This is a nice bustling place that evokes feelings of nostalgia, however the food is just pretty good pub fare. And hey sometimes that's good enough, but the last few times we went, nobody actually raved about what they had. Better burgers can be had at B & D or Circa, and even there highly recommended club sandwich was really... More

We were in Savannah for 4 days and on the last day we had lunch at the Crystal Beer Parlor. It wasn't as conveniently located as other restaurants, but it was worth driving to it. I got the feeling that this is a favorite of the locals. We had a good experience from the greeting to the food to the... More

We (my daughter and myself) stopped in at the Crystal Beer Parlor for lunch. It was hopping with business folks on their lunch break. We split the flounder and it was still too much food! We chose the vinaigrette slaw and smashed potatoes as our sides. The slaw was soooo good!

Not from the area, but friends that knew the area suggested it and met us here. Luckily we got there early enough as about 12:30pm it looked like a long wait for a table. Food was excellent, most of us had burgers, I had the Au Poivre burger which was fantastic. The peppercorn made the burger, very savory meal. Service... More

We were a group of 7 guys that found our way to this old time saloon the food was excellent...and filled us up. The size of the burgers and entrées will satisfy big men. Better yet was the selection and price of beer. The staff added to a wonderful ambiance. We were able to relax, have dinner and linger for... More

From the girl at the Host stand who said "don't worry, I'll find you. I have my ways" to the service at the bar, we were more than happy. Then we ate! I had the Southbound Witt (a local wheat beer) and my husband a local ale (he also had some Ballantine, which he was very excited to discover they... More

Just far enough away from the main area so as not to be a tourist trap. However, expect a small wait because it is popular destination for locals in the area.

This is a great place to visit for an evening meal though probably not a place for a special occasion because it is quite loud and casual. The service and ambience are really good as is the food. It is also great value for money. We would definitely recommend it.

I'm so pleased that you enjoyed your visit! We welcome visitors near and far to experience a taste of Savannah's past. If you're looking for a quiet, romantic place, keep looking! We tend to be lively, boisterous and a bit loud! Thank you so very much for coming - next time you're in the States, come see us! John Nichols... More

The food and service at this restaurant was average. A local recommended this place so I had high expectations and found the restaurant to be average. Some of the memorabilia on the wall was not family friendly.

With nothing specified to justify your average review of our place I can only shrug my shoulders and respect the fact that everyone is entitled to an opinion. We have welcomed hundreds if not thousands of families with children ranging in age from infancy to teenage. This is the first time I've had anyone comment that anything about our place... More

The place is highly recommended by the locals. Busy restaurant, with friendly, knowledgable staff. Good, stick to your ribs food. Rachel was a wonderful waitress.
