For about 50 years Tio Pepe has been in the top 5 of Baltimore's Best. Others come and go but Tio's remains. To stand the test of time speaks volumes. Not much has changed over the years other than the prices. When you step down into the basement level entry it is as if you've entered another country. It feels... More

Interesting menu and very good food. Excellent sangria! Staff could be a tad friendlier, though service was fine. Would be happy to return.

With the lack of Spanish restaurants in Baltimore, Tio Pepe automatically makes it atop the limited list. It's not mind blowing, but it's good and the lack of competition will make those craving for hearty Spanish cuisine happy enough. Sangria -- One of the better red sangria in Baltimore. Love that they don't skimp on the fruit. Black bean soup... More

Tio Pepe is one of our favorite restaurants especially for birthday celebrations. This was a first in which we did not enjoy our experience like we have in the past. Something just seemed "off". From the staff to the food. The staff was not as welcoming and friendly as they normally are. The food prices have gone up and the... More

We were there for a surprise birthday party and did not know what to expect. The service was excellent and th paella was excellent! It's made for 2 but we couldn't finish it because the portion size was huge! Would definitely recommend Tio Pepe and if we get the chance to go back to Baltimore it will be on the... More

Tio Pepe's is one of Baltimore's BEST restaurants with outstanding service, excellent food and reasonable prices for the quantity and quality you receive. It is divided into many smaller rooms which makes for a more intimate dining experience whether there are just 2 of you or a large party. Some of my favorites are: the sangria, shrimp in garlic appetizer,... More

This restaurant always winds up on Best of Baltimore lists, even though (like the city) it is a bit shopworn. The service is classy, with suited waiters and servers. The menu is predictable -- gazpacho, black beans, suckling pig in ridiculously large portions -- but quite wonderful. Wine list is fine, although our waiter couldn't tell us much about it.... More
