A local's place

A place you feel welcome, good food, reasonably priced. Solid Irish food with some Baltimore favorites thrown in. Excellent fish and chips. Great burger. Shepherd's Pie looked fantastic. We will definitely be going back again and again.

Very friendly neighborhood pub. The shepherd's pie is excellent! The place is small but they had no trouble seating us. Many beers to choose from.

Our innkeeper recommended this tiny little neighborhood restaurant and bar saying that their crabcakes were better than the ones at the restaurants that had been on television. And he was right! They were full of crabmeat, no fillers, prepared just right. The mashed potatoes were heavenly and the green beans crisp, but not raw. This restaurant spoiled us for crabcakes... More

Great food in a typical little Irish pub. Great beer selection. Very good Rueban sandwich at a reasonable price. Tad noisy

Good food for a reasonable price. The first day we had fried oysters and a steak salad. And a beer (a sort of local beer: summer ale). They let you taste the beers before you order. Magnificent. The second day - we kept coming back! - we had a caesar salad and fish and chips. On both days we the... More

The food was good and the ambiance was fun and casual. Location was perfect for us as we were staying at a wonderful B &B just a short walk away.

I found their "pub food" outstanding! They do not pretend to be "fine dining" but what they do offer is super tasty. I would caution those who do not understand the word HOT, they should proceed with extreme caution! Thee folks are not kidding about the heat levels, so please check with your server. You can always add heat, however... More

I love Life of Reilly. The atmosphere is the atmosphere of your typical pub in Ireland...not a lot of fanfare, small bar area with TV's and small dinner area. What makes it great is the food...went for lunch and had the house burger and crab soup. I have never had their crab soup before but WOW!!! Worth every bit... I... More

Really uninspired food from a place that used to be pretty good. The salad had tasteless store bought croutons and not enough dressing, the steamed shrimp came with canned cocktail sauce and the shepherds pie had no seasoning. Will not be returning.

Typical pub, but trivia night was fun. Food was fine enough, very popular spot for young people. We were there the night before surgery, so we probably weren't really looking for a rousing time.
