Wheelchair accessible. Convenient to historic area. Ribs were dry rubbed and smoked, you can add sauce if you want but the ribs were the best I have eaten and that is a lot. Had a side of fried okra. Not open for dinner I don't know why.

We stopped in for lunch after walking around town. I got the pulled pork bbq sandwich and fries. It was called the city-slicker with a little bit of coleslaw and a mustard bbq sauce. So delicous! the bbq was falling out of my sandwich because there was sooo much of it. They definately give you a good serving and I... More

We LOVED the food but were disappointed about the hours. We got there right at closing but they were willing to go over and beyond to fix us each a sandwich. All I can say is that their pork BBQ sandwich was THE best I've ever had anywhere! The bad thing is we had to take our food over to... More

Off on a side street, a good small BBQ restaurant for lunch. No wait, good food, right near the middle of the historic district. Pleasant staff.

Great treat we happened to stumble upon on our trip to Savannah this week! Apr-9-12th. Fantastic pulled pork, best southern home-style macaroni, fried okra and fast service! Great southern gem!

My husband and I were looking for another bbq place but they were sold out of bbq. We saw this olace and decided to try it. I got the brisket, came out warm and has more of a propane flavor rather than a smokey flavor. However the portion is huge and came with lots of fries. My husband's pulled pork... More

We really enjoyed our food and the service. The food is the best BBQ I have had in a long time. The staff was sweet and when one of the kitchen staff heard my son was thinking of going to college in Savannah, he took time to come out and talk to him. Nice place to refuel and rest after... More

Stopped here for lunch and the girl we ordered from was short, rude and impatient. When she brought out our food it was the same thing. She had forgotten our sauce and said she'd be right back with it, but a few minutes later she was just cleaning off tables and we had to ask for our sauce arty which... More

We stopped at this place for lunch while in Savannah. We were looking for something for lunch that was different and someplace local. We prefer to eat at local establishments while on vacation and skipping most of the chains. The BBQ was excellent and they give you plenty & very reasonably priced also. I definitely would recommend and would eat... More

Overall, I would recommend the BBQ from Smokey Bones or any national chain before Barnes. Judging by the clientele, this is a popular place for nearby office-workers to stop by for lunch and for students to hang out with friends. We found it on a tourist map, because we noticed some other restaurants advertised on the map were recommended by... More
