As advertised

Came here based on trip advisor reviews, and was not disappointed. Service was perfect and fried chicken outstanding. The riverfront is great for grabbing a drink and walking around but if you are looking for a great southern meal with superb service this is the place to be.

This is the basement of the Old Pink House. It is lit only with candle light. You can eat down here, but it is a first come (no reservations). We had a cocktail down here before going up to the restaurant.

This is located in he basement of the pink house and has a feel as you would expect of a house built in late 1700's. Just a great environment and the food and service were equally as good. Had music as well. Would suggest to management they add a picture or two of the interior to show feel the setting.... More

Planters Tavern is a cellar bar underneath The Old Pink House restaurant. It has no natural light, the only light being when the door opens! it is entirely lit by candles so is dark and atmospheric. It has an entirely different feel to 'upstairs' (white table cloths and chandeliers), but has exactly the same menu (and prices). The food and... More

My husband and I popped in for a late drink after having a family dinner on Tybee so we were not that hungry but could not resist after we saw the plates of food. The scallops were divine, and you can't pass up the fried green tomatoes - they can tend to be bland - but not these - YUM!... More

This small tavern is loaded with atmosphere. You meet people from all over. Piano bar, dim lights good booze. That says it all.

We read about this bar downstairs from The Olde Pink House, in Southern Living. The ambience was exciting, soothing and jumping, all at the same time. The candlelight and the lovely furnishings and the staff were true Southern graciousness. We had a smattering of different menu items, each better than the last. Don't miss this stop on your Atlanta visit!

This is the underground tavern at the Old Pink House. This used to be an old cellar. They keep the lights very low, and we had to wait a moment for our eyes to adjust. However, the atmosphere, like the restaurant above, is fantastic. Staff is very kind and goes out of their way to help and have a conversation.... More

My husband and I visited on a Wednesday evening after trying to get in on Tuesday night around seven. It was really busy so if you don't want to wait for a bar stool or a table show up by 5:30-6 ....! Parking is on the street if you can find it close by....if you can walk , do it!... More

We went down after dining upstairs at the Olde Pink House for a nightcap. It is dark and moody but in a good way. They had a pianist and bass fiddle player performing which was enjoyable. There is a huge fireplace, a couch and some chairs to sit and hang out near the bar. You can also dine on what... More
