Wonderful food

I had oxtails they had a little too much gristle for me. However the fried okra was probably the best I have ever eaten! And I love fried okra. I also had macaroni and cheese and lima beans. The macaroni and cheese was wonderful and a lima beans were good too but not extraordinary. I also had... read more

Lunch is always a good experience here. Great variety of homecooked favs like oxtails, fried chicken, tomatoes and okra, beans and rice. Service with a smile and a very clean atmosphere. I return again and again.

I went with friends in October and was disappointed. Sisters used to be delicious but since opening a 2nd location, it isn't the same. I picked up food to take home to the family a couple of weeks later and the only thing my family ate was the fried chicken. The sides were either burnt or tasted old. Gave them... More

Was recommended by our hotel as we wanted to get Fried Chicken. Restaurant was clean and friendly. When you go in, you need to go to the food counter to pick out your meal. It is loaded with options. We ordered the Fried Chicken with sides and it was excellent. The mac and cheese was a bit cold and not... More

Why struggle at home trying to make authentic southern fried chicken and soul food when you can just go over to the sisters. The sisters know what Southern fried chicken is all about, they know the fix’ns. You could never make what they make. Just go and enjoy. The one on Skidaway is the best. We love the sisters.

This restaurant is quaint to say the least, but don't let appearances fool you. This restaurant served me and my church trip attendees some of the best food we have ever had. The staff was very accommodating. The menu had an enormous variety of comfort food. And don't forget the homemade desserts - the Red, Green and White velvet cake!... More

We took a cab from the Historic District to get there, but well worth it. Anyone looking for authentic soul food has to visit. Nothing pretentious or glamorous, but the food is simple yet delicious. Like a meal you may cook for yourself. I even got some fried chicken and corn bread to go.

Pooler Ga...The cashier was nice...the food was ok. It could have been better if the chicken was fresher. It had been sitting for a while. Some of the other workers were not so friendly. I've visited Sisters at other locations and the food was great and the staff was amazing..so I suggest this location step up their customer service and... More
