What an all to rare and wonderful thing to "dine" out with friends! The Capital Grille is a beautiful restaurant, even if the patrons don't feel the need to dress to impress any more. Our party of 4 dined on a Saturday evening and we had no trouble getting a reservation on Open Table a few days before, although the... More

I took my husband to dinner for his 61st birthday celebration. We were nicely greeted at the door by the hostess and led to a table by a young woman who IMO, was "underdressed" (leggings, a worn sweater, casual flats). Actually, some diners arrived in jeans - I thought there was a dress code for this establishment. Service was great... More

This is a first class place. You will pay $45 for a steak without any side dishes. But, the steak will be perfectly done and ample. The calamari appy is the best I've ever had. The waiter (Mark) was superb. I really liked that the wine list was on a tablet, and contained ratings, food pairings, and tasting notes. Well... More

The food at the Capital Grille is outstanding! I had the scallops and they were wonderful. We all had something different, all of the specials menu, and we were all quite delighted with our meals. My friend says the fries are a must!

Over recent years, we have been to the Baltimore Capital Grille a number of times. It is expensive but they execute very well. The food is always prepared exactly to order and the wine list is extensive. We often go for lunch when they are running specials or to dinner to celebrate a meaningful event in the family. The steaks... More

It is hard to find fault with this restaurant on the waterfront of the inner harbor of Baltimore. Complimentary valet parking at the corner of Pratt and Gay Streets puts you right in a good mood (don't forget to get your check stub punched...otherwise it's $20!). The bar is just to your right as you come in the entrance and... More

Had dinner here as part of a large corporate group. Private room and excellent service. Started with four apps (shrimp, calamari, steak tartare, and bruschetta). Salads followed, then choice of entree. I went for their signature Kona rubbed steak. No coffee taste and the sirloin was exceptional....like a small roast. Companions had chicken and seafood and said they were good,... More
