My husband and I went here for dinner following the Old City Walks Craft Beer Tour. The bar is huge and nice. The bartenders were attentive. We had a few good drinks while waiting 30 minutes for a table. Not bad for a Saturday evening! Both tour guides and our Inn Keeper recommended this place as a great local spot... More

Great historic joint in Savannah with an old time atmosphere. Most of the restaurant is set up in booths with some tables and a bar for seating. The menu consists of sandwiches, burgers, salads, and some entrees. The prices are in the $8-$18 range and are reasonable for the portions. I had the bison burger which is not 100% bison... More

Three of us walked to the Crystal Beer Parlor for dinner on the recommendation of the hotel. We knew we wanted beer and good food was a must. We shared the Fried Green Tomatoes and the Crab Dip. I would go back for the tomatoes and the homemade chips with the dip were legit. Dinner was a mixed bag -... More

I guess this place is well loved locally and it was recommended to us by some locals. My burger was good, but not amazing. Maybe I just didn't order the right burger! The atmosphere in the bar area seemed way more interesting than the booth we were seated at in the back of the restaurant which seemed dated and quiet.

The food was delicious. The portions were perfect. Split several dishes between friends from appetizers to desserts. Enjoyed them all! Our server was patient and helpful.

Even though the Crystal Beer Parlor is not located in the heart of the historic district, it's worth the few extra blocks to eat here. There was a small wait, but the hostess was very friendly & made the wait pleasant. The food was outstanding, especially the homemade chips. Also, the drink sizes were very generous. I got the feeling... More

My husband and I don't drink, but upon recommendation, took time to stop by the Crystal Beer Parlor for lunch on the day we arrived in Savannah. A short walk from the riverfront, we discovered the unpretentious brick building tucked away on a side street, and found ourselves welcomed into a former speakeasy, sitting in one of the original booths... Pretty busy place with a decent selection of both popular domestics as well as some good craft brews. Excellent burger variants, cooked perfectly as ordered and delicious hand cut fries. Would definitely eat here again.

I was recommended this restaurant by the receptionist at the Savannah Bed and Breakfast Inn. I wanted something nearby after a busy day sightseeing. This place was only a couple of blocks from the Inn and was very busy. I got seated quickly and there was a great choice of items on the menu. Service was good and the food... More
