My husband and I finally booked ahead enough to get reservations when we wanted to go! Our 7:30 reservations didn't get us seated until almost 8pm so I was a tad annoyed upon being seated. BUT, after the first bite of my crab pot appetizer I fell in love. Woodberry is true farm to table with only the freshest of... More

The steak tartare was incredibly light and fresh, the beet salad was delicious, and the pheasant, while dry, was upstaged by roasted vegetables bursting with flavor. I recommend trying a cocktail--there is a very creative and diverse selection, and the barman made them strong. The atmosphere is warm and inviting with rustic wood and stone and shelves of put-up tomatoes... More

The creamy tomato soup used buttermilk and fresh dill but evoked memories of my favorite gazpacho recipe from the Vegetarian Epicure cookbook. Rockfish was so fresh with an adobo seasoning and individual oysters prepared like a Maryland style soup. My favorite wine, cocktails crafted with local ingredients, and a lovely choice of homemade gelatos - white coffee, blueberry quark, bay,... More

Our first visit several years ago was perfect, everything from the service, food and ambiance. Our recent visit was less good. Our waiter was attentive, kind, and sweet to our child. The kale salad, and bean dip were yummy. My husband loved his steak. Unfortunately the rockfish was dry and lacked flavor. The beer list was disappointing. The darkest beer... More

Our first visit and certainly not the last!! A treasure trove of nice service, flavors, textures, and variety. Our dining expereince was exceptionaln every way. The building is a renovated/rebuild steel mill. Much exposed brick, locely architectural deatains are subtley showcased, soaring ceilings, simple decore, with incredible staff and food. With its top rating, one could expect hovering wait staff... More

This is one of those "must try" places. The restaurant is in a converted sail factory and has a very fun "casual chic" feel. They use all local and natural ingredients - and their food and drinks are very creative and very well executed. We tried three items - and all were outstanding. The service was also very friendly, knowledgeable,... More

Was surprised at how down to earth this restaurant is, considering the accolades. Basic comfort food with a contemporary flair. Deviled eggs, snake popcorn, brick chicken all were mouth-watering and memorable. Butterscotch pudding took me back to my childhood. Neat atmosphere with a factory-cool farmhouse feel.

First, make a reservation! If you get there early enough you might be able to grab a spot at the bar, but if you don't want to wait make a reservation. I took my parents here for my mom's birthday and it was perfect! We ordered a little bit of everything. My mom had the squash quiche, it's booming with... More
