Midnight in the Parlor of Good Brew and Revelry

This Savannah landmark restaurant was highly recommended but the food is just o.k. and the service as slow as molasses. The staff is friendly, though, and the place has a lot of atmosphere.

This restaurant is about a five minute walk from Mrs Wilkes Restaurant, which we did not go to because the waiting line to get in was about 45 minutes and I don't wait on line that long to give someone my money. The Crystal Beer Parlor was recommended to me when I was waiting in line at Mrs Wilkes. I... More

Only there for one night, but picked this place to eat. Definitely a good choice. Had a great hamburger the house brand.

It's got quite the history, food is good. Go for the chefs special and you won't be disappointed. It's a hidden of the main drag so it's not bombarded with too many tourist.

The tap and spirits selection is awesome. Knowledgeable and friendly bartenders and a lot of local beer. We waited at the bar for our table and had a great time. The food was also really good once we got our table. They were busy, but everything tasted great.

Visited Savannah last weekend (7/24) & looked for a restaurant in walking distance of our rented townhouse. Yes, it was Friday night in savannah and everyone is busy, but what was promised as 45 minutes was an hour and a half. Once seated, the service was good and the food far above average. Keep in mind, this is southern cooking... More

Thanks for stopping by! I think you'd be surprised by the number of doctors and cardiologists who are regulars at our place! The menu is chocked full of leaner, lighter fare. Our hummus, our large dinner salads with grilled shrimp or chicken, Baked fish, our blackened chicken veggie wrap, our salmon burger, our veggie burger and our fresh sauteed vegetables... More

Consistently a positive experience. Good service, varied menu, decent food and prices. Locals are fans of this restaurant. They have their own parking lot. There are great old pictures all over the walls and everyone has a story about the place or a friend or relative on the walls.

More kind words from a local! Thanks so very much! I grew up in Savannah and the Crystal was a part of my childhood. Sometimes I feel like a custodian for one of Savannah's historic places because so many people tell us stories about fond memories of the Crystal or the faces and places on the walls. Please know you... More

As many times we have been to Savannah, how have I never known of Crystal Beer Parlor? We found it though, through Trip Advisor, and it did not disappoint! First and foremost, we read other reviews..."Get there early." And we did just after they opened Saturday morning. No problem parking and seated immediately. Our server was very friendly and accommodating.... More

Tried the gumbo, shrimp salad sandwich, and chicken cordon bleu sandwich. Food was good and prices were decent. Large draft beer selection - many local/state brewed options. Plan on waiting 30+ minutes to get in as it is a popular place!
