Not quite "French" but...

We arrived without reservation, and while the hostess was a little off-putting at first, she yielded to persuasion and eventually found us a table. The cocktails were fun, the wine-list very well chosen, and the food very good--if a somewhat Americanized version of French cooking. This is certainly worth a recommendation.

This was my first visit to this wonderful bistro, but definitely not my last. The atmosphere was conducive to good dining, the service was friendly and efficient, and the food was superb. The hostess/waitress knew her wines, as well as the excellent bill of fare. Located in the historic district and convenient to many hotels and inns, as well at... More

We had a memorable dinner here. Soups, salad, entree, and dessert were excellent. Our helpful waiter was able to split the entree and salad at no extra charge.

Awesome atmosphere. Ella Fitzgerald playing over the loudspeaker. Fries cooked in duck fat and sprinkled with truffle oil and my favorite line of the evening: Me: May I have a glass of Chardonnay? Server (Emily): Would you prefer 'buttery' or dry? Me: Dry. A place I plan to visit every time I come to Savannah.

The best charcuterie board in the city hands down! I enjoyed the intimacy of eating in the downstairs location.

Had a great dinner and our waitress Galen was awesome. We had Cassoulet Maisson which was excellent, The restaurant was much smaller than I thought it would be but was very nicely decorated. Will return on our next visit

This is a restaurant by and for Francophiles! The Cassoulet maisson was classic French country style, perfectly done. I also had the Maidens Blush signature cocktail - a great choice if you are looking for something interesting but not sweet. The excellent cuisine is matched by the warm and intimate atmosphere. When in Savannah, don't miss the chance to eat... More

Excellent food, service, and ambience. What more could you want? The place is divide into two. A gastro pub with I presume the same menu. Nice background music. Was a little noisy, but hey, we are in America. We had drinks there, then transferred to the restaurant. Just a very nice evening. Well done.

Great but simple French cuisine in a beautiful setting. Try the steak frites (true French fries) with the truffle sauce or the salmon over white beans with pesto sauce. The profiteroles were the largest ever. If Napoleon sends these to the Russians he doesn't lose at Waterloo. Ask for waitress "Betty Boop," she's a great French waitress.
