I just had the pleasure of eating at The Prime Rib in Baltimore this past Friday evening. I split a Ceasar salad and asked and received extra anchovies. The salad was fresh and crisp romaine lettuce with shaved parmesan cheese mixed into the dressing. This was followed by the large prime rib (bone on) cooked to medium rare served with... More

I had the prime rib as my entree and it was excellent! It's was a large portion of meat cooked perfectly. The service, from the staff at the door, to our waiter, was also great.

We have been going to the Prime Rib for at least 10 years and it has remained consistently the best in steaks, prime rib and service. It started out as a special occasion restaurant but quickly became a favorite weekend place to dine. Service is far and above most restaurants and the staff prides themselves on this. I've also had... More

Yes I first ate here 50 years ago as the "date " of a very generous boyfriend . I will never forget the leopard carpet and the baby grand piano . To date I have enjoyed many more meals at The Prime Rib and I have never been disappointed . Think about that . As new glitzy restaurants opened in... More

Seven of us chose The Prime Rib to celebrate a 20 wedding anniversary. From start to finish - the meal and service surpassed all expectations. Service starts with the free valet parking at the Chase Street entrance. Or you can self park in their garage still at no charge. The restaurant is not that big, two large rooms. As you... More

An impressive wine list, with sane prices . corking fee though is $35.. The service was slow and a bit amateurish, the ceiling stained and the steak knives have already cut more than a thousand. I took the $54 aged 12 oz NY strip prime, asking it to be served medium rare, knowing it will arrive medium. So it did.... More

Place looked terrific, Old "Chophouse" appeal. Even though a casino atmosphere outside the window, a great feel inside. Menu looked very nice, but when we were told that the special Bone-in-Rib eye, was an Anderson Brothers Prime, I was hooked. I actually ate about two thirds and brought the rest home. The next day I grilled an Omaha Filet and... More

One of our favorite restaurants in Baltimore. Truly old school steakhouse theme with dark wood and paintings--and over the top service from real professionals. Starts with the minute you open the door and check in and continues throughout the meal. Piano and entertainment most evenings. Obviously the beef choices are first class. But choice seafood abounds too. Our favorites include... More
