Awesome food in a great setting!

This place is seriously cool, inside and out - they did a great job with all the little details of everything. We made reservations to be safe and 4 of us had 4 appetizers, drinks and shared a couple entrees. The staff was super friendly from the greeting at the front door to the servers. The... read more

Food was average to poor, served luke warm to cold plus special fish was overdone. Server was horrible brought 3 main courses then 2 other appeared almost 10 minutes later and the last one a few minutes after that. Flat breads were like bad pizza. Terrible experience all around for a restaurant that is top rated. Don't waste your money... More

Expectations too high? Maybe, since I was pretty disappointed. We began with a glass of Champagne and a trial of Meads from Middletown, MD. The Meads were absolutely wonderful! As a matter of fact, I will visit the producer and buy some for myself. Then we had a $5 Doughnut as a starter. I love doughnuts but this was more... More

I adore this place! My friend who is from Baltimore suggested we go here as she says it is her favorite restaurant in the city. The decor and set up is stunning and so inviting. We first visited in the winter and it felt as if the building hugged you, which I feel is generally quite unusual in a dining... More

This is not for everyone. First, you must have a reservation. Second expect to wait another 20-40 minutes. The flatbreads are interesting. The soft shells were ok. The chicken was excellent. Cool venue. If you want to have a conversation, ask to be seated upstairs.

Woodberry definitely lives up to it's reputation for local, fresh,& farm ingredients for all of the food and drinks. Housed in a historic old mill, it was a very interesting interior and they also had a nice outdoor patio. The servers need a little more training as far as attentiveness and making the guests feel welcome and taken care of.... More

We visited the restaurant recently and had an outstanding experience there. The service and food were great. My wife had the soft shell crab dinner and I ordered the crab cake dinner and both were outstanding. We each had a salad and they were great also. The fresh bread served before dinner was fresh and very tasty. The drink list... More

Have lived in Baltimore for years. Had always seen others going to Woodberry Kitchen. Finally went on 8/20 with some friends. With a reservation we were still seated 20 minutes late. Waiter was outstanding. The snacks and apps were good. Some better than others. The boh battered squash was outstanding. The popcorn snack tasted like day old popcorn with some... More

Came for brunch without reservation and we were lucky to be seated. The place fills up fast. Everything we had were just fantastic. I had a cup of earl grey latte and it was so good. It's like cappuccino but it was tea. Service was warm, attentive but not pushy. Relaxed ambiance and energetic vibe. The wood fire brick oven was... More

Nice atmosphere but waiting 2 hrs on a Tuesday wasn't going to work for our appetite ! The website for the restaurant said nothing about needing a reservation.
