Cozy and quaint!

So quaint! Love the atmosphere here below the Olde Pink House, and the food is delicious! The fireplaces are huge, and the exposed wooden beams make you feel like you stepped back in time. Live piano music sets the stage for a cozy, romantic evening.

We are locals, and we like to go there for a drink or glass of wine in a congenial atmosphere. Patrons have access to the same menu as the rest the venue (The Pink House), and if you like a social drink, or relaxed dining in leather chairs, listening to the piano (or the nice mix of music they put... We had a reservation for the Olde Pink House and we were early so went downstairs to the Tavern. It was dark with a low ceiling, a bit crowded. some people were eating there, others waiting to go upstairs. We got served drinks pretty easily, stood at the bar for a bit then got seats around the fireplace. It was... More

After enjoying a wonderful meal in The Olde Pink House, we went downstairs to the tavern to listen to Diana Rogers at the piano and enjoy chocolate martinis. The staffs was very good, and we received great service. The atmosphere was charming, loved this old building. We had such a good time, we went back for more the next night.

The atmosphere was very cool, not a typical place to eat. The food was an odd combination of awesome to awful. Let's start with the good. The corn bread, biscuits, calimari, fried pork chop and macaroni and cheese were all fabulous. however the collards were so salty (and I like salty foods) they were inedible. The shrimp in the shrimp... More

We went there for my husband's 70th Birthday. It was a neat basement Tavern with excellent food. The Fried Green Tomato and Crabcake appetizer was awesome and the waiter even split it for us! I had the Crab Stuffed Black Grouper and my husband had the Flounder - both were wonderful. We split a warm Blackberry Pie with Lemon Vanilla... More

A friend told us about this place and I'm glad they did. Away from the tourist crowd. Great bar, food, music, it was fun. Small but perfect for drinks and dinner (our intention was just to eat appetizers, but everything looked so good we got carried away. The only negative was the martini was really small and the wine was... More

This place is classic and a must stop. It fits perfectly in a city so rich in history. You can definitly imagine people sipping drinks here 100 plus years ago. It was very rainy when we ducked in here one June evening while we were visiting. We ended up staying here for quite some time because the music was nice... More

In the basement of the Old Pink House is one of Savannah's best kept dining secrets. You can enjoy the fine dining of the Old Pink House with no reservation and a short wait in a room resplendent with atmosphere - wood beams, mahogany bar, leather sofas, intimate tables and even a piano. In the summer, the small tavern is... More
