Sandwich for one- yum!

Work colleague suggested this Turkish restaurant that was near my hotel. I wandered in for early takeout (around 5pm) and the place was empty. Then 2 other single diners came in right after me and also ordered takout. Service was incredibly friendly. I had the Doner Sandwich and fries. What is... read more

A friend was in town who wanted something "exotic" so we used Tripadvisor and decided to try the Cazbar as none of us have done Turkish before. Right off, I will recommend the Mixed Meze Plate which has samples of 7 different cold appetizers so you can try them all and pick your favorite. We also tried the Manti, which... More

Turkish food was great. We got some meze (smoky eggplant was our favorite) along with sandwiches (doner and salmon) - food was very authentic and tasty. Kids had a good time learning some dance moves from the bellydancer. Baklava for dessert topped off a great meal!

Cazbar definitely lives up to its high ratings here. I arrived for dinner at 5pm on a Tuesday and there was only one other diner which was odd. But the hostess was welcoming and the waitress was top notch. I had a pear martini which was out of this world, an appetizer ("Mucver") which was to die for, an entree... More

My husband and I had dinner before seeing a show at the Hippodrome. It was a about a 10 minute walk from the theatre. Our cocktails were just okay, but we loved the hummus, our entrees (Lamb Three Ways and Lamb Moussaka), and the baklava with Turkish coffee for dessert. I'd go here again or recommend to a friend!

We had just been to Turkey and wanted to teat some friends to a taste of the cuisine, but were way too lazy to make all the mezzas, so we called Cazbar and ordered six terrific messas to go. We picked them up at the bar and they were fantastic. The Acili Ezme is great if you like something a... More

Cazbar is one of my go-to restaurants in Baltimore when I want great humus, patlican, ezme, pide, and other Turkish/ Mediterranean tapas. The salmon and the shrimp with feta are great entrees. The staff and manager (Tatianna!) are wonderful. The bread is always hot and fresh, and the wine list, while not extensive, is more than adequate, but not expensive... More

Wonderful atmosphere, generally very attentive and friendly staff, extremely varied menu, excellent food and reasonably priced. It was a real treat to eat at Cazbar!

I had this delivered to my hotel. Highlight was the baklava, but the hummus was a disappointment. Kafta was tasty, but came in tiny patties, which I hadn't seen before. Overall, a good value and I would order there again.

Great service and a wonderful atmosphere. The staff was welcoming and so helpful w/o being overpowering. Took a friend there for a significant birthday dinner. We started with an appetizer sampler - baba ghanoush, hummus, ezme - perfectly sized. She had the filet mignon kebab and I had a delicious chicken dish cooked in a tomato sauce with peppers and...
