What an amazing experience in this quaint place. Our server, Jeannie was amazing! Very attentive. The food was delicious. While other reviews raved about the crab dip flatbread, we felt it lacking in flavor. Everything else was delicious. The crab stuffed shrimp was excellent with a large amount of lump crab. The fish tacos were perfect. The duck fat fries... More

This place is really small and really unique. We sat at the bar since there were only 3 of us. The beer and speciality drink selection was awesome. We had the duck fat fries as an appetizer. I don't usually say things are delicious but they certainly were worth every calorie. I had the Annapolis chicken sandwich with sweet potato... More

My daughter lives nearby and has eaten there several times but on this visit we had a "girl" outing and walked with her baby in the stroller. Ate outside as inside is small so we enjoyed the nice evening and had room for the stroller. The waiter was great - friendly and helpful. I had the meatloaf at his suggestion... More

The meal my wife and I had here was delicious. But the thing that stands out most to me was the duck fat fries. Everything and more that it sounds like. These fries were crispy, and delicious and perfectly cooked. Probably the best I ever had. Still bugging her to get back down there for some more. We live over... More

Annabel Lee's breaks the mold vs. most restaurants in the area. Take a look at their menu and you'll see what I mean. The BBQ Chicken nachos were homemade and probably the best I've ever had. Their sweet potato fries are really good too. The entrees looked good and will have to try some next time. Also have heard they... More

It is a Tues but I made reservations anyway, no problem it was not full. There are no true dinner tables and our party of 4 was sat at a small high top w round wood stools. It was very uncomfortable and too little. Our waitress was nice and in the beginning attentive but that was short lived. I read... More

We made a 7pm reservation on a Friday night....so glad we did. The place was packed when we arrived, but we were seated immediately. Our server, Paul, was spot-on. Professional & efficient, but still laid back. We ordered a bottle of wine & settled in. The restaurant is small. We sat at a high top table along the wall, parallel... More

In town for the 17th time visiting our son and finally got to try Annabel Lee's, a must for this Poe fan and Tripadvisor review-reader! The decor is adorably Poe-centric but tasteful, the drinks strong and unique (I tried The Raven) and all four of our dinners outstanding. We agree that the duck-fat fries are the best fries in the... I visited the Annabel LeeTavern after reading the excellent reviews on trip advisor. Well the other reviewers were correct. I went with the crab cake platter. When i put the first morsel in my mouth, I felt like I as going to heaven! It was mostly lump crab meat, and the spices were very special. The place is rather small... More

Make sure you also get the Brussels sprouts! Go early, be prepared to sit at the bar or try for reservations. These are the the best crab cakes I've ever had!
