This was our first time to Maxwell's. Our server Kevin was professional, courteous and kind. Eating in a great restaurant should mean a great experience not just good food. The food is well prepared by a seasoned chef. My wife and I both had the crab cake and steak served with a creamy wine sauce. The crab cake was pure... More

Went with my mother to Maxwell's as she had been the previously and couldn't say enough good things about it. We were seated immediately and our waitress came over and got our drink orders very quickly. Once we ordered the wait was not long at all and our food came out and tasted AMAZING! Our waitress was new and did... More

service, décor, ambiance, food. All very good. Fresh flavors. Lamb chops were nicely spiced and perfectly cooked. Wedge salad had a really good blue cheese dressing - lite and chunky. Great bacon - more would be have been good. Everyone. Excellent cocktails. Great blends, well made. Well worth the visit and well worth going back!

We read all the reviews looked at the menu before making reservations for dinner for 4 of us. We arrived promptly were nicely greeted but after looking around it was mostly empty, so that made us a little weary. They presented us with a special cocktail menu, two of us chose from that menu, they asked us if we wanted... More

I have always walked by Maxwell's on my way downtown but never ate there. I'm so glad we finally did. It so cute on the inside very tastefully decorated with fresh flowers on the table. My parents had the lamb and it was delicious. I had the pork Satay for an appetizer and then had hearts of Palm salad as... More

Stopped in Maxwell's and loved the place. The only downside was they ran out of some of the specials very quickly. We sat at the bar and had a great time with the staff and the owner. Really good food!

The restaurant was cozy and romantic. When making the reservation, I wanted to try somewhere new for my birthday so we decided to go here. The food and service was good.

We went with friends whose dining tastes are usually quite different than ours. We each found an entree that suited each of us and which we each enjoyed. Great service. Would return.

This has become one of our top 3 picks in Savannah for a dinner out. The service was thoughtful, prompt and conscientious, the food was excellently prepared and came paced to accommodate our wish to savor. Our first time here, we already felt we'd been in before and will certainly be back many more times. If you're a wine lover,... More

My husband and I have a new favorite place for dinner in Savannah - Maxwell's! Quaint, small (40-50 people), white tablecloths, outstanding food, good service. I had salmon and my husband had the special, a 12 oz ribeye. Salmon - No fishy taste, but "blackened" with crispy bottom & moist flavorful taste. Ribeye had wonderful flavor - tender with delicious... More
