Roast beef , turkey, homemade sausage , on soft bread!! The place is located off route 40 in baltimore . T he only thing you will see as you drive by is the LONG LINES of people waiting outside for the sandwich treat of a lifetime!! The food at this "place" is incredible. To top it off you can have... We stopped for a pork bbq sandwich and my husband had a combo sandwich. It's homemade pork BBQ and its delicious! We also had a side of fries and chicken wings. The fries were a little greasy, but the fried chicken wings were good!

My husband loved his pit beef and ham sandwich - mixed the tiger and house bbque sauce. I got the Reuben - the corn beef wasn't that flavorful. Definitely would echo the sentiment to not let the surroundings deter you - not so bad once you are in the door!

Don't let the look of this place put you off, the food here is amazing. Whether it's corn beef, roast beef, turkey or whatever, you will not find a better sandwich anywhere.

Easy to get to off I-95. Had planned on arriving by 11:15 a.m. but it was noon and so we had to wait in a line. But it went fairly quickly and we were lucky to find seats to sit down to eat. Bathrooms are in the outside area through the restaurant. Be sure to pick up the handi-wipe packets... More

There is a reason you see this place on Food Network shows. It's the classic dive restaurant but the food is oh.so.good. Every time we are in Baltimore for my son's disabled hockey team we all go there. The staff is friendly and fast, and even though we come with 3 or more wheelchairs and the place is tiny they... We are foodies and from New Orleans. We know good food. We actually made two trips to this delicious food establishment. The pitt beef is lean, tasty and unique. The other meats were incredible as well. This is a "very casual" place with great prices and even better food. Worth the drive (about 10 minutes from the Inner harbor).

My friend was adamant that we go here before I leave and I'm so glad we did! It's not in the best part of town, but the moment you drive up to this little shack and smell the food being cooked, that's the last thing on your mind! I had the Raven sandwich (beef, turkey, corned beef) with the tiger... More
