Late dinner

We flew in to Baltimore late. We called to see if the restaurant was still serving dinner and they were. We got to the restaurant around 10pm on a Saturday night and we got our table without having to wait. I had the chef salad with the house dressing and it was delicious. My husband had the... read more

We went here on a Friday before an Orioles ball game. The place is both a bar and restaurant. There are tables inside and out. We sat outside and enjoyed the wonderful weather of a May Day in Baltimore. We had six people in our party. Our server did good job keeping up with drink orders and refills. I got... More

We called ahead for a reservation for four to this eatery on Canton Square but were told nothing would be available until 8:30 pm, although tables outside were always first come. We decided to try anyway, and arrived at about 7 pm. We could see two empty tables outside. When we went in and answered

Traveling for business can be grueling and so we search for great local restaurants. We were a part of 4 and were seated immediately and had a lovely table. Drinks and Oysters were our first item of business as they came highly recommended by anyone we spoke with about the restaurant. OH MY...the martini's were great, but the OYSTERS were... More

We went on a Wednesday night for happy hour. Ordered a couple of drinks that were amazing. Than 6 oysters. They were fresh and ice cold. So good we ordered another dozen. We also were very pleased with the lobster roll. The lobster was scrumptious and it was on a nice fresh buttery roll. We have a fabulous experience and... More

Visiting for the weekend, and my husband and I stopped here for dinner. Great meal and service! Crowded and busy but they manage to handle it well. The food, drinks and service were great! Casual and loud but I highly recommend Mama's for a meal while in Baltimore.

Our two couples came up to Baltimore to visit the Ship John W Brown. We had dinner this evening at Mamas. Everything was terrific. The oyster, raw and grilled were perfect. My crab cake was superb. We fought over the macoroni side dish. Crab soup, mussels, spinach. We loved it. Happy to support Baltimore and this wonderful historic restaurant in... More

Having visited about 8 times I expected the restaurant to be crowded, even though it was Tuesday nite. No so. Maybe its because their prices have jumped Normally would give it at least 4 stars but after getting the bill I was shocked & they're lucky to get 3! My sixteen yr old got a SINGLE crab cake entrée -... More

Every time I travel to Baltimore I go out of my way to come here. I love going with friends and getting a bunch of things to share. Oysters, oyster shooters, beer mussels, crabcakes, bloody marys, and Orange Crush. Every friend I have taken has been wowed and gone back on their own. I highly reccomend anyone visit.

Visited Mama's for the first time in awhile to celebrate the retirement of a client contact who is also a great friend. Someone was aware of our visit and we were treated like royalty and family. Seated promptly, John was announced as our server and he mentioned the kitchen was at work on a special appetizer. In the meantime, I... More
