Description: Lautrec truly is one of the finest dining experiences in the country....
Lautrec truly is one of the finest dining experiences in the country. Having been awarded both the Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five-Diamond awards for 2014, Lautrec is only one of 28 restaurants in the world to hold both a Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five-Diamond award simultaneously. Lautrec's culinary style is influenced by European cuisine. Using the finest ingredients found locally and internationally, Chef Butterworth and her team carefully prepare ingredients with whimsy and comfort in mind, to create a truly unique and approachable Five-Star / Five-Diamond dining experience. The menu is a prix-fixe format which welcomes guests to create their own four-course menu. Guests looking to opt out of decision making can rely upon Chef Butterworth and our resident Sommelier's evening recommendations and dine from our seven-course Chef's Tasting menu. Caviar, champagne and a selection of artisanal cheeses are offered a la carte to heighten the experience. Options for a Vegetable or Vegan Tasting menu are also available. The word "experience" is used frequently when describing Lautrec, because the Tasting Menu format, rich atmosphere and exceptional customer service lend itself to an evening of gastronomical entertainment rather than an evening meal.

Prefix menu at lautrek

Pricy but well worth the price, fantastic dinner experience, I did love when they had items on the menu, but the prefix options are outstanding and delivered perfectly !

Awesome brunch, can't wait to return. The selection was amazing and the complimentary mimosa's were appreciated.

We had enjoyed dining at Nemacolin Woodlands many times and thought this would be a good choice for a Christmas brunch. The two hostesses kindly greeted us and took us to our table after showing us the buffet stations. A waitress offered us a complimentary beverage of champagne, mimosa, or Bloody Mary. Other brunches were in a large dining area,... More

I like Sunday brunch and have been to many in the Pittsburgh area, including Station square, Lydia's, etc. This one out did them all, completely over the top. Best spread of food I have ever seen and everything was so fresh. From the fresh baked pastries to the large peeled crab claws, huge shrimp, smoked salmon and great sauces and... More

We pick the four course menu, we were three. The amazing foie gras was enough for 8 people, but three of us finish it. Definitely the Pork entree was not good at all. Keep away from it. The Wagyu beef was ok, nothing special. I will not go back there for the food, but ambience and service was very nice.... More

Sunday Brunch at Lautrec issomething everyone should experience. Make sure to have reservations as we saw guests who were unable to be seated due to reservations. We were seated immediately due to our reservation. The service is impeccable. There are 3 stations--cold, dessert/pastries, and hot food. The food was delicious and the staff kept it full the entire time. They... More

Lautrec has numerous accolades and awards and all are well deserved. This is a very special restaurant. The meal was incredible with lots of little surprises. The service was perfect. This is a perfect pick for any special occasion. You must try it at least once!

It took a VERY long time for anyone to bring menus. Service overall was quite OFF. We selected the four course fix prix menu. The $90 extra per person for wine to pair with 4 courses was steep, especially since my friend isn't a wine person. So we went with a $115 bottle of pinot noir once we got the... More

The food is unique and interesting. Everything we had tasted good. The staff refuses to smile and is extremely slow. It took 25 minutes for us to receive the initial drink order. The staff brought butter and other condiments but never brought any bread or rolls. My wife and I have been more warmly received in an all you can... More

Service was good after we finally were met for dinner seating. Nice choice of prixe fix menu items. This is definitely a luxury high-end restaurant. Check out the website for food selection and pricing first to make sure this is what you are looking for. Very nice wine list. The Salmon selection and Desserts were probably our favorites. Timing of... More
