we waited outside to have breakfast here and it was worth the wait. Food was good and unusual. Ask prices because I was very surprised when I received the check. My Grandsons ate all their food which is a testament.

We waited 45mins to eat in this eclectic 8 table cafe. Drinks were prompt. House specialties were deliciously detailed with much enthusiasm by our server. We started with a cinnamon roll appetizer thinking our order would be delayed. Nope. Our breakfast dishes were promptly served after we finished our roll. The Captain Crunch French toast was not too sweet and... More

Wow! Wow! Wow! It really is the best breakfast ever. My husband and I enjoyed the 2 specials - Cap'n Crunch French toast and the Sweet Baby Jesus which was essentially Eggs Benedict with crab over hash browns. YUM!!!! Very friendly and attentive staff. A little pricey, but worth it!

4 words- Captain Crunch French Toast! It is the best breakfast I've ever had in my entire life!! So delicious, I've tried to make it myself, but nothing compares. Love the artsy atmosphere.

Even though you will most likely have to wait (one hour for our party of two) for your table, you will enjoy your visit to the BMC. Cheerful, friendly, accommodating staff. Even though the space is small, you do mot feel crowded at your table. Wonderful Boho decor with exposed brick walls and chandeliers, chairs of mixed style/color. Oil paintings... More

I am not giving it 5 stars only because I had the french toast alone. Wanna try more stuff on the menu! The captain crunch french toast was massive! Excellent. Really good coffee as well. Service was a little on the slow side but the cafe was packed (at 7.45am already!) and I guess it is also because the food... More

Don't bother asking me about anything other than the Capn' Crunch French Toast because I haven't managed to order anything else there. It is just too good! It is just so sweet and savory and the fruit is fresh and the cream is good....oh man. I highly recommend it, especially with a side of their thick-cut bacon. I've never had... More

I arrived to the BMC with several friends from Delaware at around 11am. We waited maybe 40 minutes for a table which was just fine, it was worth it. As for the decor, really fun but not overdone, eclectic and interesting. It felt very comfortable and the staff was extremely warm and friendly. The food was very good, I had... More

While working in Baltimore this past week, a friend and I went out for dinner and wanted to go here after seeing it on Diners, Dives and Drive Ins. Both of us had the BLT with hash browns and I have to say it was really good! The BLT was as good as I've ever had. My friend thought the... More
