I called and asked if we needs reservations and was told no- when we came in, the gentlemen at the front remembered my call and seated us right away. Although we were not as nicely dressed as we should have been, we were treated very well. The portions are huge and I'd recommend sharing - shellfish in seafood sauce was... More

I went for lunch during restaurant week and was pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem! The basement seating area, the well dressed wait staff, and the menu make you feel like you are in an authentic, old-school Spanish restaurant. Very classy! I enjoyed the paella (HUGE PORTION) and the sangria (delicious)! I would absolutely recommend visiting.

My wife and I hadn't been there in over twenty years and it had been a favorite when we lived in Baltimore. I actually recognized two of the servers. Everything was good but anyone who has been there would know that.

Tio Pepe has been a very good Baltimore restaurant for many many years. The roast suckling pig is really good but way to much for one person to eat - it can be split for two people. Most of the waiters have been there for decades! A very worthwhile place to eat.

I have been here to eat at least 5 times. The last 2 were last weekend (SAT night) and within the past year during the week, respectively. The food is excellent, the service is not good. It is slow, the servers, while nice, seem to have too many tables, the bussers are not good and are slow to clear plates... More

My husband loves this restaurant and thus, we always celebrate his birthday at Tio Pepe. The ambience reflects the Spanish culture. The service is always top notch. Over the last 40+ years, we have witnessed the blossoming of the staff from support staff to leaders in the business. Our main server was very personable and took time to answer our... More

Came here with s group of 8 and had no issue getting seated. We did however had reservations but the place was not busy when we went. Service was good especially when we had forgot to tell him to separate our bills but was willing to do it at the end. Water was regularly filled and our water level did... More

Made a reservation 2 weeks prior to June 6th. Told person that it was my wife's 65th birthday. He said he would make note in the reservation book. There were four of us and when we arrived I gave my name and told the person we had a reservation. They didn't even look at the book and took us to... More
