I shall go somewhere else Nevermore!

First things first, I'm huge Poe fan so I sought this place out and had high hopes for it. It did not disappoint! From the minute we walked in the door, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. This is a neat little place. Well decorated with a fun atmosphere. Food was really good, especially the BBQ chicken nachos. Fish tacos were good but not outstanding. Service was excellent! Consider making reservations since it is small. The bar is nice though.

We came back here (from SF) just to have the duck fat fries again. Their burgers are large and tasty, as well. We've had the crispy brussell sprouts with honey herb drizzle, which was good, but somewhat expensive for the portion. The drinks are pretty good, although I had the Black Cat, which I tasted more coffee than anything else.... More

I surprised my wife for our anniversary with a dinner here. She and I love to go to places themed on what we like to call deep American history. We love anything that touches on something we grew up hearing about and who has not ever heard of Edger Allen Poe. So when I found this I was very excited... More

Family of four - two boys, 11 & 4. We were at the aquarium and didn't want to eat at the waterfront. This place was an amazing find! Four meals, two adult beverages & a dessert for $88 including tip. Everything was delicious! We had the crab cake sandwich, pulled pork, grilled chicken with crab dip & cheese, quesadillas, caramel... More

You will not be disappointed. Friendly vibes, great intimate setting in a real neighborhood in Baltimore. Nice wine selection, varied menu with tasty dishes!!! Service is excellent. Both my friend and I enjoyed the Edgar Allan Poe theme. Ratings on TA are well deserved.

Always a good time with fantastic food here! Their honey roasted brussel sprouts are by far the best I've ever eaten. The Guinness steak pie is totally slamming as well. Good beer and drink variety. Service is very good.

I live a few block from this restaurant and don't eat here often enough. The atmosphere is quaint, charming and perfect for a night out with your friends, or loved one. The whole restaurant revolves around Edgar Allan Poe and his poetry. Very cool! The food is well seasoned and slightly on heavier side but they do have some lighter... More

I have to be honest.....I had very high expectations based on the many excellent reviews. service was great, good beers, nice ambience. the food was good but not exceptional. the crab cake was very good, but the sides and the dessert was nothing special.

We had heard only positive reviews of this slightly out of the way restaurant. On the first floor of a neighborhood of row houses, we soon discovered how clever the designer of the restaurant is. It is cozy, but not cramped. The menu contains Baltimore classics, such as a crabcake with large lumps of crab, as well as more unusual... More
