Description: Lautrec truly is one of the finest dining experiences in the country. Having been awarded both the Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five-Diamond awards for 2014, Lautrec is only one of 28 restaurants in the world to hold both a Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five-Diamond award simultaneously. Lautrec's culinary style is influenced by European cuisine. Using the finest ingredients found locally and internationally, Chef Butterworth and her team carefully prepare ingredients with whimsy and comfort in mind, to create a truly unique and approachable Five-Star / Five-Diamond dining experience. The menu is a prix-fixe format which welcomes guests to create their own four-course menu. Guests looking to opt out of decision making can rely upon Chef Butterworth and our resident Sommelier's evening recommendations and dine from our seven-course Chef's Tasting menu. Caviar, champagne and a selection of artisanal cheeses are offered a la carte to heighten the experience. Options for a Vegetable or Vegan Tasting menu are also available. The word "experience" is used frequently when describing Lautrec, because the Tasting Menu format, rich atmosphere and exceptional customer service lend itself to an evening of gastronomical entertainment rather than an evening meal.

We dined at Lautrec the first night of our three day stay at Nemacolin and were particularly impressed with the ambiance of this restaurant. The sommelier was outstanding and offered a sample of each of the two white wines my wife desired to try-a very meaningful touch. Both of us chose the four course menu which was exceptional. The attentive... More

With the kid at kids camp, we decided to splurge on an evening at Lautrec and are glad we did. We opted for the four course menu -- and one of us did the wine pairing. That was the first excellent decision. The sommelier was excellent: friendly, patient and interesting. We loved chatting with him about the different wines that... More

We have enjoyed Sunday Brunch at Lautrec for sevaral years during our annual stay at Nemacolin. The variety and quality are both fantastic. In a "cold" buffet in the dining room they offer a large selection of cold seafoods (shrimp, crab claws, sushi, oyster shooters), prepared salads, fruits, cheeses and nuts as well as a salad bar complimented with fresh... Lautrec is truly five star dining, with exceptionally well trained staff and a great setting. They were very good (not perfect unfortunately, but we caught it in time) when it came to allergy diet restrictions. The rest of the restaurants at Nemacolin were far less careful about that. Every course of the prix fixe dinner was great, though on the... More

While staying at Nemacolin, we decided to have a nice dinner at Lautrec - we just didn't realize how nice it would be! It's a very nice setting with excellent service. We chose to have the Four Course meal instead of the Chef's Tasting, but that looked awesome too. I started with the RAMP CRUSTED MAINE SCALLOP with Couscous Risotto,... More

Excellent food and service. Breakfast before we departed resort was a good way to finish our stay. We recommend that every guest have a least one meal at the Lautrec.

This is not an inexpensive restaurant. This is a true five-star restaurant, comparable to the best in the world anywhere, which will cost about $200 per person. If you are the type of person who goes to the Olive Garden or TGI Fridays and is perfectly happy with the food there, don't go to Lautrec. If you are the type... More

Driving from Pittsburgh to celebrate a special birthday with Sunday brunch at Lautrec was supposed to be extraordinary. Instead we drank cold coffee, ate tasteless filet, were served waffles that had been sitting under a heat lamp when the chef was standing at the station doing nothing. Some of the servers couldn't tell us ingredients to ward off reactions from... More

Terry, our server, was energetic, helpful, and knowledgeable about all items on the menu. One of the nicest dining experiences one could have. Very expensive which isn't made clear in advance until you see the menu, but it's worth the splurge! Due to the cost and ambiance, recommended for a very special occasion.

i treated my husband to Lautrec for his "big" birthday and, while impressed with the ambience, presentation, and service, we were sorely disappointed in the food. We are not unfamiliar with haute cuisine, having traveled to Europe many times, but the portions at Lautrec were ridiculously small and the prices insanely big, i.e.the tab for the two of us was...
