Upscale breakfast/brunch place. Try the Crab and Green Tomato Benedict, it is truly amazing. The service was excellent. You may have to wait for a table but it is well worth the wait.

I was excited to try Miss Shirley's after reading all the great press about it. We tried the downtown location. We were seated right away. The service was fast and friendly. I ordered the crab cakes Benedict. They were okay, but not worthy of the $24 price tag. The fried green tomatoes that accompanied the benedict were not good. My... More

I just realized I have never wrote a review before and I definitely enjoy leaving more positive reviews than negative, plus I have been coming to Miss Shirley's for years, fairly regularly, pretty much always with maximum satisfaction. This last Sunday was no different. We came much later than we usually do (they open 7.30 AM on weekends, I recommend... More

Miss Shirely's really does live up to the hype. The restaurant is quaint, the service is great which includes a manager checking on all the tables, and the menu is unique and very tempting. All the omelettes I've ever had have been very good and the other offerings look good as well. The only complaint I have is the prices.... More

It's your first multi-day stay in Baltimore and where do you go when two folks want lunch and the third (me) wants breakfast? Miss Shirley's was in walking distance of where we were staying so that's where we went on a snowy March 19. Seated promptly and the server introduced himself and asked about any food allergies. Nice touch. We... More

Why this restaurant is so popular is beyond us. We were there for a Saturday brunch with two grandkids, and waited and waited and waited some more for someone to notice us. Once we were able to order, we waited and waited some more for our breakfast, which was OK, but nothing special. Getting a coffee refill was just about... More

Miss Shirley's does not disappoint! I have dined on two separate occasions and have been extremely satisfied with the experience both times. The bloody Mary's look excellent but I had the mimosa's on both occasions. I definitely recommend the coconut cream french toast. Others in my party had the breakfast sliders and were very happy with the way they tasted.... More

Excited to try this place after all the hype. Saw that they had chicken and waffles on the menu was so ready to indulge in some juicy chicken w waffles the combination is just delicious! Thinking this would be the traditional version I was so disappointed! What is this green onion nonsense with my waffles???? No! I wanted my traditional... More

Today was my first experience of Miss Shirley's. I had never heard of it, but I was travelling with 10 others and they insisted we end our weekend in Baltimore at Miss Shirley's. It was great, even though we had a large party on Sunday mid morning, they sat us immediately. The bloody Mary's are perfect and the chocolate monkey... More

Our entire experience was special. Our server, Hannah was not only attentive and knowledgeable, but also a delight. Joel was also terrific. Hannah explained to him my food allergies and he came over to explain not only my tasty options, but also the extra special care taken with the food of people with allergies. Being allergic to something as wide-spread... More
