There are good reasons for the perpetual line out the door of this place: the food, the friendly service, the good vibes. If you aren't comfortable standing or waiting, go early for dinner, before six, and seat yourself at the bar which offers the full menu and the added bonus, if you're lucky as we were last night, of having... I was pleasantly surprised when we stumbled upon this hidden gem. The wait is worth it. My husband and I shared the seafood platter. The fried shrimp, oysters, and flounder were all superb and the crab cake was outstanding. The drinks as well as the service was good. Will definitely dine here on our next trip to savannah.

Seriously I'm writing this without leaving the table; we came to the restaurant after reading all the reviews. The reviews are not wrong, the place has great food, great atmosphere, great staff!! We had the avocado hummus; wow! We also ordered the club cheeseburger, just freaking great! Guys if you are ever in Savannah this is a must visit, DO... More

As other reviewers have said this place is super busy. Don't get excited if you go in the back door like we did and get excited that it isn't that busy because you will find out when you go to the hostess stand at the front and see the line! But if you do go in the back. The tip... More

We've been here twice, both times perfect. Yew, this place is quite popular so get there early. We arrived on a Friday night about 6 and only had a 1/2 hour wait. When we left, the line had at least 50 people in it and was strung out to the parking lot! Peach cobbler delicious, enough for 2 to share.... More

We booked our trolly tour @ the Oglethorpe Tours Welcome Center. The lovely woman who sold us our tour package (didnt get her name, darn it!) recommended we lunch @ the crystal beer parlor. What a GREAT place. It is very "old time-y" the walls are covered with old pictures & advertising for the Savannah area. we found the place... More

Great recommendation from a local and we had a delightful experience. Service was warm, welcoming and attentive. Our only regret is that we didn't save room for peach cobbler because we ate too many appetizers. AuPoive burger is a must, crab dip is delish and sweet tea is served in a glass that is as big as a bucket. Skip... More

We got referred to this restaurant by our tour guide on a trolley tour and I'm very happy we listened! The place is very charming, the service was great, and the food was amazing! We had the meatloaf, which was their special for the day. Probably the best meat loaf I've ever had.

For the third evening in succession I tried to get a table here - I failed each time. I am here on my own - staying over between business meetings - so I don't like waiting to be sat for 30-45 minutes for a table, so the last couple of nights I took one look at the crowds of people... More

From St. Patrick's Day through April, there is so much activity in town - the Savannah Music Festival, The Tour of Homes, special events and performers at the Civic Center, major conventions and folks who just want to see Savannah in bloom at the first of Spring. After the winter we had, locals are out soaking up the rays, too.... More

We were tired and hungry after a long day of traveling. This hit the spot. The food selection was good. The servings were plenty. The wait staff was great. We had burgers which were very large. Save room for dessert. We splurged on the peach cobbler which was wonderful. Good selection of beer.
