ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! there was not one good thing about their accomodations but the fine food was surprisingly great.

Great middle eastern fare. Spicy lamb curry is to die for. I have it every Imelda I visit from out of state. Chef is great! When he found out my daughter is vegan, he made special sauces for her dinner. Great service!

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely dinner in this historic building. I had the skirt steak(the most moist and wonderful flavored steak I have had in years) and honey had the scallops ( he said they were so tender and great). We thanked the chef on our way out and we will most certainly be back! Another diner next... More

We often come here for brunch. They have both brunch items and regular entrees, so you can make it the main meal of the day. The food has always been good, and it is mostly locally-sourced. The service has been good, the room quiet and agreeable on a Sunday afternoon, the wines by the glass are good. What's not to... More

I would give it a higher rating but they messed up royally on service. We had a reservation for 8:30pm, sat down, ordered wine. Only AFTER THE WINE HAD BEEN ORDERED AND SERVED did the waiter bother to tell us most of the items on the Restaurant week menu we had been studying were out of stock. Basically all the... More

I have been hearing good things about the new chef here for a few years, and when she showed up on our favorite nationally televised cooking competition show we made a point of heading here to try out her menu. The restaurant is in a small space under the B&B, but has a very pleasant atmosphere. Our servers were very... More

A well kept secret in the basement of a hotel in the cultural district of Baltimore. Fine french cuisine that is hard to come-by. Simple dishes were made with expertise and complex flavoring. Make reservations, don't be afraid of the menu, call and ask if you can park in the lot for the hotel (during off hours, it should be... More

The food was very good, but the portions are very small: you could easily drop $30 or more on brunch and not be full. More of a problem was the lack of air conditioning, but that would mean just going back in the non-summer. Even more of a problem was the inattentive service. I always figured the reasons restaurants marked... More

NOTE: This restaurant changed ownership sometime around December 2007. Any reviews you see prior to that were based on the previous owners and staff. My opinion: the new ownership/management is a significant upgrade! I cannot say enough about this restaurant. The menu, while limited (6-8 entrees) is chosen by the chef based on the freshest ingredients available. The selections are... More
