We were in town for a conference and decided for our last night out to dress up and have a night of fine dining and some drinks. We had a reservation and still had to wait 47 minutes for a table. We finally got seated and they took our drink orders. I ordered a bottle of wine which we all... More

Even though it's a chain, the staff at this location makes it stand out: friendly, accommodating, hospitable... they make you feel like you're "home." I always love the calamari and their "Stoli Doli's"

We visited during restaurant week. We were seated at a table in the bar area. The waiter never came by to introduce himself. Our first introduction to him after approximately 15 minutes was "Are you guys ready to order drinks?" I cant tell you what his name is, cause he never introduced himself. We ordered off of the regular menu... More

This was our first time visiting The Capital Grille in Baltimore, and we thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. The restaurant is right in the heart of the downtown Inner Harbor area, and we took advantage of the free valet parking, as well as the special Restaurant Week dinner menu. The restaurant was also quick to accommodate a last minute change... More

This week in Baltimore is Restaurant Week. Since my husband and I relocated to Baltimore 2 years ago we have tried out new restaurants during Restaurant Week. Usually I am dissappointed with the choices offered by restaurants for their Restaurant Week selections. My husband and I and a friend had wanted to go to the Capital Grille for some time...well...it... More

My visits to Capital Grille in NY and Washington DC have been fabulous. Food, ambience and waitstaff are always consistent. However, the Baltimore visit has taken the lead due to our waiter, Tom White. He was do attentive to our needs we never wanted to leave. Very knowledgeable in wine, particularly in the red category.

We visit this restaurant several times a year. This is my husband's favorite place. Steak is always cooked to perfection. We usually get the filet with the Kona rub and porcini rub. Generous Pour is going on now...$25 per person for 7 glasses of wine. Also, restaurant week with a prix menu. Service is always excellent! Inside is very classy... More

My husband's birthday is this month and we began the celebration with dinner at The Capital Grille. We were not disappointed. For starters, I had clam chowder and my husband his favorite Caesar salad. We had to have beef, so I ordered a filet and my husband the 14 oz. dry aged sirloin. We shared an order of Sam's mashed... Took the waitresses' recommendation on a choice of steak. The Delmonico steak was well prepared but doused with balsamic vinegar. Not a good topping on an expensive steak. The steaks were very large and I suggest sharing a steak with another.

Went there with two friends. This summers generous pour made the wine selection easy. The bone in filet is to did for. Service was terrific.
