Captain Crunch French Toast!

Need I say more? YUM! Go early and get your name on the list. This is a small place. We went on a busy Saturday morning. The wait was 1.5 hours! Which was perfect timing to walk around town. We knew in advance that there would be a wait for a table. When we arrived, we were told an hour and we were seated in almost exactly one hour. However, it then took another hour for our order to come. This was totally unacceptable to me. The food was good, but not worth the wait. The atmosphere was bohemian... More

We had the big-as-your-face cinnamon bun (tons of gooey icing and cinnamon all throughout), Captain Crunch French Toast, blueberry pancakes, regular pancakes, and an omelet with hash browns. All of it was amazing. Only the fatboy with the French Toast finished his meal... Hint: we went on a Friday morning at 10:30 and had no wait.

Unique eats - limited seating. I take the extra time when I visit the area to hit Blue Moon for breakfast at least once. The food is out of this world good!

This was my 3rd or 4th visit to Blue Moon Cafe but I brought 4 newbies with me and they were truly happy with their food. It was so good my teenage daughter was actually glad I woke her up early to come here. I love the Captain Crunch French Toast and The Sweet Baby Jesus...the servings are huge and... More

Saw this on Food Network and was really looking forward to trying it. When I first walked past on a Sunday mid day the wait was 2-3 hours. Did a little sightseeing and returned. Still had a 30 minute wait. The service was good;the wait was because it is THAT good. Had the hash brown/egg/hollandaise breakfast. Small friendly place with... More

From their signature Captain Crunch French toast to their omelets, fresh fruit and homemaid biscuits this place is in its own stratosphere. Make sure you get there early because it's a small place and fills up quick for breakfast. There's always a line but worth the wait as all the people in line know.

Let's start out by saying we are big fans of Triple D and probably would have never come to this place except for seeing it on the show. Now that we've been, we will officially say it is the best food we had in Baltimore, and rivals anything else we have had in the entire U.S. So a few caveats... More

I am staying in Baltimore for a day or two, and my host suggested this place for breakfast. I found the service to be prompt and friendly, and the waitress suggested the homemade biscuits. They are truly delicious: they are moist and crumbly and served with a homemade blueberry jam that is the very essence of a blueberry. The other... More

The food at this place is to die for, especially the captain crunch french toast. Its great after a late night or an early morning. Seating is a little tight but that's also what makes the place unique. The staff is a little up tight, maybe because they're always busy (still not a good excuse) Definitely recommended.
