romantic. Roses on each table with a lit candle. Disappointed to find they had a 4 course pre-set menu that was not stated when I made the reservations. Price was $75 per person plus tip and tax added coming out to $96.60 a person plus your wine or drinks. Understanding... More

My husband and I spent several days in Savannah during the holidays. We went in for lunch and were not disappointed. The restaurant is beautiful, the staff very friendly, and the food was excellent. So good that we decided to go back to Maxwell's for dinner. Dinner was just as good! This restaurant is done so well that the only... More

Maxwell's is a warm and cozy little restaurant with fantastic food and the best service I've had in years. I was amazed what the chef was able to produce from the very tiny two man kitchen. Our meals were delicious! The bartender, Kevin, was knowledgable and extremely friendly. The chef came out and spoke with us for a bit. It's... More
