The Prime Rib exudes a great old school charm that you don't see very often. Everyone was very professional, yet kind and attentive. The dry aged NY strip was one of the best steaks I've ever had. They created a great atmosphere for my proposal to my gf and brought out champagne and a dessert for us to share in... More

The Prime Rib is a fairly typical high-end steakhouse. I dined with a group of five on a busy Wednesday evening. Others in my party who had dined at this location previously commented that the service was slower than what they had experienced on less crowded occasions. I found the service acceptable and, since we were in no rush, had... More

We had heard the Prime Rib was the best steak house in Baltimore, so we wanted to try it. Going into the Prime Rib is like stepping back in time to the 60's when fine dining was an event. We were greeted by a maître d dressed in black tie. A piano player at the ebony baby grand set the... More

Have enjoyed The Prime Ribs in both Washington and Philadelphia in the past, and finally had the opportunity to try the original. Overall, it reinforces my view that these are the best prime rib restaurants in the northeast. Great old-school service and atmosphere, fantastic meat and sides, and a really fun place to enjoy a special night out with small... More

This was our first visit to Prime Rib and we were very excited to be dining as we had never reserved far enough in advance several times before to be able to visit. We frequent a few steak houses on a pretty normal basis, but we have to admit that these were the best steaks we have ever had at... More

Four of us went to the Prime Rib a couple of months ago to celebrate our Birthdays. We were very disappointed because the portions were smaller, and the prices were higher. All of us said we would not return. There are plenty of other restaurants that have excellent food and service. I e-mailed Prime Rib and told them of our... More

This prime rib restaurant has a pedigree and deserves it. The prime rib is excellent as is the selection of wines. The wait staff is attentive and quite warm. The restaurant is comparable to Mortons.

Everyone in Maryland should dine in this historic landmark restaurant of Baltimore, at least once in his / her lifetime! Dining here takes one back to the Fifties, or earlier, when posh dining venues, with artistic traditional food, perfectly prepared, was the norm in the classical restaurants. Service is perfectly timed and executed with excellence, in a serene manner. Yes,... More

This was my first experience there. I ordered the steak medium well but when I cut into it, there was no pink at all. It was quite dry. I don't like to complain much and the waiter did not care that it was well done. The rest of my party's food was cooked properly so why would I want to... More

The steak here was out of this world good. yes it is pricey and well worth it as this was one of the best steaks I have every had. Although the dress code is business casual, would recommend dressing business as a lot of staff and customers do. Very great steak.
