We stopped in on a Monday morning, headed out of town, after hearing good things from other reviewers. Apparently they aren't prepared for late (9am) breakfast. While the warming trays were still full of food, it all tasted like the sterno had been spilled in to it... over cooked eggs, terrible grits, etc. We were charged $7 a plate and... More

Where to begin? The ribs were so tender that they were almost falling off the bone. The red rice was oh so good. The mac and cheese was a little salty. Three sides come with an entree. We went on a Sunday afternoon. Although the restaurant was busy, the line moved efficiently. I went to the bathroom on the first... More

Visiting Savannah on a Girls Getaway and our first food experience was at Sisters. The food was Awesome. I will have to say the Hamburger Steak has got to be the best I've ever tasted (even over mine) in my life. My friends raved about the fried chicken, sweet potatoes and ribs. The service we received at the counter ordering... More

If you are looking for truth authentic southern cuisine this is it! The one I went to is served cafeteria style so you see everything before you eat. I can't lie that made it a little difficult to make a decision, but you really can't go wrong! They let you sample items before you purchase which is awesome.

We went to Sisters after visiting the Bonaventure Cemetery. The food was very good, and the staff was polite. Probably the best fried chicken I've had.

Stop in because heard of restaurant. Didn't care for the atmosphere. The sign outside does not pop we paid more attention to food places on opposite side of street. One of the Line prep woman attitude was bad like she didn't want to be at work today.

Hello Iam12travel, It is upsetting to hear that you did not have a more positive experience at our establishment. We have worked hard to provide our customers with a warm and welcoming environment to consume their meal within so we are disappointed that we did not check this mark in your eyes. All staff members have been trained to provide... More

Sisters of the New South was recommended by a friend and the conductor of The Freedom Trails Tour (which was excellent by the way). The reviews were kinda mixed but we couldn't pass up the Amazon.com deal for two. It was late (9:00PM) when we arrived because we were coming from enjoying some time at Tybee Island. There was a... The food was full of butter, the red velvet cake tasted like clay, and the staff needed some assistance on professionalism. They refunded my money for the cake but this place will be closing soon if it keeps up. The food was over priced and I could've gotten a $5 box from KFC and been ten times more satisfied. The... I ordered the oxtails with macaroni-n-cheese, yams, and greens. They were out of yams, so I had okra-n-tomatoes. Cornbread came with the meal. All delicious!
