If you like foo-foo food that looks amazing and costs a lot but doesn't take up much of the plate, Salt is for you. It's gourmet food and very tasty. Came no where near filling me up.

A real good foodie find in Baltimore. Creative menu. Appetizers aren't really meant to be shared except for the fries. High quality food and service throughout the meal. The rabbit confit pasta was real good comfort food on a cold windy day in Baltimore. Nice atmosphere in the dining room. The bar lacked character although drinks were real good.

We went to Salt to celebrate a 21st birthday. We shared the Brussels Sprouts, Duck Fat Fries and Slider for appetizers. Enjoyed them all but if I was to go back, I would get the fries and slider again as these 2 stood out from the Brussels sprouts. The birthday girl had the steak and the lobster hash was out... More

We went there on a Friday night, it wasn't too packed, and the service was very friendly and helpful. The place is really cute, and it's a great ambiance for a romantic dinner. I had the Tuna ,it was cooked perfectly and very tasteful. The size of the appetizers is quite small, but the taste is here, so nothing to... More

This is the finest and most innovative seafood restaurant I've ever visited. I had the seared tuna and I would highly recommend it to anyone. For desert, you've got to try the goat-cheese doughnuts!

Salt has kept it's vibe. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is fun and the staff are welcoming. We ate dinner there last night and thoroughly enjoyed the duck fat fries--an old standby, and the newer starter of grilled octopus. Four people, four different entrees, four happy dinners. The tuna has been on the menu since the beginning and is... More

My wife and I just moved away from Baltimore after living there for 3 years. This is one of the restaurants we miss the most. They are small, local and intimate with great food that changes seasonally. I never had a bad meal and service was always top notch. Beware though, parking is tough to find on the weekends.

My wife and I have spent a few Friday's sharing appetizers at the bar, and loved it every time. The drinks are great, the bartender friendly, the atmosphere welcoming. But come for the food. Love the octopus, waygu sliders, pork belly, salads. That is, love every dish we've had. You'll see us at the bar quite a few more times

My wife and I accompanied another couple to Salt for restaurant week. The menu they offered was practically their entire regular menu which was awesome as many restaurants hand out a restaurant week card with a few selections. The mezcal mule cocktail was flavorful and balanced. The table ordered their famous duck fat fries. Perfectly crispy and seasoned. Appetizers around... More

grabbed drinks and a snack for HH. Great cocktails and friendly staff. Tried the terrine, which was fatty and rich, Buddy went with the foie gras wagyu slider, which is to be savored with every little nibble. awesome!
