I visited frequently during high school, undergrad and still do today as a grad student. It's not always budget friendly, sometimes you have to wait to get a seat but the food is worth it. I enjoy the atmosphere and the flavors every time I visit.

Went there after visiting Baltimore Aquarium. Had the oysters Benedict. It was pretty good! My kids had the the French toast and waffles. They ate almost all of their meals. Only issue was the price. It was $100 for two adults and three kids.

This was a wonderful experience from start to finish! Maureen was our server. She was awesome and very attentive. They even put a candle in my daughter's pancakes!!!! Can't wait to go back! I see why I have heard so many good things about this place!!!!

Great food selection, healthy & fattening if that's what you want. Tables too close so not a place for deep conversation, plus tends to be noisy lunch time. You have to put up with parking difficulties( sparse lot) but food quality is worth it.

Miss Shirley's is so delicious. We have been there a couple times, and it has never disappointed. Two of our favorite selections are the Coconut Stuffed French Toast and the chicken and waffles, they're both amazing. Service is always good and the menu is diverse enough to satisfy all different tastebuds.

Eating here was an great experience. The menu choices were diverse, to say the least. I had the special crab cake and corn pancakes. Not your usual breakfast fare but certainly savory. The others in our party each had something different and their reactions were consistent : "Great!". A good starter would be their Bacon Bloody Mary. Service is also... More

Miss Shirley's is very deserving of it's reputation for on of Americas best! The omlette's and southern inspired appys are awesome. I tried the southern fried devil eggs this morning and they were delectable.

This is the 3rd time I've been there. I am literally addicted. The menu, food and service is amazing. The first time I had the Marylamd Omelette, then the French toast stuffed with Coconut and had the Eddies Filet amd eggs this morning. It's so good I've been driving 45 mins and loading up all 4 kids

Went here last week for breakfast and was not impressed. Service was horrible and the place wasn't even half full. The menu is too fancy and indulgent for me. I prefer good old fashioned breakfast food that's not overpriced. I know it's popular but not someplace you'd go to every week.

The House Specialties at Miss Shirley's are to die for. The "Get Your Grits On" has blackened spiced jumbo shrimp or blackened salmon that is perfectly crispy on the outside and moist on the inside on top of crispy and tangy fried green tomatoes. Then underneath are creamy and decadent large scoops of mascarpone grits with a roasted corn emulsion.... More
