We live around the corner from On The Hill. The food is good and generally fast. However it is just too crowded at lunch to go any more, especially when it is cold and the outside tables are not available The regular staff is helpful and pleasant. The owner seems more interested in bossing around his cooks and counting his... More

Just a few blocks from our B & B we found this neighborhood coffee shop with delightful breakfast foods. Locals visit and relax on this corner of a gentrified neighborhood of restored row-houses.

Was looking for coffee. Excellent café with a few sidewalk tables in brownstone neighborhood in middle of MICA. Fantastic menu (includes vegan and vegetarian). Good service!

I think some 3 star reviews of this hidden gem on the hill are funny how they obviously seem to have been looking for say a 'business meeting' larger lunch spot so they didn't find this lovely oasis met their needs. It's tiny, busy and can run out of bagels because it's tucked in feel in a close-knit community small... More

I've been there several times lately because I like their bagels so it's annoying when they run out! They have a good bagel and smoked salmon combination with the right condiments. Also the lines can get long and the place is small, so they must be doing something right.

Tiny, veg-abundant, hole-in-the-wall is great for casual breakfasts and lunches, but it's a bit too cramped for a business lunch unless you want to eat outside. (Yep, I found that last bit out the hard way.)

Seems only MICA students and residents of the Bolton Hill neighborhood where it's located know about this hidden treasure. But if you want the best sandwich to be had in all the city this is the place. Wonderful, chef created, soups, sandwiches, wraps and more make a lunch not soon forgotten. Gourmet beverage creations, too! Yes, as other reviewers have... More

A nice student and neighborhood-centered sandwich shop with good food and few tables, so best for carryout. Everything is priced very reasonably.

Decent coffee with reasonable prices. Though, long lines in the morning. Breakfast is a good idea, but it's not very good. The other food options are limited to certain hours of the day. They also bring in pastries from Stone Mill, which can be a good complement to your coffee. I do like the pomegranate lemonade though, as it is... More

I can walk there so the other day I took a friend for lunch. They have a nice array of sandwiches and salads. The customers are mostly young, probably students at MICA, Maryland Institute College of Art, which is nearby. It isn't much to look at, and the inside seating is limited, but the staff is very friendly, and the... More
