Great Turkish!

Both vegan and meat lovers found authentic satisfaction. The service--top notch. Coming from out of town, Cazbar is better than the Turkish spots I've eaten at in NYC and Philly

I've eaten here many times and I just can't get enough. I wish I knew the secrets to the recipes...I'm working my way through the menu. I highly recommend it to everyone!

My husband and I enjoyed our dinner at this charming restaurant. We had reservations (recommend) for 7 on a Thursday night and we were seated promptly at a table tucked in the front by the window. The small restaurant quickly filled up. The menu is large with lots of unfamiliar items, so we made it easy by ordering the Sultans... More

There were 4 of us who all enjoyed excellent Turkish food in a charming setting. We started out with hummus and homemade bread. I had an eggplant cold appetizer (meze) and a borek cheese hot one, both of them totally delicious. My husband had a lamb kebab, one friend had a doner kebab and her husband had another meat dish... Our son and his fiancée held their pre-wedding dinner at the Cazbar. We were all seated in a spacious private dining room by a lovely young woman and after serving wine, beer and soft drinks we received a variety of Turkish dishes both with and without meat. My only issue was with the table arrangement. Instead of having the tables... More

We arrived at Cazbar during Restaurant Week, and it was nearly empty at 8 pm on a Monday. There was an additional stuffed chicken item on the menu that hadn't been advertised, and I tried that while my wife had a vegetarian dish. Neither one of us could even begin to finish our meals - after the starter and bread.... More

Nice waitress, great food. Maybe the best meal I've ever eaten! I don't remember the name of it, but it contained lamb. The cuisine is Turkish, which I was not familiar with, but many items seemed of Greek origin. Great food!

We've been here before and have overall liked the food and service. Our most recent time was not too different. Our server, Mizi, was very friendly and attentive. The food was not quite as good as we have had in the past. For example, the chicken in our shared "Tour of Cazbar" had a funny taste to it (sorry to... More

Great spot for a date night when visiting Baltimore! The best food we ate at Cazbar was the Grape Leaves - which they make with pine nuts and currants - they have plenty of vegetarian entree options, but the one I chose (vegetable casserole) wasn't that exciting. My husband had the stuffed eggplant which was much better. Overall, we would... More
