We chose this restaurant because of its high rating on TripAdvisor, and its proximity to the Inner Harbor. Though it is close to the "touristy" section on town, it did not feel like a touristy restaurant. My friends and I arrived without a reservation on a Saturday night, but they were able to accommodate us at the high tops in... More

I do not comprehend how this restaurant has received such favorable reviews. It truly was one of the worst meals I have eaten. I want to say the service was good but it could not compensate for the food. I ordered the Osso Bucco. The veal was so chewy it was almost inedible. The risotto that it was on was... More

Daughter, college student, recommended La Tavola so expectations modest. Thinking somewhere between Pizza Hut and jarred sauces. Was I wrong. Excellent food, great service. 5 star in both categories. Reasonable priced. Only drawback is tables are no match for great food. But who cares. Enjoy and go !

We were very pleased to find La Tavola through Open Table and had a thoroughly enjoyable meal. The vegetables were as fresh and tasty as could be, cooked to perfection and the dessert, the cannolis, were homemade and presented with artistic flair in their design and tasted wonderful! Service was attentive, perhaps a bit too quick to remove plates as... More

Last night I had the pleasure to get dining at the restaurant "LA TAVOLA". It 's really a great place. I'm Italian and I was skeptical to try the Italian cuisine abroad. But the chef Carlo (an Italian) cuisine very well! I ate one of the best lasagna I've ever eaten, all fresh and home-made stuff. Do not miss if... More

While our first visit to La Tavola, we will return in the future. The restaurant was very nice, service was excellent, and the offerings and quality of the food were to the highest standard. Well done.

Chose La Tavola based upon a local recommendation. I had the veal parm w eggplant and my husband had osso bucco with risotto which were both perfectly prepared and tasty. The Caesar salad had way too much for our liking. Our waiter, Big Mike, was spending most of his time at two large tables. We felt neglected as we had... More

We have been to Baltimore many times and eaten in Little Italy on multiple occasions, but this was our first time at La Tavola. We will make sure to make this our first stop when we return to Charm City. The pastas are house made and you can tell. Everything is fresh and served with a nice presentation. We mentioned... More

Excellent food and good atmosphere. If you are looking to satisfy your hunger for a quality Italian dinner, this is a sure bet. Interesting menu - pastas were excellent and stuffed zuchinni flowers were a great starter. Plus you can enjoy strolling back through the inner harbor after dinner.
