They know how to prepare and serve oysters

We wanted oysters in Baltimore and, with my 92 year old aunt didn't want to walk through the Lexington Market to a stand up bar at Faidley's so did an online search and came up with this place. I don't like oysters, but my husband LOVES them and has eaten them all over this wonderful country! He swears that these are the BEST oysters anywhere!! I, on the other hand, love steamed clams and I can tell you that these are the BEST steamed clams anywhere!! We drive from Wilmington, DE to Baltimore just to eat at Mama's.... More

This place was very busy for a Wednesday night. The bar area was crowded as well. As soon as a table was available it was filled. We were seated upstairs and it was just as busy. The food was delicious and very fresh! My boyfriend had the stuffed shrimp and all he kept saying was how good it was. I... More

Wait can be long because it seems to have become very popular, but you can wait at the bar. The fried oysters on Aioli sauce on halfshell are killa! 3 Way... More

We wanted to do Happy Hour at a place that had a good raw bar and is this ever the place. The atmosphere is wonderful. It is like walking into a down home neighborhood place...well actually it is so they succeeded here. We sat at the bar and started with a couple of drafts of a local beer. Great selection... More

we ate there on a Friday night so it was quite busy but the young woman they had working as hostess needs to find a new job. She was extremely rude. We were a party of 8 and we wanted to eat around 8 or 9 on Friday night so it was not an easy task but to say that... More

Have eaten here many times for lunch, and usually order the same thing. Again enjoyed the crab cake (although the bottom was slightly burned), the salad with the maple dressing, and the super yummy Mac and cheese. Others in my group enjoyed the burgers, shrimp salad, and the blackened chicken Cesar salad. Fortunately, the Christmas crowd was not there that... More

My husband loves oysters on the half shell and he loves theirs!! I like their steamed shrimp..the best. Everything we have ever ordered has been great.Never been disappointed. Staff is professional and provides good customer service. I don't think anyone would ever be disappointed at this restaurant.
