Disappointing trip to Woodberry kitchen. Server brought food out on top of each other. Salads came when we were still eating our cheese plate. Same thing happened to the table next to us with their appetizers. I ordered scallops for dinner and they were very over cooked and hard. Usually love woodberry kitchen but this was surprising. Don't lose your... More

From out of town and found this highly rated gem on-line. Interesting neighborhood and industrial warehouse setting with warm rustic atmosphere. Innovative drinks, amazing food, friendly helpful service. Pearl was informative. We feel lucky to have enjoyed this excellent restaurant.

We took my brother to Woodberry while he was visiting from the west coast. The meal was perfect. We talked about what he would do next year when he came out- every year I take him to a new restaurant. He said "I dont think you can top Woodberry". The old stone building is warm and comfortable. We were seated... More

The food is fresh and organic and prepared with innovation and care. Atmosphere is lively. Service is attentive. Somewhat pricey

Went here for a birthday. The menu was equally strong in fish, chicken and beef options, with perfectly cooked vegetables. Desserts were lovely and tasty. Overall, a real treat.

The local and sustainable emphasis is admirable, but it's the quality of the menu that brings us back. Rockfish, scallops, steak, Chesapeake oysters, root vegetables (it's winter) - Woodberry does it all well. Waiter genuinely knowledgeable about cooking methods, and wine sommelier came by table to assist. The prices are high, and the room can be noisy. But we come... More

Clearly, the many favorable professional restaurant reviews will send people to WK. It takes weeks to get a reservation. The locale and the interior spaces are great. However, in my opinion, the food is overrated and definitely overpriced. The menu is rather limited, and your choices go from $15 'flatbreads' - really glorified small pizzas - to $30 small plate... This place is not easy to locate but it's worth the trip. Had weekend brunch (first visit) and it was good. Trendy and hip with a wide range of patrons- grandparents, parents and young 20 something's. Started with the Savory Scone- good flavor but it could have been warmed a bit. It tasted like it had just been defrosted. Coffee... More

When people gush over a restaurant, I tend to think that the reviews are too good to be true. However in this case, Woodberry Kitchen hits it out of the park. The food is inventive without being over the top so unusual that you can's recognize it. The service is excellent--attentive without being overbearing. The decor is very interesting and... More

Woodberry's is hard to find, and you basically must use the valet parking. They bill themselves as a Farm to Table restaurant, which, when you think about, what restaurant isn't? It's food, it comes from a farm. It's served at a table. It's been a few weeks since we've been there, I don't recall exactly what we had. It was... More
