Super Authentic Food But Over-Rated

A pioneer in the food-to-table trend, this award-winning restaurant works hard on great food but the service is a bit lackluster. Nearly everything on the menu is excellent.

This is our go-to whenever an event like a birthday, an engagement, or an anniversary comes up. The food is delicious and local. They change their menu almost every day and they use fresh ingredients you don't need to feel guilty about. The prices aren't cheap but it makes up for it in quality, taste, and atmosphere. This is not... More

My kids thought the flatbreads were better than pizza. Enchiladas out of the Oven were delicious-a perfect blend of savory and spicy. I had the Gold Potato Has Browns and thought the combo of asparagus, green tomato, the sweet potato and the caramalized onions was a surprising new take on a comforting staple. Try the spicy One Straw Farm Bloody... More

Amazingly awesome!!! If you've been here you already know that this is quite possibly the best restaurant in Baltimore. If you haven't been, I suggest you fix that ASAP! I have never been anywhere better.

I thought about not writing anything, but my family twisted my arm. (Why say anything and have hordes of people show up? Better to keep this gem a secret.) Well, here goes.. The food was superb. Fresh, innovative, locally sourced ingredients combined with charming and novel techniques created cuisine that is recognizable, but not. For instance, I had scallops in... More

The hype about this place is well deserved. Once you get over the hipster vibe of the place and staff the food is wonderful and the cocktails are amazing. Service was fast and professional and the place was packed even though we ate at 5.30. Somehow it manages to be very classy and still be very Baltimore at the same... More

We had heard about Woodberry Kitchen from so many people that we knew we had to try it. We made reservation for a Monday night to celebrate my husband's birthday. Our reservation was for 8.15 and it was surprising how crowded it was! It was loud and we requested a change in table, which was gladly accommodated. I ordered a... More

We're from out of town, but I stumbled across this place online and made a reservation for a late brunch. The restaurant is really beautiful in an apparent up and coming old warehouse district they seem to be converting to a trendy new neighborhood. We sat outside which was beautiful. It was very sunny and a bit hot, but they... More

We had heard wonderful things about Woodberry Kitchen and loved the rustic restored building and the valet service for our car. The food was tremendous in quality and presentation but ridiculously stingy in the size of the portions. If we had not ordered a dessert we would have left hungry. Some restaurants do this evidently to add to their mystique... More
