I am a resident of the Canton area and frequent Mama's. Their food is delicious, along with their drinks. Oysters and Orange Crushes.

Best Orange Crush's around, and best crab cake, the menu is delightful and full of many options for non-seafood lovers. The specials are very nice, and Sunday Brunch is the best around, you may have to wait to get in, but it's worth it!

Nice seafood restaurant with old time feel. Converted house right on canton square. Great character.

There were 9 people in our party, and everyone ordered a different entree - a combination of daily specials and standards off the menu. Everything was perfectly prepared. Everyone loved their meals. The raw oysters were very fresh. Chances are it is a cab ride from wherever you are staying, but absolutely worth the trip. Can't for get the mention... More

I eat a lot, but maybe not as much as Americans do. We ordered Cod Fish Cakes, Classic Combo Platter, and a few sides. However, I think Classic Combo Platter is just enough for 2. Outside tables are available. The manager seemed to be a little rude, but our waitress was so sweet.

The lobster roll is phenomenal. Pricey, but I believe you get just about an entire lobster. It's served on a buttered, toasted roll....and the crunch with the tender lobster meat keeps me wanting more! Oh...and their orange crushes are not to be skipped, you gotta have at least one!

The pan seared scallop appetizer was heavenly. The soft shell crabs were good. Service was excellent and there was a very good local beer selection.

My husband had a huge piece of fish with the fish and chips and I had a terrific lump crab cake here. A very nice waitress served us. Nice atmosphere. A Pub like feel with a large quantity of TVs to watch sports. Would definitely recommend. Will be stopping here again when in town

Mamas on the Half Shell is a classic, rich in architectural touches of a building that stood this restaurant's 2003 opening. Specializing in seafood, the lunch menu was varied, from crab cakes and soft shell crabs to burgers, clubs and salads. The server was attentive and he lunch was as pleasant as could be: I had the chef salad and my... More
