Authentic Middle Eastern Food in a Lovely Downtown Setting

We enjoyed a great meal here on a Saturday night. We got the platter, $65 for two people and it included several plates and a desert. The waitresses and staff were very friendly and nice, and the food was great!

Stopped in while out exploring how cleared (or not) the streets are following the Blizzard. Surprisingly busy given how quiet the city is today. Service was prompt and charming. Loved the lunch menu, especially the pumpkin soup and hummus. Definitely coming back.

While I would not claim to be an expert in Turkish cuisine I have visited Turkey a number of times so at least have some experience. The atmosphere in the restaurant was impossible to gauge as it was very quiet due to the snow storm, service was attentive (without being overbearing), menu was very comprehensive. The experience was very enjoyable... More

There were ten of us and we made sure to make reservations so that we could sit upstairs for the belly dancing show. We all shared appetizers and each of us got our own meal. I got the Asaka Isander (?) and it was a huge portion and very tasty. The show is good but really short. We kept expecting... More

I'm glad I found this place. Doner Iskonder is great. Shrimp, tomato and Feta and the pides are good

While visiting at Mercy Hospital, I needed a bite to eat and wanted to have something other than the fare offered at the hospital. After walking up to the restaurants 1.5 blocks up to N Charles St., and finding few places open the day after Christmas, I came upon Cazbar. I had seen the reviews on TA and thought it... More

Amazing food. Loved all their mezes. We tried the trio - Acili Ezme, spicy walnut dip (Mohamra) and smokey eggplant (Yogurtlu Patlican). We also had their veggie Turkish pizza (cyprus pide) along with falafel and hummus. The portions are huge and we liked the authentic décor. The reason for 0.5 star less is due to service. At least a couple... More

A place I frequent because the food, service and ambiance are consistently great. It's a cute spot for a date, for happy hour with co-workers, early dinner with family, or for a place to take Baltimore first timers (especially for belly dancing night). Service is quick and the staff don't mind when you ask for extra bread, which is always... More

We had a pleasant dinner experience. The waitress was very friendly. This was not our first visit so we were familiar with the menu but had a few questions and they were adequately addressed. I wanted to order something different this time so I had the Lamb Moussaka. It was somewhat dry as a lot of the sauce had baked... More
