Even though the Crystal Beer Parlor is not located in the heart of the historic district, it's worth the few extra blocks to eat here. There was a small wait, but the hostess was very friendly & made the wait pleasant. The food was outstanding, especially the homemade chips. Also, the drink sizes were very generous. I got the feeling... More

My husband and I don't drink, but upon recommendation, took time to stop by the Crystal Beer Parlor for lunch on the day we arrived in Savannah. A short walk from the riverfront, we discovered the unpretentious brick building tucked away on a side street, and found ourselves welcomed into a former speakeasy, sitting in one of the original booths... Pretty busy place with a decent selection of both popular domestics as well as some good craft brews. Excellent burger variants, cooked perfectly as ordered and delicious hand cut fries. Would definitely eat here again.

I was recommended this restaurant by the receptionist at the Savannah Bed and Breakfast Inn. I wanted something nearby after a busy day sightseeing. This place was only a couple of blocks from the Inn and was very busy. I got seated quickly and there was a great choice of items on the menu. Service was good and the food... More

This was our first visit to The Crystal Beer Parlor. We had heard so much about it that we had to give it a try. We were able to get a table right away in the bar area. They have the biggest bar I have ever seen I counted 14 stools (all full). We tried the Fried Green Tomatoes which... More

Crystal Beer Parlor is a wonderful local restaurant with real Savannah history. Locals and tourists alike will enjoy the old photos that adorn the walls. Most recent trip we sat at the bar. I was not too hungry. Had the crab stew and greek salad. Not my favorite. The crab stew was great and I will have it again. The... More

We ate here our first night In Savannah. We had fried shrimp tbhat was cooked perfectly. A very good cheeseburger, a delicious BLT, smashed potatoes that were very good and fresh. My mom was the only one who did not care for her deviled crab and the onion rings were way too greasy and no taste but the rest of... More

We had a great meal here. I had the crab soup, which was amazing! I also had the brown ale burger, phenomenal, and my wife had a Greek taco, which was decent as well. Great beer selection.

Great food and beer along with wonderful service makes a winning combination. I would definitely come back here. The selections of beers is 4 pages in the drinks menu. Heck they even have Angry Orchard Cider on tap. You can't go wrong here.
