Though I grew up in Baltimore, I now live in the capital of brunch - New York City. Despite the vast options NYC has to offer, I have yet to come across a spot anywhere near as awesome as Miss Shirley's. If you're visiting Baltimore / Annapolis, I highly recommend stopping by any of the three locations. Not only is... More

Went here for the first time for a birthday lunch for my adult son. The waiter, Randall, was extremely disinterested in his job. When he would recite the sides, he would look away in total boredom. He said them so fast, we had to ask him to repeat as we couldn't catch them. It was to the point of being... More

I've never eaten at the Coldspring location but have been to the Annapolis and Downtown location numerous times. The most consistent place EVER. I love the mini Belgium waffles. If you order other food and waffles, be sure to get the short stack (only two). Shirley's affair with Oscar is amazing. My only concern is the wait, the seating and... More

This is an OK restaurant, but it wasn't exactly what I wanted, so the review might be a little negative. I was looking for just a place to get a simple breakfast. The people working there were great. Everyone was friendly and helpful. However, the menu was a little strange. Everything was a little overdone. I did find the simple... More

Convenient to Inner Harbor and the sites. Nice atmosphere inside and out but just regular old soul food. The menu has some interesting names for dishes like the Bloody Mary which is highly overpriced and just spicy bloody Mary mix and lots of garnishes. Don't bother, you can make better at home. The shrimp and fried green tomatoes weren't seasoned... More

I have been here before and love their food and the variety of the menu. My sister always gets the same thing- blackened shrimp on grits and a grilled green tomato. I got an omelet with crab and cheese and red pepper, with wheat bread. Delightful

I had the crab benedict which was amazing! Fried green tomato and crabcake with a poached egg hollandaise. Yum.

I hadn't been to Miss Shirley's in several years, so I was excited when my aunt suggested lunch there. I had fond memories, and it was so good that I wanted to have breakfast/brunch there every week. This time, I was disappointed. This is what I ordered: Chicky-Chickadee BBQ On A That’s How We Roll House-Made Pulled BBQ Chicken &... More

Very expensive for the little amount of food you get.The food was fine but I've had better at my local deli. I will never eat here again.
