Great food, service and a locals fave

It's not a fancy place but full of personality and great food! The portions are huge and they offer an extensive menu.....the bar is a blast to hang out in if you need to wait on an open table for dining ....my visit was during the week and the place was packed out....awesome selection of beers... read more

This was a nice pub to stop in for lunch. Family friendly. We had Burgers and they were very good. Attentive and friendly wait staff as well as our hostess who seated us. The menu had a lot of options to chose from!

Our first night on our vacation brought us to The Crystal Beer Parlor for dinner. Great pub food and an amazing selection of local beers. I can honestly say I had the best Caesars salad and best peach cobbler ever, hands down.

You must get here before 6! Gets crowded!!! Popular spot! Delicious burgers, cooked as you like, are perfect, paired with crispy homemade thick fries or lightly breaded onion rings. Staff is great and attentive. You won't go,wrong coming here. Not a tourist spot since it's a ways from Broughton.

We were going out for a walk after arriving in town and asked at the hotel desk where we might be able to have a late lunch. This spot was first on the list and for us it was perfect. Very comfortable friendly and a healthy beer and ale list. We were both happy with our meal choices and enjoyed... More

Expected better with all the great reviews and the long wait!! This place was very crowded and busy busy busy!! Service was slow and the food was good but not exceptional. It's definitely not worth the long wait to us. At our table we had fried green tomatoes, gumbo, BLT (it was loaded with tasty bacon), and hamburger steak with... More

The BLT "was loaded with tasty bacon", the "fries are great" and you won't come back. I am seriously dumbfounded by your "just ok" review. I sincerely hope you find better than great at other restaurants in town. We offer classic American fare that according to you was "great" but you won't return for another visit. Lawd, hep me! More

Tried two other restaurants this trip. Wish I had gone to Crystal Beer Parlor for crab stew, Greek salad, and fried shrimp instead.....

We planned to visit Crystal Beer Parlor for lunch based on an online recommendation for a good place to eat with kids. We also asked a local for her recommendations and this was at the top of the list! We knew we were in for a treat. The crab dip appetizer was just right - not too crabby but not... More
