Fogo de ChaoR (fo-go dee shoun), is an authentic Southern Brazilian steakhouse. In 1979, FogoR began sharing the gaucho way of preparing meat in Porto Alegre, Brazil. Today, our gaucho chefs still expertly grill each of our 16 cuts of meat and offer you continuous tableside service. We invite you to enjoy the delicious preparations of our gaucho chefs along with our gourmet salad bar, authentic Brazilian side dishes, and award-winning wine list.

Visited during restaurant week. Found the service and food to be superb...large portions and very fresh salads on the market table and from the roaming meat servers. Market table replenished constantly and kept neat. Would visit again!

It was restaurant week in Baltimore and we decided to go here for my husbands birthday. Glad we did. They have valet parking, so we didn't have to drive around town looking for a garage ($12) We made reservations and were seated promptly upon our arrival. This is a great place for a "meat & potatoes" kinda guy such as... More

We had a very nice meal here after 3 lacrosse games earlier in the day. 3 teenage boys had not really had a chance to eat so this was definitely the right place. A few different steaks prepared uniquely but in the end tasted the same. Chix was the best in my opinion. Sausage good. Lamb was a little too... More

For meat eaters (I'm a vegetarian) the different cuts, types, and "doneness" of the meat is the true draw, along with the Brazilian atmosphere. For this vegetarian, the salad bar is the very best I've been to. In fact, to call it a "salad bar" is a complete misnomer.... It is a complete festival of cheese, meats, vegetables, salad, beans,... We had lunch at Fogo today and it was an exceptional experience. We had to make sure we turned our coaster over Quick or we were deluged with more carved meats. The wait staff was great. We will surely return when in Baltimore.

An incredible array of grilled steaks, chicken, beef and sausage grilled on an open flame. This brazilian steakhouse was one of the best, HOWEVER, the service was extremely slow, and server changed three times during the course of our meal. Very little attention was paid to our table because of the guaranteed gratuity. Spoke to the manager about the slow... More

Our first time eating at this restaurant and the food was very good and the atmosphere was fun and different. This place fit the bill for a foodie wife and a buffet loving husband. The salad bar was like no other with selections that would satisfy the foodie's palate. In addition to the salad bar was a hot plate bar... More

Visited in May for daughter's high school graduation dinner. Food tasted fresh, salad bar cold food was excellent. The meats were flavorful and cooked to a variety of temperatures. We really enjoyed the experience. Not a place we would go often, as hard not to overeat! The only downside was over charges on the bill at the end. It was... More

I absolutely enjoyed my first experience at this restaurant. Ive always heard great things about the food and the amounts but I got a chance to experience it myself. the staff were very hospitable and I would visit again. If youre hungry for meat this is the place. The lamb chops are to die for.
